AUDUSD : Bearish short-term, long-term bullish For the Fed's remarks yesterday, the market worried about prospects for US inflation. Even if the Fed is likely to raise interest rates next month, it will take longer to see if it will see any further rate hikes next year. In contrast, Australia has not yet raise interest rates once the Reserve Bank of Australia released consider raising interest rates, then Australia will have a better chance to rise. So from the long-term point of view, the Australian dollar against the US dollar, bearish short-term, long-term bullish, more suitable.

AUDUSD: An Alternate Wave (iv) Count & ScenarioIn my previous post (see Related Ideas: "AUDUSD: Revised Wave Count + Wolfe Wave + POTENTIAL Bat :), I gave one possible scenario for the way this pair was unfolding its' wave (iv). What I wanted to do here is to offer up an alternative wave (iv) wave count and pattern. In this count, I have a 3-3-5 flat correction for wave (iv) ending at the completion of the bearish bat.
I actually favor this count more than the other one BUT really, it doesn't matter which one is correct as much as they both lead to the same conclusion: wave (iv) is ending soon and wave (v) will start.
