$NFLX is the rotten apple of the large cap bunch! Major Indices hitting their head against major resistance levels while Netflix is is breaking 20 day lows. Price could be heading to $231.26 and with high implied Volatility of 40% with could see a major move to the downside!
If the overall markets starts to roll over Netflix could get dragged down even further.

Microsoft just approved a 40 billion dollar buyback. They are also raising the dividend by 11%.

FAANG Stock Decision Time - GOOGL PlotEvery FAANG stock has some sort of pennant continuation/reversal pattern going. Not really sure which way they want to go, but there will be a huge move next couple of weeks in one direction or another.
I really don't see a compelling reason for the market to rally anymore, but who knows... the algos can pump the crap out of the market with futures overnight, individual investors and fundamentals mean nothing anyways.
Indicators seem bearish, but that's never stopped the market before.

On this asset I will not open this position until Wednesday or thursday most likely, daily chart does not support downward movement, weekly does however.
I will wait to see how monday opens, however I plan on entering this short sometime next week.
This Week: Amazon Analysis Amazon reported Q1 results, beating EPS estimates by $2.44 and doubling its profit. It also announced that it woud invest $800m to make one-day free shipping the new standard for all core Prime members. The stock continues its ascent towards $2,000.
FAANG Pump with FuturesLooks like they're trying to pump futures (look at MFI) but the only things going up are FAANG stocks.
Europe's still on holiday, low volume today. Staying out of the market, expecting another pump and dump with futures.
FAANG Stocks at July 2018 Earnings levelFB, AAPL, AMZN, NFLX, and GOOGL are all at the same level they were pre/post earnings last July. Keep in mind that it was the last batch of reports before the big tank.
So what does this mean? Maybe we go into a market melt up like last summer and the market tanks after the China trade news. Hard to say, some stocks are doing well on earnings and others are not. Mixed bag so far, really no way to predict earnings reaction at all, especially with reduced expectations.
Look at Dicks (I mean the stock, DKS). Missed earnings and still went to a 52 week high. The market is just getting stupid now.
$AMZN Analysis: Post-Disney+ News Amazon stock remained largely unscathed by news of Disney+ releasing at the end of this year, despite the challenge to its Prime Video service. The tech giant also hit the headlines late this week when the retail industry issued forceful responses to the challenge from Jeff Bezos to its competitors to “match our employee benefits and our $15 minimum wage”. Walmart, Macy’s and eBay CEOs each fired back with responses comprising pointed barbs asking Bezos to pay his taxes and to stop competing with his sellers.
AMZN investors remained undaunted, with the stock having broken above a bull flag and continuing to consolidate just under the $1850 resistance zone.

AAPL to See Short-Term Correction Prior to Climbing HigherApple finished an inside week on 2/15/19, and appears to be running out of steam as it attempts to climb higher. Twice rejected by its weekly 100, and facing loose resistance inside lower region of fan DTL's, it seems likely a retest of 160 would be in order. Not impossible to test 145-150 before regaining ATH's.
