GBPCAD - Look for Continuation Short (SCALP) 1:2.8!The price action is forming a structured bullish pattern in the HTF, supported by the major trendline. However, the price failed to break the monthly resistance and closed lower than the HTF candle.
If the market moves in our favor, it may react at the order block within the Supply Zone (DBD) on the lower time frame (LTF), presenting a potential scalp short opportunity with an R
of 1:3, supported by the Fibonacci Retracement. The target would be the nearest Demand Zone before the bullish trend continues, assuming the trendline remains intact.
This setup is high-risk since we're trading against the major trend. However, it's important to remember that there are often smaller trends within the larger trend.

GBPCAD Bearish Idea (Weekly Timeframe)For the past two weeks, we observed CAD weakness against several currencies including the Pound! As far as GBPCAD goes we are approaching a very important zone! A zone that stood steadily against bears since March this year!
The bears' dominance is subjected to lower timeframe price action, especially on H4 and H1! Any reversal pattern or candlestick formation will be taken as confirmation for bears' dominance!

Long Setup
💪🏼 Price broke out of a corrective phase and descending channel. This breakout indicates a possible Wave-1 and a possible retest to occur for a Wave-2. Signs of rejections off the zones will provide for long opportunities.
Higher timeframes shows price is trading above the Daily and Weekly 200EMA with a Daily bullish engulfing. Weekly timeframe is plotted with a ABC movement to the upside with a complex correction of Wave-B. Starting of Recent bearish movement has brought us to the golden 61.8% retracement level.
2 targets in place:
TP1: Previous highs at 1.79000 (Fib Ext of 0.50)
TP2: 1.90000 (Fib Ext of 1.00)
GBPCAD Analysis 28/09/2020 -- UpdatePrice broke support and created a resistance on smaller timeframes allowing us to enter sells, we secured our entries at 12 pips and moved stops to BE, price then retraced and would be in heavy drawdown if we didn't secure our profits. So overall we won the trade and managed it to perfection to ensure we didn't get caught out in that retracement.
