Learn 6 Common Beginner Trading Mistakes
In the today's post, we will discuss very common beginner's mistakes in trading that you should avoid.
1. No trading plan 📝
That is certainly the TOP 1 mistake. I don't know why it happens but 99% of newbies assume that they don't need a trading plan.
It is more than enough for them to watch a couple of educational videos, read some books about trading and Voilà when a good setup appears they can easily recognize and trade it without a plan.
Guys, I guarantee you that you will blow your trading account in maximum 2 months if you keep thinking like that. Trading plan is the essential part of every trading approach, so build one and follow that strictly.
2. Overtrading 💱
That mistake comes from a common newbies' misconception: they think that in order to make money in trading, they should trade a lot. The more they trade, the higher are the potential gains.
Same reasoning appears when they choose a signal service: the more trades a signal provider shares, the better his signals are supposed to be.
However, the truth is that good trades are very rare and your goal as a trader is to recognize and trade only the best setups. While the majority of the trading opportunities are risky and not profitable.
3. Emotional trading 😤
There are 2 ways to make a trading decision: to make it objectively following the rules of your trading plan or to follow the emotions.
The second option is the main pick of the newbies.
The intuition, fear, desire are their main drivers. And such an approach is of course doomed to a failure.
And we will discuss the emotional trading in details in the next 2 sections.
4. Having no patience ⏳
Patience always pays. That is the trader's anthem.
However, in practice, it is extremely hard to keep holding the trade that refuses to reach the target, that comes closer and closer to a stop loss level, that stuck around the entry level.
Once we are in a trade, we want the price to go directly to our goal without any delay. And the more we wait, the harder it is to keep waiting. The impatience makes traders close their trades preliminary, missing good profits.
5. Greed 🤑
Greed is your main and worst enemy in this game.
It will pursue you no matter how experienced you are.
The desire to get maximum from every move, to not miss any pip of profit, will be your permanent obstacle.
Greed will also pursue you after you close the profitable trades. No matter how much you win, how many good winning trades you catch in a row, you always want more. And that sense main lead you to making irrational, bad trading decision.
6. Big Risks 🛑
Why to calculate lot size for the trade?
Why even bother about risk management?
These are the typical thoughts of the newbies.
Newbie traders completely underestimate the risks involved in trading and for that reason they are risking big.
I heard so many times these stories, when a trading deposit of a trader is wiped out with a one single bad trade.
Never ever risk big, especially if you just started.
Start with a very conservative approach and risk a tiny little portion of your trading account per trade.
Of course there are a lot more mistakes to discuss.
However, the ones that I listed above at the most common
and I am kindly recommending you to fix them before you start trading with a substantial amount of money.

📈 Charting Lesson: What do I even look for in a chart?!Full-time trader here. Sharing some knowledge for free . If this helps you, show some love: follow me for more and like this idea. 👍
Why do I need a chart anyway?
First, we need to convince you of why you need a chart. No problem. Let's say you're a fundamental analysis investor. The stock has to make sense. The stock has to last forever. It needs to be a growth stock. Let's say... NASDAQ:AAPL NASDAQ:GOOG NASDAQ:NVDA NASDAQ:TSLA is a good example over the last few years. Now that you found a good candidate, when are you going to buy? At an all-time high? At an all-time low? One share a day? One share a week? No. Buying a stock without looking at the chart is like driving with a blindfold. Don't do it.
Pull up a chart.
Observe past price action.
Try to find a trend.
Plan your entry.
Do this even if you're going to hold for 20 years.
When I pull up a chart, what do I look for? I just see a bunch of lines.
Let's first make sure you are looking at the correct view. On the top left corner of your screen, you'll see your user icon. Next to it is the ticker. Next to it is the interval. Next to THAT is the chart type. Make sure you select "CANDLES". Not "hollow candles". Here's how it should look:
Mine may look a bit different because I changed my theme. But the candles is what we care about.
Now the juicy part.
Support and Resistance are Key Reversal Levels.
When you open a chart, the first thing you want to do is look for areas where the price has reached in the past and reversed or got rejected or bounced. For example, every time SPY reached 443.37 in the chart above, it reversed. Let's call this a, "key level".
