18/01/23 10% Profit Taken.I didn't know what to expect at night when BOJ was talking about interest rates that stayed at the same level. But what happened was GBP shoot to the moon.
What I saw in the morning it was clear to me that Buyside liquidity was taken out and that created an opportunity to enter.
Price started to drop down creating FVG on a lower time frame (3min). Then the price came back to FVG and started to fall.
I went out making 10% on both orders :)
Stay focus, and DOn't Give UP.

Hi, and thanks for looking at today’s update. Today we are analysing the daily AUDJPY after the BOJ left the yield curve as is after last month's shock adjustment. The market may have been looking for further moves today, which might be why we saw heavy selling on the Japanese Yen.
Today’s video analysis runs over the last move price action after the shock sell-off and today’s rally. Are a series of higher lows starting to tell us that the market is trying to start a new trend? Today buyers have beaten the range, but we would like to see 91.70 and 93 beaten to show buyers have a new trend underway.

ADX/DMI + Linear Regression Backtesting64% success rate for backtesting ADX/DMI + Linear Regression Channel on EUR/USD for week of 1/9/2023. Had some losses near the end but was getting sloppy with my trading rules. Need more backtesting and trial and error to get my rules ironed out.
Morning Update- The Yens For The WinI don't have much to say about this week's trading except, glad it went the way it did and CPI data helped price move this week.
I took advantage of a few Japanese Yen trades. My hopes is that you did too. In my humble opinion, they moved better to me than most currency pairs did.
So, yay! It's the Yen's for the win!
Now to update.
Most Yen pairs made new lows. This is the best time to update your charts to find an opportunity to possible sell again, if your strategy meshes with the recent movement of course.
I'd love to see fullbacks via the daily timeframe before I enter another longterm swing again, but thats just me.

DXY| Sellers Took Control Again Hi Tradingview Family,
Shaquan here. Today I noticed the Dollar Index(DXY, USDX) made a new low. What this tells me is the sellers still have control and it's time to look for another selling opportunity on USDCHF while buying EURUSD.

XAUUSD Analysis Keep It SimpleLookin Bearish for the large institutions. Trade with em. Sell. Then buy at the low. No price points, you should be trading an area. Keep it simple. Get in the area and get out of an area.
EUR/GBP -6.5% 1/3/2023 Got stopped out pretty quick on this first trade of the year. I like my indicator setup but I need to work on my stop loss placement because it was almost exact with where the market headed like the market knew where I set my stop loss lol. Would have hit TP plus some if wasn't stopped out. Let me know what y'all think for proper stop loss placement, if ATR can you give pointers on how to use it properly for SL. Thanks!

EUR/USD +5.42% 12/16Entered this oversold position early this AM. think it was like 7:15 CST (got into work early) had inventory starting at 730 so set a lower profit target but had profit/risk at 1.5 made a nice little $57.50 off 50,000 units (~$1,060 USD) while I was away doing my work. Checking back in & think I planned accordingly for current market behavior. LMK what yall think for tips/ tricks/ recommendations please! :)
EUR/USD overbought short +9.4% 12/15/2022 Tried this a bit earlier when RSI started to break trend but was stopped out after seeing a quick profit, trend was still too strong. Entered again when confirming overbought area. +DI started to break its trend and trend downwards, RSI broke trend & candle was starting to close within Bollinger Bands. As I type this has continued a bit further down and you could use the middle bollinger as a take profit yet fighting the trend I did not & recommend not doing that. We shall see if it hits that area later & maybe I'll do an update of where this trade could have landed but I have a Secret Santa & lunch out today for work so don't know if I will have the time :) until next time amigos!

In today's analysis, here's a Forex update on the popular trading pair EURUSD. It's the last month of the year 2022; could we expect a Christmas rally?
📈 From a candlestick analysis , the Euro is looking to gain some ground against the Dollar with Three White Soldiers forming on the monthly chart.
📈 From a chart analysis / trend analysis , the regression trend that started in 2008 is still valid and the top of the regression parallel channel points towards 1.15 - 1.20
📈 From a technical indicator analysis, the RSI seems to be losing strength on it's way to the 50 mark and we'll need to see price action CLOSE over 1.08 to consider 1.15 resistance zone
Sideways trading immediate term seems likely
