Unfilled bullish breakouts. Re-tests further down. The bearish breakouts from 11th June and 2nd August were filled before BTC continued further down.
Two bullish breakouts from 5th and 8th of August are still unfilled and I'm expecting price to reach down at least to the one from 8th of August before we will either see a bullish rejection or price will continue to fall.
If price breaks below the 50k level next support further down will be between 40-44k.
Filling
Can Bullrun Start Without Gap Fill? 🌄🕳️ The Gap Dilemma: Price gaps occur when there's a notable difference between the closing price of one trading period and the opening price of the next, often seen on the charts as a "hole" in price action.
🔍 Gap Filling: Traditional market wisdom suggests that gaps tend to get filled, meaning that the price revisits the gap area and trades within it. In Bitcoin's case, this could mean a retracement to fill a previous gap before further upward movement.
📈 Historical Anomalies: Interestingly, Bitcoin has shown a tendency to defy this norm. In its historical price data, there have been instances where significant bullish trends started without revisiting or filling previous gaps.
🌐 Market Sentiment: Bitcoin's behavior often reflects overall market sentiment. If there's overwhelming bullish sentiment, it might bypass gap filling and initiate an upward move.
🚧 Caution Required: While Bitcoin's past actions might suggest the possibility of such scenarios, it's important to approach each situation with caution. Market conditions can change, and historical patterns don't guarantee future outcomes.
💡 The Takeaway: Bitcoin's unique nature means it doesn't always conform to conventional market expectations. While gap filling is a common phenomenon, the cryptocurrency has demonstrated the ability to start bullish trends without revisiting these gaps.
In trading and investing, adaptability and a comprehensive strategy are key. Keep a close eye on market sentiment, technical analysis, and news developments to make informed decisions.
Remember, there are no absolutes in the crypto world, and flexibility in your approach is your greatest asset! 📊🚀
Sonoma's Harsh Treatments It looks like maybe NASDAQ:SNOA has taken a slide past the industry's watchful eye with this one being so oversold... It may be going under, but it's in California, and Arnold likes those kinds of things. I think this stock will try to regain some ground; mostly because of it's insider buys. Some parts of this trade are not for the faint of heart, but some parts make it look like a packaged deal. Get in around $2, with a stop-loss at $1.80ish, and take some profit when it covers the gap it left after the earnings report.
AAPL H&S Gap Fill ShortEDIT: sorry if the on chart text is small - essentially from left to right the text boxes on the chart say,
1) observe the gap
2) We assume the spike down in Sep is anomalous
3) Downward price target of H&S is the distanceof the neckline to head
4) NEckline retest confirms the pattern
People will laugh at you if you say $75 as a price target for AAPL. But there are some good technical reasons to believe it might happen, outlined in this chart.
WE have an unfilled gap at $75, and a confirmed H&S top with a technical target that takes us to the gap.
Sentiment has turned and while a move to $75 would be extreme for such a profitable company, extreme things happen in the market more often than we like to think.
Even if you don't like the short, if AAPL does freefall, the $75 mark represents an excellent target from which to buy and hold as an investor, if you believe the company is extremely undervalued at such a level.