If the price is ABOVE that key level, the line is called SUPPORT.
If the price is BELOW that key level, the line is called RESISTANCE.
Using the horizontal line tool, make sure you have these key support and resistance levels on your chart. Try to ONLY buy near support and sell near resistance.
If the stock is choppy, do your best. If you can't, skip it and go to another stock. There's thousands!
Stocks, Currencies, and Cryptos Move in Trends. Up or Down.
Next, try to find a "trend". A trend is something where if you connect the dots, the price jumps right from that straight line.
Pull out your trendline tool and try to connect some dots. Don't go through any candle bodies. Going through wicks is okay. It's actually recommended.
Three touches are required to make a valid trendline. If you see only TWO touches? Is the price going TOWARDS the trendline if you were to extend it? There's a good chance it's going to head towards that TL and bounce! Good job. You found a good trade potential.
Identify Reversal or Continuation Patterns.
Look for known patterns. In the example above, there is a "head and shoulders" pattern. This is a bearish reversal pattern.
Know that not all patterns will come true.
It's good to know the overall signal the market is giving.
If every trader sees it, it's likely not going to happen.
In the above example, a looming H/S pattern is scary given already bad economic conditions and recession/ inflation worries. In this case, the market may be trying to tell you something.
Understand that these patterns are not just nice-looking drawings on a chart. They work because they display some sort of buyer/ seller psychology.
I will post more examples of known patterns on my TradingView profile soon. Be sure to follow if you want to learn more.
If you benefitted from this, you are welcome to follow me, comment any questions, or share this with your friends. Good knowledge should be free. I'll post more insight soon. Thank you for reading and for your continued support. 👍

Learn What Time Frame to Trade
If you just started trading, you are probably wondering how to choose a trading time frame . In the today's post, I will go through the common time frames , and explain when to apply them.
1m; 5m, 15m Time Frames
These 4 t.f's are very rapid and are primarily applied by scalpers.
If your goal is to catch quick ebbs and flows within a trading session, that is a perfect selection for you.
30m, 1H Time Frame
These 2 are perfectly suited for day traders.
Executing the analysis and opening the trades on these time frames,
you will be able to catch the moves within a trading day.
4h, Daily Time Frames
These time frames are relatively slow.
They are mostly applied by swing traders, who aim to trade the moves that last from several days to several weeks.
Weekly, Monthly Time Frames
These time frames reveal long-term historical perspective and are mostly used by investors and position traders.
If your goal is to look for buy & hold assets, these time frames will help you to make a reasonable decision.
📝When you are choosing a time frame to trade, consider the following factors :
1️⃣ - Time Availability
How much time daily/weekly are you able to sacrifice on trading?
Remember a simple rule: lower is the time frame, more time it requires for management.
2️⃣ - Risk Tolerance
Smaller time frames usually involve higher risk,
while longer-term time frames are considered to be more conservative and stable.
3️⃣ - Your Trading Goals
If you are planning to benefit from short term price fluctuations you should concentrate your attention on lower time frames,
while investing and long-term capital accumulation suite for higher time frames.
Time frame selection is nuanced and a complex topic. However, I believe that these simple rules and factors will help you to correctly choose the one for you.

Mastering Crypto Trading with Fixed Volume Range Profile 📊🚀Fixed Volume Range Profile (FVRP) is a powerful tool for crypto traders seeking deeper insights into market dynamics. It allows you to visualize price and volume data in a unique way, helping you make informed trading decisions. In this comprehensive guide, we'll walk you through the fundamentals of using Fixed Volume Range Profile for trading cryptocurrencies.
Understanding Fixed Volume Range Profile (FVRP):
FVRP is a graphical representation of price and volume data within specific price ranges. It divides the trading range into equal volume intervals, providing a snapshot of where most trading activity occurred. Key elements of FVRP include:
Price Range: The trading range under consideration, typically from a few hours to several days.
Volume Intervals: Equal-volume increments within the price range.
Profile Bars: Vertical bars representing the volume distribution at each price level.
How to use it ?
