GOLD vs USD/JPY: some considerationsHi Guys, this is based on my post dated Jan 11th (GOLD vs USD/JPY - daily) but 4hours. Here is the link: At A) Gold is encountering resistence. USD/JPY bounced and took the distance from A) on Jan 3rd. The A) of USD/JPY was formed at the same level of Y) whilst the A) on Gold was formed below Y). I don't know if Gold will ever reach Y). GOLD: missed signalHi Guys, today @ 14:00 GOLD made a canldestick that crossed both the 50 RSI and the bold horizontal line @ 1291.71. USD/JPY @ 14:00 was still below the same bold horizontal line @ 108.277. It crossed it approx.2 hours later. Maybe it was a good opportunity to short JPY for the same cross or just touch. USD/JPY: watch this candelstickHi Guys, this candlestick was made at 16:00 whilst GOLD made a similar move (but inverse) at 14:00. Gold attacked and crossed the bold horizontal line at 14:00 when USD/JPY was still well below its bold horizontal line @108.277. These are signals provided by inverse correlations. Sometime they work, sometime they don't. It depends on the interpretation given by each one of us. They can be useful and can be found in a lot of markets that are correlated.
