Ending
Ending Diagonal. "While volume tends to diminish as a diagonal of small degree progresses, the pattern always ends with a spike of relatively high volume when throw-over occurs." "A rising ending diagonal is usually followed by a sharp decline retracing at least back to the level where it began (4) and typically much further."

GBP/AUD sellThe way GA broke the high basically creating a 3 wave with an ending diagonal makes me think it may create a large flat pattern here possibly. It has potential to go down much further. It did already create a flag and technically did already complete a correction. It almost looks as though it is making a buy setup right now to extend this flag further, but may not be. I may go with a limit order and a sell stop order possibly.
GBPUSDThere's 2 options for GBUSD. First, if the price bounces on the trend line, I'll buy because it has formed an ABC Diagonal. The second option, if the price breaks the trend line, I'll wait the confirmation to enter in short because it has formed an Ending Channel too.

EUR vs. AUD 1H Chart. Ending Diagonal | #euraud #forex #aud #eurTraders,
EURAUD has gone "too far too fast", so as for an Ending Diagonal to be in play with its fifth wave ending in a "throw over". Price broke the ii.- v. line with a sharp spike,
and started correcting, unfolding into a Zig-Zag labeled in minuette degree, a. - b. - c.
Looking for further drop, after price reach possible reversal zones at 1.57000(+/-) where fib-price ratios confluence pinpoint.

Bund Trading In A Minor Triangle CorrectionBund is trading quite slow, choppy and overlapping since September of last year which gives us an idea that a bigger Elliott Wave triangle correction within wave 4 consolidation is in the making. If that is the case, then more slow price action may follow on Bund and ideally afterwards make a new recovery into black wave 5 as part of a higher degree Elliott wave ending diagonal .
At the moment however, we see wave b trading in final stages and searching for resistance near the upper triangle line

Ending Diagonals: Trade Setup!Hello!
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
I'll post more examples in the comment section below to help you develop a better understanding of where and how to identify ending diagonals.

Elliott Wave analysis: S&P500 May Face A ReversalS&P500 can be trading in late stages of a wave c), final wave that is part of a three wave correction. As we can see current wave c is displaying qualities of an ending diagonal, which means a sharp and sudden drop lower could be in for the stock. Break of 2379 can cause and confirm a sell-off.
An ending diagonal is a special type of pattern that occurs at times when the preceding move has gone too far too fast, as Elliott put it. A very small percentage of ending diagonals appear in the C wave position of A-B- C formations. In double or triple threes, they appear only as the final “C” wave. In all cases, they are found at the termination points of larger patterns, indicating exhaustion of the larger movement. Its formation is a 3-3-3-3-3.

Ending of the Goldman Sachs rallyGoldmans Sachs had a great really from November 2016 until now. The chart is moving sideways now and shows singular sell signals . The investors are less modifying their $GS positions. They make themselves ready to close their position. The sideways chart shows irresoluteness about their actions.
NZDUSD May See More Weakness, But After Temporary CorrectionNZDUSD is in a strong downtrend for the last few weeks, which is expected to continue soon if we consider a five wave fall from 0.7402 followed by a recent bounce towards the 0.7171 level, which could be the first leg of a minimum three wave rise in corrective wave 2), labeled as wave A. If that is the case then drop from the mentioned level was sub-wave B that seems completed and current bullish development could be wave C the final leg of this three wave rise. As we see on the chart, we labeled a possible ending diagonal in wave C, that may unfold because of overlapping price movement. The ideal reversal zone for this whole correction may be around 0.7240 area.
The ending diagonal is a special type of motive wave that occurs primarily in the wave 5 position when price has moved too far and too fast. Some ending diagonal triangles appear in the C wave of an ABC correction. In all cases, the ending diagonal terminates the move of larger patterns. They consist out of five waves, with each having three more sub-waves.
Ending Diagonal On USDCAD Indicates A Probable ReversalUSDCAD has been trading higher for the last few weeks, especially since crude oil has turned south. On Loonie we see higher highs and higher swing lows but with overlapping price action between two converging trendlines so pair can be making an ending diagonal as shown on the 4h chart. That's a strong reversal pattern which could send price south this month, maybe already from current levels as we see small break beneath the support line. Based on latest update, invalidation level is above 1.3700, as wave 3) must not be the shortest wave.

GBPCHF double combination patterni will be looking for buy opportunities next week
the overall trend is downside, but it seems that this correction phase is about to end with a double combination structure ending with triangle and MACD divergence tells that upside momentum is increasing.
because its a counter trend trade, and the movement to upside will be another correction phase, we have to move the stop to break even as soon as our trading strategy allows.
EURGBP --- Has it topped for now?I like the larger shape here, the way the price action spilled out of the narrow channel and came back to rest up against it.
- Wave 4 left the narrow channel and
- wave 5 (if complete) only made a slight new high above wave 3
- Plus wave 5 appears to be ending in a Diagonal.
These are characteristics of very common Elliott wave structure.
This also represents a "Double Top" reversal pattern.
AUDUSD is breaking out of Ending Pattern..Is it Time to Go Long?AUDUSD has been on a long term correction and potentially ending the correction completing A-B-C on higher time frame. As per short term trading time frame the pair has broken out of ending wedge and could potentially go higher from here. There are two trades ideas that can be taken at this moment. Happy Trading!!
Copper yet has not bounce but still can do it.This is a follow up of the last elliott wave analysis published 8 months ago www.tradingview.com
The basic change is in the extended 5th.
The diagonal as we expected did not work due keep the original wave count as originally stated is impossible due now will see the 3rd wave as the shortest. This can't be even in diagonals.
So the best way to update it is by extending the 3rd wave as a double zigzag and then count the following up sided zigzag as a wave 4.
This give us space for the fifth wave that is getting near to the 1 to 1 proyection for the 5) vs the traveled from the start of 1) to the end of 3) measured from the end of 4).