1. You need to open any stock/crypto/indices that you want .
2. Look at screenshot to open this tool 👇
3. Attach first point to the start of impulse (Highest point before trend change) and second to the end of impulse (Lowest point of impulse) . Or identify biggest trading volumes in a range 👇
Some more samples 👇
Using FVRP for Crypto Trading:
Now, let's explore how to utilize Fixed Volume Range Profile for crypto trading:
1. Identifying Key Levels:
Start by selecting the cryptocurrency and the specific timeframe you want to analyze.
Plot the FVRP on your chart. This will create profile bars within the specified price range.
Pay attention to areas where the profile bars are the tallest or thickest. These represent high-volume nodes and are crucial support/resistance levels.
2. Trading Signals:
High-Volume Nodes: When the price approaches a high-volume node, it often acts as strong support or resistance. Look for potential buy/sell signals near these levels.
Gaps: Gaps between profile bars indicate a lack of trading activity in that range. Breakouts from these gaps can signal strong price movements.
3. Combining with Other Indicators:
To enhance your trading strategy, consider using FVRP in conjunction with other technical indicators like Moving Averages, RSI, or MACD.
Confirm your signals with multiple indicators to reduce false alarms.
4. Risk Management:
Always use stop-loss and take-profit orders to manage risk.
Determine your position size based on your risk tolerance and the distance to your stop-loss.
5. Monitoring Market Sentiment:
FVRP can provide insights into market sentiment. For example, a concentrated volume node near a resistance level may indicate strong selling pressure.
6. Backtesting:
Before trading with real capital, practice using FVRP on historical data to refine your strategy.
Conclusion:
Fixed Volume Range Profile is a valuable tool that empowers crypto traders with a unique perspective on market data. By identifying key support/resistance levels, gauging market sentiment, and combining FVRP with other indicators, you can make more informed trading decisions.
However, remember that no single tool guarantees success in trading. Always approach the market with caution, practice risk management, and continuously educate yourself to stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of crypto trading. 📊💹🚀
The Descending Channel Pattern 📈🐂Understanding the Descending Channel Pattern:
The descending channel pattern is a price pattern that forms on a chart over an extended period. It consists of two parallel trendlines: an upper trendline that connects the lower highs and a lower trendline that connects the lower lows. These trendlines create a descending channel that slopes downward.
Key Characteristics of the Descending Channel Pattern:
Slope: The channel slopes downward, indicating a gradual decline in price over time.
Support and Resistance: The lower trendline serves as support, and the upper trendline acts as resistance. Prices typically move within this channel.
Duration: Descending channels can persist for weeks, months, or even longer, making them suitable for long-term trading strategies.
Trading the Descending Channel Pattern:
Here's how you can effectively trade the descending channel pattern in Bitcoin:
Identify the Pattern: Begin by identifying a clear descending channel on the Bitcoin chart. Look for multiple touches on the upper and lower trendlines.
Entry Point: Consider entering a long (buy) position when the price approaches the lower trendline, which acts as strong support. This is often an optimal entry point.
Stop-loss: Place a stop-loss order below the lower trendline to manage risk. If the price breaks below this support, it could signal a trend reversal.
Take Profits: Set your take-profit levels near the upper trendline, which acts as resistance. This is where you can consider selling your position to lock in gains.
Confirmation: Look for additional confirmation factors, such as positive news developments, strong trading volume, or bullish indicators, to increase your confidence in the trade.

Guide: SMA and RSI for Trend ReversalsWelcome, traders! In this comprehensive guide, we'll explore a long-term trading strategy that leverages two powerful technical indicators: the Simple Moving Average (SMA) and the Relative Strength Index (RSI). By the end, you'll have a solid understanding of how to use these tools to identify trend reversals and make informed trading decisions with a focus on the bigger picture. 📉📈
Educational Objectives:
Understand the concept of long-term trading and its benefits.
Learn how to use the Simple Moving Average (SMA) to identify trends.
Master the Relative Strength Index (RSI) for spotting overbought and oversold conditions.
Combine SMA and RSI for a comprehensive long-term trading strategy.
Recognize key points of trend reversal for well-timed entries.
