MEGL Magic Empire Global Limited was an IPO that went to $249.94 in the first day of trading. It reminded me of HKD and AMTD! but what if it still has juice in it??? Looks like a high risk, high reward situation. Looking forward to read your opinion about it! Would you invest in MEGL??
While TD Ameritrade and E*TRADE have been bought for insane multiples, Stonex seems to be very under-reported. More than $20B in revenue for the QUARTER, but it trades at $1B market cap?
Trading activity has increased significantly, so I'm expecting the brokerage stocks to follow.
In November, Charles Schwab announced plans to buy $TDA for a little over $26 billion in current market value. Not really talked about? The terms of the deal. The acquisition, which plans to go through by Q4 of 2020, was basically a "stock swap". From Reuters: "As part of the deal, expected to close in the second half of 2020, Ameritrade stockholders will get...
A single day drop of over 25%, and a weekly drop of more than 35% of market value... seems an over-reaction, but who am I to say such things...
$SCHW going to commission-free trading has plunged $AMTD down 20% at Tuesday's open. Good opportunity to buy the dip in $AMTD. Selloff overdone. As always, trade with caution and use protective stops. Good luck to all!
interestingly, now I am looking at multiple exchange stocks. Very clean chart and massive gap to be filled, in position, stop 37.51.
AMTD is extremely undervalued due to the news of Charles Schwab having 0$ commissions. With TD Ameritrade now offering 0$ commission fees, expect it to recover for a potential 20%+ dip buy opportunity.
I'm curious to know what you guys think especially on the fundamentals.
We just heard a rumor today that supposedly came from an eTrade Employee / High Ranking Executive that the company has started deceptively and unlawfully manipulating trading accounts due to extreme losses within thousands of eTrade accounts. What we heard... AFTER A STOCK IS PURCHASED ON MARGIN, with a 25% Margin Requirement, days, if not weeks later, the...
Financial stocks have been beaten into the dirt over the last several months, but have recently seen some relief. Many banks are largely overbought at this point and AMTD is no different while also hitting a resistance level. Placing short orders between $55 and $55.50 as we will see an initial gap up at open this morning. This stock could certainly continue to...
If R2 Pivot is breached with enough momentum, a retest of R3 Pivot Resistance could be possible. Be patient for an entry. Follow your plan and obey your rules.
Well from 1999 high still AMTD is suffering a lot. Even struggling to hold 2015 high of $38 ish. Next target for short side is $20 and if fails then $12. Ultimate target sub $5.
