SWING TUTORIAL - TECHMIn this tutorial, we try to understand how and why the stock NSE:TECHM started going upward and how we can find the best entry while reading charts.
The stock had started forming a Support at 1000 levels at June 2022 and since been retesting the same level again up to April 2023.
During the same time we can observe how the MACD levels consistently kept moving upwards. This indicated that momentum was gaining and it slowly starting to turn bullish.
Once the MACD finally made a successful crossover after close to 52 weeks in April 2023, this is where our Entry got created.
Eventually slowly making its way right up to the Swing High levels.
This trade is still in play and will probably retest its Swing High levels in the coming weeks.
And if the MACD line and signal are still as split away from each other as they are on the monthly timeframe, this could also breakout from the Swing High levels and going all the way further.

Bitcoin Analysis #1: Simple Plan & Strategy During the Bull RunWe can clearly observe that we are once again in an uptrend, which is certainly encouraging news. This resurgence makes a break below the current low of November 2022 at 15k seem unlikely.
Thus, we find ourselves in a new bullish cycle, with a potential target of at least 100k. Personally, I believe that aiming for 150k to 250k in this cycle is quite plausible. This signifies numerous new opportunities in the realm of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
Many altcoins are currently trading at lower levels, presenting a favorable opportunity to invest in the cryptocurrency market.
Although, it's important to adhere to rule number one: avoid succumbing to hype and exercise patience . It's crucial to wait for an opportune entry point, ideally during a dip with a confirmed reversal pattern, or a breakout from a trading pattern within a favorable price zone. This is the essence of prudent trading.
However, reaching the 100k mark won't occur immediately, especially without a significant pullback. Presently, it's ill-advised to enter the market, as mentioned earlier. In both investing and trading, patience is key, and it's better to miss out on an opportunity than to enter into a risky one . For me, now is the time to secure profits and reassess the market for a better entry point. The zone between 59k to 82k presents an opportune window to take profits, particularly if there are signs of a reversal pattern or divergence. Alternatively, one can progressively secure profits within this range and wait for a re-entry opportunity between 40k to 23k. Subsequently, it's prudent to await entry confirmation, such as a reversal divergence or another preferred indicator. Alternatively, one can gradually enter the market with buy limits at various levels between 40k to 23k.
Regarding shorting, it's advisable to wait for a break above the previous all-time high. An entry for a short position can be planned between 70k to 82k, contingent upon identifying a suitable trading pattern. Profit-taking can occur at 50k, with the majority or all of the profits being realized at 40k. While it may be tempting to hold onto positions for potentially higher gains, it's essential to prioritize safety . At least 50% of profits should be secured at 50k and 40k levels.
For me, a break below 18k confirmed with a weekly close below signals a significant shift. However, this doesn't necessarily imply selling Bitcoin outright. Instead, it suggests that new all-time highs may not be imminent , and we could potentially be entering a new downtrend. Nevertheless, Bitcoin remains a stable asset, providing the option to either hold or await a pullback to exit positions. This exemplifies the approach of smart trading.

Perfect Entry Strategy - Bullish Engulfing in Key LevelsHello everyone, you are here to read about one of my best crypto-tested entry strategies, Bullish Engulfing in Key Levels . It’s a price action strategy and I’m going to explain its details but, even if you are not good at price action stuff, you could use it as well as I can. There are no requirements for dealing with this strategy except using two indicators.
The base success rate of this strategy was over 60% for me and by applying some filters and considering some best practices and being experienced in it, I could increase its success rate up to 76%.
This strategy is a combination of a Bullish engulfing candlestick pattern, pivot points, and key levels. By key level, I mean a trend line or a horizontal resistance/support line drawn by you or your added indicator. We can assume the base requirement of the strategy meet if a Bullish Engulfing (BE) pattern takes place near a key level or a pivot point.
We will use the Trend Key Point indicator to draw horizontal key levels and key points. It marks pivot points with a sign above and below the candles. If the pivot point is important, the indicator will draw a horizontal line as a key level. In this strategy the LL pivots are important to us. All necessary details will be applied to your chart by adding the indicator to it. You can also read more about Trend Key Point guide and best practices here .
There is also an indicator for finding and highlighting Bullish Engulfing patterns called Common Candlestick Patterns . By adding the indicator, you will see too many highlighted patterns because there are active by default. Therefore, after adding the indicator to your chart, you need to open its options and uncheck all except the Show Bullish Engulfing one to highlight just Bullish Engulfing patterns.
After adding indicators, you need to wait and capture entry points in a suitable state. But there are some tips and best practices we need to jot down to distinguish between good and bad states and increase the success rate of the strategy. I list below:
Ignore a BE pattern that does not occur at a key level or is far from key levels.
It’s a good sign if the BE pattern occurs on an LL pivot point (a candle that has a star under it) which meets a key level.
BE pattern must have an acceptable and strong body. You can ignore weak candles.
Ignore the BE pattern formed just below a resistance or potential reversal area.
It excites me to see a BE pattern at the lower point of the price but a BE at the end of correction sounds good too.
If the BE pattern occurs on the LL pivot seeing a key level and the volume also confirms that by crossing the VMA20 (volume moving average length 20), you can enter definitively.
If the entry requirements are met, the closing price of the BE pattern will be my entry point.
Do not enter if the green candle of the BE pattern is abnormally big. You can wait for a pullback or you can ignore the pattern.
BE pattern in the bottom of a range box could also be a good chance to enter but you have to be careful where the range is.
As you read before, this article is about finding the entry point and after clarifying that it's time to find out where you need to put your stop loss and your take profit but, these topics not fit in this article. You can refer to the other available resources covering these topics.
Both of the indicators mentioned are developed by myself, so I tried to apply my best practices to them. I hope it was useful for you. Feel free to submit your comment to improve the strategy or the indicators.
My daily entry strategyI just wanted to hear what you think about this strategy and what you can give me as tips or tweaks to perfect it.
A system I have used to get pips every day.
This chart is just an example, but this is all trades I would have taken if I saw them. I will now tell you about the strategy:
After candle close on the 1D chart I am looking to see what the last candle did, for me to enter the trade, the candle would have crossed the MA.
If it is a bullish candle crossing the MA, I go long. And if it's bearish I go short.
But obviously I would also consider where on the chart it is.
Was it near a key level? Near a bollinger band? Is price in consolidation? Everything to consider, but the most important part is the MA price cross.
Things that strengthen the entry:
1. MA and EMA price cross and close (in this order)
2. Key level and MA price cross and close
3. If price have recently been near or outside the billinger band.
4. If price have recently been near a key level.
5. When price is trending
After entry I usually hold for one day before I manually close the trade, unless it's clearly trending, then I can use these "signals" to add positions or move stop losses.
So this strategy is a big "NO NO" when you look at the risk to reward ratio, due to my stop loss is at the wick or opening price of the candle, and you never know how many pips you can get out of the next candle.
But as you see on the chart, this is all entries that I would have considered taken, just 6 out of 22 entries would have ended in loss.
It has worked well for me this far, but how can I perfect it?
The settings I use is as follows:
MA - 5,1
EMA - 20
Bollinger band - 30,2,2