📌 Part 1: The Foundation of Long-Term Trading
Long-term trading focuses on capturing significant price movements over extended periods.
It requires patience, discipline, and the ability to ignore short-term noise.
📌 Part 2: Understanding the Simple Moving Average (SMA)
SMA is a trend-following indicator that smooths price data to reveal the underlying trend.
The 200-day SMA is particularly useful for long-term analysis, indicating the overall trend direction.
An upward-sloping 200-day SMA suggests a bullish trend, while a downward slope indicates a bearish trend.
📌 Part 3: Mastering the Relative Strength Index (RSI)
RSI measures the speed and change of price movements, helping identify overbought and oversold conditions.
An RSI above 70 suggests overbought conditions and a potential trend reversal.
An RSI below 30 indicates oversold conditions, potentially signaling a trend reversal to the upside.
📌 Part 4: Combining SMA and RSI for Long-Term Trading
Look for confluence: Confirm trend reversals when the 200-day SMA aligns with RSI overbought or oversold signals.
A bearish signal could be an overbought RSI crossing below the 200-day SMA, signaling a potential downtrend.
A bullish signal might be an oversold RSI crossing above the 200-day SMA, suggesting a potential uptrend.
📌 Part 5: Identifying Points of Trend Reversal
Key points to recognize trend reversals include:
Divergence: When the price makes new highs or lows but RSI doesn't, it signals a potential reversal.
Crossovers: Pay attention to the 200-day SMA crossing above or below the price chart.
Volume: Increasing trading volume often accompanies trend reversals.
🚀 Conclusion:
Long-term trading can be highly rewarding, but it requires a deep understanding of market trends and the right tools. By combining the SMA and RSI indicators, you gain a powerful strategy for identifying trend reversals and making well-informed trades with long-term potential. Remember that no strategy is infallible, so always employ proper risk management techniques and continuously refine your trading skills.

4 Classic Bullish Patterns EVERY TRADER Must Know
In the today's post, we will discuss accurate bullish price action patterns that you can apply for trading any financial instrument.
1️⃣Bullish Flag Pattern
Such a pattern appears in a bullish trend after a completion of the bullish impulse. The flag represents a falling parallel channel. The market corrects itself within.
Bullish breakout of the resistance line of the channel is a strong bullish signal that can be applied for buying the market.
Best entries should be placed immediately after a breakout or on a retest.
Safest stop loss is below the lows of the flag.
Target - the next key resistance.
Here is the example of a bullish flag pattern that was formed on Gold on a 1H time frame. As you can see, after the breakout of the resistance of the flag, a strong bullish rally initiated.
2️⃣Ascending Triangle
Such a pattern forms in a bullish trend on the top of the bullish impulse. The market starts consolidation, respecting the same highs and setting higher lows simultaneously.
The equal highs compose a horizontal resistance that is called the neckline.
Its breakout is an important sign of strength of the buyers.
Buy the market aggressively after a violation, or set a buy limit order on a retest.
Stop loss should lie at least below the last higher low within a triangle.
Target - the next strong resistance.
Take a look at that ascending triangle formation on EURUSD.
Bullish breakout of its neckline was a perfect bullish signal.
3️⃣Falling Wedge
That formation is very similar to a bullish flag pattern.
The only difference is that the price action within the wedge is contracting so that the trend line of the wedge are getting closer to each other with time.
Your signal to buy is a bullish breakout of the resistance of the wedge.
Stop loss is strictly below its lows.
Target - the next key resistance.
GBPUSD formed a falling wedge on a 4H time frame, trading in a strong bullish trend.
You can behold how nicely the price bounced after a breakout of its upper boundary.
4️⃣Horizontal Range
Similarly to the ascending triangle, the horizontal range forms at the top of a bullish impulse in a bullish trend.
The price starts consolidation, then, setting equal highs and equal lows that compose a horizontal channel.
Breakout of the resistance of the range is a strong trend-following signal.
Buy the market aggressively after a breakout or conservatively on a retest.
Stop loss will lie below the lows of the range.
Target - the next strong resistance.
