SHP at a Decision-making resistanceJSE:SHP is trading at a resistance level and if it breaks through, I would consider a long position based on the breakout of the longer term down trend, but if it bounces off, I will go short for a shorter term trade.
But I will wait to see what happens first, before I make a decision.

BID Corporation at ResistanceJSE:BID has been trading in a channel for a while and is at the strong resistance at the top of the channel. I am anticipating a downward move back to the bottom of the channel as it seems to have struggled at the resistance level before.
If the downward move doesn't happen and it breaks through the top of the channel, I will consider a long position.
Morning Star on GoldFieldsA Morning Star pattern has formed on JSE:GFI which is a bottom reversal signal. This coupled with a bounce of the bottom support strengthens the signal.
A Morning Star is found after a preceding down trend where the 2nd candles body must be below the 1st and 3rd candles body. The 3rd candle must close above 50% of the 1st red body.
I will enter this trade long and try to reach the target at the top resistance.
Short on Anglo AmericanJSE:AMS has reached a resistance level just above the 83000 level. It reached this high on the 22nd of March bu then retraced all the way down to the 72000 level.
Before this, the last time it reached these levels was in April 2010.
My thoughts are that it is going to retrace downwards again and I am looking for a move back down to the 72000 level. If it does break through the previous high, we can see a move towards the 90000 area.
But my bet is on a short.
Sideways channel on BidvestJSE:BVT is trading in a sideways channel and has been since mid-November last year. It has reached the top of the channel and will most likely bounce on the resistance and continue downwards. I will enter a short around the 21600 level if it goes down.
Our target level will be the bottom of the channel around the 19000 level, which is also a significant level because round numbers tend to act like magnets for the price action.
If it fails to bounce off and breaks through the resistance, I will consider entering a long position.
Reversal on BidvestJSE:BVT has formed a "open/close above stomach" pattern which is a strong reversal signal.
It works as follows: After preceding downtrend, the second candle opens and closes above 50% of the long red body.
Along with today's upward movement, we can expect it to reach our target at the next resistance level
MTN headed for gap closeJSE:MTN has been trading in a sideways channel since late September 2018. It has now broken out of this channel, having moved up strongly the last few trading days. It is ready for a long position, and the target is the gap close.
Also bear in mind that it could possibly retrace back to the support level and bounce before it goes further up.
RMH Fib RetracementJSE:RMH is in an upward trend and seems to have just finished with a retracement which bounced perfectly off of the 61.8% Fibonacci level.
If my predictions are correct, it should continue in an upward move for a while all the way back to the previous high and possibly even beyond.
Strong Support on DSYJSE:DSY is trading at a strong support level at the moment.
It has bounced off of this level forming a hammer candle pattern which indicates a loss of bearish momentum and is a strong reversal signal.
Coupled with this, the stochastic has turned upwards which makes the signal stronger.
I have entered a long position, aiming for the next resistance level.
Gap to close on ANGJSE:ANG has formed a bearish harami which is a strong reversal signal. This could signify a change of direction to a downward move. There is also a gap to close that formed on the 20th of Feb.
Gaps tend to act as magnets for the price and like to be closed. I have entered a short position and will look to close either once the gap has been closed or further down at 18000. The 18000 level is quite a significant support level, so I wouldn't be surprised if it went down to that level.
Cup and Handle Trade on INL & INPJSE:INL has formed a Cup and Handle pattern which is a bullish continuation pattern.
"As its name implies, there are two parts to the pattern: the cup and the handle. The cup forms after an advance and looks like a bowl or rounding bottom. As the cup is completed, a trading range develops on the right-hand side and the handle is formed. A subsequent breakout from the handle's trading range signals a continuation of the prior advance." (from Stockcharts.com)
I have entered a long position on today's price action as it has broken through the level at the top of the cup.
To establish the target, I have measured the depth of the cup and extrapolated it upwards which goes all the way to the next resistance level.
THE EXACT SAME STRATEGY CAN BE APPLIED OT JSE:INP
Possible long on PSGJSE:PSG has broken out of the sideways trend that it has been trading in for quite a couple of months. It has formed two higher lows in a row and has broken through the long term resistance and bounced off of it as support.
If the price moves above the last high I will enter a long postion.
