FENY - MSCI EnergyI am 80% bullish on the Energy ETF (FENY). I am planning to fill my position for August 2024 at $25.10.
I allocate a portion of my monthly salary to invest in ETFs. Currently, my position is with SPUS (S&P 500), but given the current bearish market for S&P's, FENY is my next best option for small cap market. I am confident that FENY will rally towards $26.90, representing a 7% increase. Hoping for the best.
Good Luck and Thank you!

US Energy ETF(IYE)The price has approached a point to close the gap and is likely to hit the resistance level at $50.30, potentially moving sideways until the November US General Election. My position is that if Trump wins, we could see significant growth in Energy stocks and ETFs, potentially breaking the $50.30 resistance. My advice is to start investing in IYE today, compounding $500 a month for the next 10 years or so. You will likely not regret it. This analysis goes the same to “FENY”
Good Luck and Happy Investing
Halal way to trade the movement of the Oil prices : ETFI am a Muslim so there are issues about the halal-ness in trading CFD, particularly the Brent CFD (BCOUSD in Oanda)
My solution for this is to buy an ETF that tracks oil companies (Oil companies stock price movement generally moves almost the same as the price movement of Brent and WTI). I found either FENY and XLE as great ETF for this. Unfortunately USO and UCO are tracking Brent futures.
I will use the Brent price chart to determine when I will swing trade FENY or XLE ETF. Look at the chart and it is self explanatory
Cool thing is sometimes FENY will perform slightly better than Brent CFD (13.87% for Brent / 16.85% for FENY for this particular timeframe)
Looking for a decent, if minor correction on USO > 44-ishLooking to purchase Oil/energy equities, looks like USO has a slight negative bias and might break down from ascending wedge. Looking to purchase more oil/energy on a dip. I can see 43-44 on a correction. 100 EMA near 44 should cap losses, unless we have a news catalyst.
Exxon and other energy names have moved up hard over the last few weeks, might be time for a correction. This would be to add to existing positions or to add new names. Also noticing some bearish divergence on the RSI in the 4-hr chart. Looking to pick up a few shares of FENY to diversify. Main vehicle is XOM, FENY is not ideal for diversification, but it provides some. Charts and indicators look okay, XOM appears to be at distribution and therefore a dip is underway as I write. Ideal price for FENY would be 9.90ish, for XOM, I would say anything below 40. Market will do what it wants, so I might just put in a trailing buy order with a half-decent delta and see if I can get a better price, but not going to try to get too "cute" about getting a sale price.
FENY, weekly bullish flag?Taking a look at this as it a commision free energy ETF on Fidelity, Looks like a textbook bullish flag is forming. I personally am hoping for a slight retrace to 21.00 before and explosion to 23 and beyong. Weekly chart so may take a month to play out but something to monitor alongside the price of oil