Dollar Index formed a horizontal range, trading in a strong bullish trend.
Breakout of the resistance of the range triggered a bullish rally.
The best part about these patterns is that they can be applied on any time frame. Whether you are a scalper, day trader or swing trader, you can rely on these formations and make consistent profits.
Bitcoin's Recent Battle with Fibbonaci🛡️Hey there, crypto enthusiasts! Let's take a closer look at the recent Bitcoin pump that didn't quite take off as expected. It turns out, we encountered a significant resistance level at the 0.5 Fibonacci retracement on the Fibonacci retracement tool. 📊💡
🌐 The Fibonacci Fascination: Before we delve into the recent action, let's touch on the golden tool of technical analysis – the Fibonacci retracement. It's a tool that helps traders identify potential support and resistance levels on a chart based on the Fibonacci sequence.
💰 The Golden Ratio: In this case, we're talking about the golden Fibonacci retracement, the 0.5 level. This level is often seen as a crucial point on the chart. When an asset like Bitcoin retraces to this level, it can act as either strong support or resistance.
📈 The Recent Pump: Bitcoin recently experienced a significant price pump, and many were hopeful that it might lead to a substantial rally. However, the price action encountered resistance right around the 0.5 Fibonacci retracement level.
🛡️ The Battle at 0.5: This level represents a critical point where traders and algorithms make decisions. It can be a make-or-break point for a potential bullish run.
📊 Fibonacci in Action: To use Fibonacci retracement, simply select the tool on your trading platform, and then click on a significant swing low and drag to a swing high. The tool will automatically plot the retracement levels, including the golden 0.5 Fibonacci retracement level.
📚 Fibonacci Tips: When using Fibonacci retracement, keep these tips in mind:
Look for confluence with other technical indicators.
Consider it a tool in your trading toolbox, not a standalone strategy.
Combine it with your overall trading plan and risk management.
Remember, while Fibonacci retracement is a powerful tool, it's not foolproof, and market dynamics can change rapidly. Stay informed, stay adaptable, and keep honing your trading skills. 🔄📈
Role of Risk Management in Trading and How to calculate riskThe Foundations of Solid Risk Management 🛡️📊:
Risk management in trading involves a series of strategic decisions aimed at minimizing potential losses. It revolves around understanding the risks associated with each trade and employing measures to mitigate them. Whether you're a novice or an experienced trader, risk management remains a non-negotiable aspect of sustainable trading.
👍 Pros of Effective Risk Management:
Shields your trading capital from significant losses.
Provides a structured framework for decision-making.
Fosters discipline and rationality in the face of market fluctuations.
👎 Cons of Neglecting Risk Management:
Exposes your portfolio to undue risks that can lead to substantial losses.
Increases the likelihood of emotional decision-making driven by fear and greed.
The Emotional and Financial Benefits of Risk Management 🧘♂️❤️:
Effective risk management isn't just about preserving your financial resources; it's also about maintaining emotional equilibrium. When traders implement robust risk management strategies, they reduce the psychological stress and anxiety that often accompany trading. This enables traders to make more logical decisions, avoiding impulsive actions triggered by heightened emotions.
Calculating Position Size and Setting Stop Losses 📈🛑:
Two key elements of risk management are calculating the appropriate position size and setting stop-loss levels. These practices are integral to controlling the amount of capital at risk in each trade. By determining the position size based on a percentage of your capital and setting stop-loss orders to limit potential losses, traders ensure that no single trade can significantly erode their account balance.
Comparing Potential Losses and Gains for Different Risk Management Scenarios 💹📉:
Let's explore how the 2% rule affects potential outcomes for different risk management scenarios:
Risking 2% of a $1000 Deposit:
Maximum Risk per Trade: $20 (2% of $1000)
Potential Loss: Limited to $20 per trade
Potential Gain: Can vary, but the focus is on maintaining risk control
Risking 5% of a $1000 Deposit:
Maximum Risk per Trade: $50 (5% of $1000)
Potential Loss: Larger at $50 per trade
Potential Gain: Higher, but the risk of significant losses is elevated
Risking 10% of a $1000 Deposit:
Maximum Risk per Trade: $100 (10% of $1000)
Potential Loss: Considerably larger at $100 per trade
Potential Gain: Higher compared to 2% risk, but risk of capital depletion is significant
How to calculate your position size ?
