Ethereum (ETHUSDT) Daily Long&Short Trade Setups 2021/03/08Hi guys! I will be sharing the trades that I take in real time, follow to see how my trades work out! Market Overview Price Action: Ethereum has been in a strong uptrend for the past couple of days, with the most recent rally taking price from $1440s to $1750s, a rise of over 20%. ETHBTC pair also seemed to have found a bottom, suggesting a potential ETH bull run, which could also usher in an altseason. Chart Patterns: N/A Areas of Interest: The area(s) of interest for me are the S&R Flip @ $1700 and the 200MAs @ $1630-1650. Once price reaches one of these areas, I will monitor for entry confirmations. If the entry confirmations are aligned, I will take a trade and share the my trade in real time. Trade Setups Below are the potential trade setups that I would be interested in trading: Long Trade Setup #1: Retest and Continuation (S&R Flip) 1. Price Action: Price needs to move back down to the S&R flip @ $1700 and bounce back up. 2. Trade Entry Confirmations: Bullish candlestick pattern, Above average volume, MACD bottoming Long Trade Setup #2: Retest and Continuation (200MAs) 1. Price Action: Price needs to move back down to the 200MAs, currently projected to be @ $1630-1650 by the time price reaches it, and bounce back up. 2. Trade Entry Confirmations: Bullish candlestick pattern, above average volume, MACD bottoming My Recent Trades 2021/03/05: I had a winning trade! It formed an extreme reversal pinbar near the 61.8Fib and price has since bounced slightly. It is still very possible for price to retrace down to actually touch the 61.8Fib before reversing back up. Of course, a big part depends on whether Bitcoin can hold its current test of the 61.8Fib. If Bitcoin trends up from here, then ETH will likely head up to test the 200MAs. Chart Patterns: N/A Areas of Interest: The area(s) of interest for me are the 61.8Fib @ $1430 and the 200MAs @ $1530-1550. Once price reaches one of these areas, I will monitor for entry confirmations. If the entry confirmations are aligned, I will take a trade and share the my trade in real time. Price bounced weakly off of the 200MAs, and it is back retesting the same region. Should price fail to bounce or the bounce is even smaller than the first small bounce, it increases the likelihood of bears stepping in to take advantage of the weak bulls. Chart Patterns: N/A Areas of Interest: The area(s) of interest for me are thehighs @ $1655. Once price reaches one of these areas, I will monitor for entry confirmations. We have rallied 17% from a low of $1300 to a high of $1600. Coincidentally, Bitcoin has also rallied 17% from low to high (from $43K to $50K). After multiple false breaks above the 200MAs just to see price quickly reverse below the 200MAs and dump further, this time price is sustaining itself above the 200MAs. If we come back down to the 200MAs and retests it as support and bounce strongly off of it, we are likely to see this rally continue, potentially to new All Time Highs. Chart Patterns: N/A Areas of Interest: The area(s) of interest for me are the 200MAs @ $1470 and Highs @ $1600. Once price reaches one of these areas, I will monitor for entry confirmations. Market Overview Price Action: Ethereum has continued to show weakness against both USDT and BTC pairs as it continuously slides to lower lows. As Bitcoin has failed to rally, ETH has shown even more weakness. It has not yet been able to decouple from Bitcoin and go on a run of its own. Bitcoin will need to stabilize and slowly start to move up in order for ETH to have a chance of rallying, both in dollar terms and in BTC terms. If ETHUSDT and ETHBTC can start to rally, we will likely see an altseason with fantastic gains. Market Overview Price Action: After crashing more than 33% from a high of $2042 to a low of $1355, Ethereum rallied 26% to a high of $1712. It has however so far failed to strongly close and trade above the 200MAs, indicating that buying pressure is so far not big enough to confirm a definitive end of the correction. While it is likely that the correction is over and the bottom of this correction has been put in, until we retest the 200MAs as support instead of resistance, there is a non-trivial probability that the current rally is a dead cat bounce before another leg down. What happens today and tomorrow will be very important in determining the short to medium term trend. Chart Patterns: N/A Areas of Interest: The area(s) of interest for me are the 61.8Fib @ $1780. Ethereum is moving inside upward channel. there are basically three types of channel directions, one is upward slopping channel which 80 - 90 % of the time break downside second is downward slopping channel which 80 - 90 % of the times break upside . third one is side ways which means market unable to decide the direction and we can trade inside channel with the help of price action. now what is price action ? price action is vast topic but it include candlesticks, support resistance, moving average etc so here we see in Ethereum price is in upward channel and hopefully it will break downside . our target is at support level for now . and we also see bearish divergence which confirms its upcoming fall. safe entry is after blue line break. This is a warning note, please study the descriptions carefullyThere are two scenarios for Ethereum, of which both are descending!