You can easily calculate risk directly in TradingView using the built-in calculator!
Choose the direction of your position - long or short.
The next step is to set up according to your deposit and risk per trade.
After that, simply drag it onto the chart in line with your stop loss and take profit (more on this in the upcoming article), and it will automatically calculate the position size for you!
Risk to Reward Ratio is the key to constant wins at tradingI love writing those articles on my Blog, mainly because I learn from reviewing my trades & secondary for the value it gives back to the trading community.
I been preaching Trading is simple but not easy. It is based on following a winning trade plan. & how do you find such a plan? Try & fail, Try & succeed there is no other way. There is the possibility of a generous soul teaching how a winning strategy & thats what I hope to do in this article. I will share 2 rules
Rule number 1 Always trade the bigger picture.
Find out what the bigger picture chart is doing & trade based on that. In this trade am placing my trade decision in the (W) chart the top chart in white. My bigger picture chart is the monthly (M) not shown. And the chart I use to time my enter & exit is the Day chart (D) below in Black
Rule number 2 Risk to Reward ratio,
This should be rule #1 but I placed it as number 2 to add importance to the rules of trading the bigger picture. Aim for a Risk to Reward ratio of 3 to 5. This means you asses the Risk (how. much money you can loose) before you asses the Reward (how much money you can win).
In this trade, the bigger picture chart (M) is in a downtrend. The trading chart (W) comes into untested Supply Zone (SZ) with a Risk of less than a dollar. I take my SHRT in the red Circle
The reward is 4-5 dollars per share, mostly due to a price free fall zone, with little Demand zone (DZ) to challenge the price. I took profit at two point marked by the red X in the Daily chart.
There are odd enhancers as to why I took this trade, but they are outside the scope of this blog. If you like to learn more about my winning trading strategy that I been practicing for 11 years. Follow my Blog & learn to trade smarter.
SILVER (XAGUSD): Important Key Level to Watch 🪙
Silver is currently testing a key horizontal demand zone.
Taking into consideration that the market is quite oversold after a strong bearish rally,
we may see the pullback from the underlined area.
Your confirmation to buy will be a bullish breakout
of a neckline of a horizontal range on an hourly time frame.
Hourly candle close above 23.2 will confirm the violation,
a pullback will be expected to 23.33 / 23.45 levels then.

Learn the 4 Best Strategies to Maximize Your Profits Today
In the today's article, we will discuss 4 classic yet profitable forex and gold trading strategies.
1️⃣Pullback Trading
Pullback trading is a trend-following strategy where you open the positions after pullbacks.
If the market is trading in a bullish trend, your goal as a pullback trader is to wait for a completion of a bullish impulse and then let the market correct itself. Your entry should be the assumed completion point of a correctional movement. You expect a trend-following movement from there.
In a bearish trend, you wait for a completion of the bearish impulse, let the market retrace, and you look for short-entry after a completion of the retracement leg.
Here is the example of pullback trading.
On the left chart, we see the market that is trading in a bearish trend.
A pullback trader would short the market upon completion of the correctional moves.
On the right chart, I underlined the buy entry points of a pullback trader.
That strategy is considered to be one of the simplest and profitable and appropriate for newbie traders.
2️⃣Breakout Trading
Breakout trading implies buying or selling the breakout of a horizontal structure or a trend line.
If the price breaks a key support, it signifies a strong bearish pressure.
Such a violation will trigger a bearish continuation with a high probability.
Alternatively, a bullish breakout of a key resistance is a sign of strength of the buyers and indicates a highly probable bullish continuation.
Take a look, how the price broke a key daily resistance on a daily time frame. After a breakout, the market retested the broken structure that turned into a support. A strong bullish rally initiated from that.
With the breakout trading, the best entries are always on a retest of a broken structure.
3️⃣Range Trading
Range trading signifies trading the market that is consolidating.
Most of the time, the market consolidates within the horizontal ranges.
The boundaries of the range may provide safe points to buy and sell the market from.
The upper boundary of the range is usually a strong resistance and one may look for shorting opportunities from there,
while the lower boundary of the range is a safe place to buy the market from.
EURCAD pair is trading within a horizontal range on a daily.
The support of the range is a safe zone to buy the market from.
A bullish movement is anticipated to the resistance of the range from there.
Taking into considerations, that the financial instruments may consolidate for days, weeks and even months, range trading may provide substantial gains.
4️⃣Counter Trend Trading
Counter trend trading signifies trading against the trend.
No matter how strong is the trend, the markets always trade in zig-zags. After impulses follow the corrections, and after the corrections follow the impulses.
Counter trend traders looks for a completion of the bullish impulses in a bullish trend to short the market;
and for a completion of bearish impulses in a downtrend to buy it.
Here is the example of a counter trend trade.
EURJPY is trading in a bullish trend. However, the last 3 bearish moves initiated from a rising trend line. For a trader, shorting the trend line was a perfect entry to catch a bearish move.
Such trading strategy is considered to be one of the most complicated, because one goes against the crowd and overall sentiment.
With the experience, traders may combine these strategies.
Try them all, and find the one that suites you the most.
❤️Please, support my work with like, thank you!❤️
Learn the KEY PRINCIPLES of Technical Analysis
In the today's article, we will discuss the absolute basics of trading - 3 key principles of technical analysis.
1️⃣History Repeats
History tends to repeat itself in the Forex market.
Certain trends are cyclical and may reemerge in a predictable manner, certain key levels are respected again and again over time.
Take a look at the example:
Silver perfectly respected a historical horizontal resistance in 2011 that was respected in 1980 already. Moreover, the price action before and after the tests of the underlined zone were absolutely identical.
2️⃣Priced In
All relevant information about a currency pair: economical and political events, rumors, and facts; is already reflected in a price.
When the FED increased the rate 26th of July by 25 bp, EURUSD bounced instead of falling. Before the rate hike, the market was going down on EXPECTATIONS of a rate hike. The release of the news was already price in.
3️⃣Pattern DO Work
Some specific price models can be applied for predicting the future price movements.
Technicians strongly believe that certain formations - being applied and interpreted properly, can give the edge on the market.
Depending on the trading style, different categories of patterns exist: harmonic patterns, price action patterns, wave patterns, candlestick patterns...
Above, I have listed various price action patterns that are applied by many traders and investors as the main tool for analyzing the financial markets.

High vs Low in Time-frame Decisions🕒🚀🕒 Big Timeframes: Imagine looking at a painting from a distance – that's the essence of big timeframes. Daily, weekly, and monthly charts offer a broader view of an asset's performance over extended periods. They help you identify long-term trends and major price movements.
📊 Small Timeframes: Now, picture examining a single brushstroke – that's small timeframes. Hourly and minute charts provide granular details of short-term price action. They're useful for spotting quick trading opportunities and assessing market sentiment in the moment.
💡 Investment Approach: When it comes to investing, consider your goals and risk tolerance. Big timeframes are great for long-term investors who prioritize stability and are willing to ride out market fluctuations. Small timeframes suit traders looking to capitalize on short-term price movements.
🚀 Finding Balance: There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Many investors use a combination of both big and small timeframes. Large timeframes provide context, while small timeframes offer insights into entry and exit points.
So, what's the takeaway from this timeframe comparison? 📈 It's about understanding that different timeframes offer unique insights. Whether you're a patient investor or an active trader, the key is to align your timeframe with your investment strategy.
Stay curious, stay adaptable, and remember – the art of investing involves choosing the canvas that best suits your artistic vision! 🎨🚀
Your ULTIMATE Guide For Time Frames in Trading
If you just started trading, you are probably wondering what time frames to trade. In the today's post, I will reveal the difference between mainstream time frames like daily, 4h, 1h, 15m.
Firstly, you should know that the selection of a time frame primarily depends on your goals in trading.
If you are interested in swing trading strategies, of course, you should concentrate on higher time frames analysis while for scalping the main focus should be on lower time frames.
Daily time frame shows a bigger picture.
It can be applied for the analysis of a price action for the last weeks, months, and even years.
It reveals the historical key levels that can be relevant for swing traders, day traders and scalpers.
The patterns that are formed on a daily time frame may predict long-term movements.
In the picture above, you can see how the daily time frame can show the price action for the last years, months and weeks.
In contrast, hourly time frame reflects intraweek & intraday perspectives.
The patterns and key levels that are spotted there, will be important for day traders and scalpers.
The setups that are spotted on an hourly time frame, will be useful for predicting the intraday moves and occasionally the moves within a trading week.
Take a look at the 2 charts above, the hourly time frame perfectly shows the market moves within a week and within a single day.
4H time frame is somewhere in between. For both swing trader and day trader, it may provide some useful confirmations.
4H t.f shows intraweek and week to week perspectives.
Above, you can see how nicely 4H time frame shows the price action on EURUSD within a week and for the last several weeks.
15 minutes time frame is a scalping time frame.
The setups and levels that are spotted there can be used to predict the market moves within hours or within a trading session.
Check the charts above: 15 minutes time frame shows both the price action within a London session and the price action for the last couple of hours.
It is also critical to mention, that lower is the time frame, lower is the accuracy of the patterns and lower is the strength of key levels that are identified there. It makes higher time frame analysis more simple and reliable.
The thing is that higher is the time frame, more important it is for the market participants.
While lower time frames can help to predict short term moves, higher time frames are aimed for predicting long-term trends.
Trading Lesson 👨🏫#2 - Understanding Consolidations in CryptoIn today's lesson I will explain the difference in consolidations.
Some of you are new to the market and are probably wondering what's happening exactly when it's not moving in price and when it's moving down more than up but would later return to the last price it was.
Well to best answer that question.
It's called consolidation:
It's a thing that happens in the crypto market where waves of prices fluctuate up and down calculating the sells and buys of the market until it meets a point of exit - after consolidating the actual price of the market you're in, and only has two places it can go.
There are two types of consolidation.
The first is where it does a price correction where you have rapid 📉drops or rapid 📈rises.
An lastly is a repeated wave🏄🏼♀️ that can run in the same location for a few hours, sometimes days, give or take how many orders were made within the past few minutes - hours - days - weeks or months.
Consider it like a balloon🎈 being blown into until it 💥pops!💥
Now this is where the problem begins - we don't know where it may go once it's done, could go up or down and when that balloon has popped it's rapidly going there. We could see the 0.00002000 - range within a few hours or just see 0.00000900 range within a few minutes, depending on the orders made for shib and the rest of the market as a whole, this can last for days, weeks depending on the amount of buys or sells.
Also note these are when you get the same surprise jumps like we did in 2021. It started off from the 850's and jumped to the 0.00001300 within a day.
However; right behind it, is a price correction waiting for a peak in the returns to meet its end. Once that happens it'll just fall or rise back to where the price actually suppose to be and starting the process all over again.
You may not know it but there are all forms of consolidations on ever chart from 1 minute to 4 hours to 1 day to 12 months.
You're in a consolidation right now and you don't even know it. Like the ones that occur on a weekly chart, This is what I call "a Seasonal Trend" the day, week, or month, is in a seasonal consolidation and is trending high or low.
But note anything can stop a seasonal trend and disrupt the flow of it, but it will continue the process as long as the damage done was not to bad such as major crashes in a seasonal up trend due to outside interferences such as massive sell-offs, regardless it'll still attempt to rise back because it's in a wave that's trending up-word, if the wave was trending down then it would do way more damage than expected.
But the worst thing to do in a consolidation day - is to sell while it's consolidating, the price may not go no higher or no lower, and if you sell while at a low price in a consolidation you will likely lost position and will have to wait for it to finish to get more shares let alone the original shares, that's if it drops, so best to hold while in a consolidation day, at least until closing.
So I hope this answers anyone question as to why your crypto stock of choice is not moving anywhere, it may not move for hours or even days. you'll just have to wait for closing hour to see if it will pop - hopefully on a positive outcome.
So Happy Trading Everyone
