Internet Computer (IC) is the world’s first blockchain that is capable of running at web speed at unrestrictive capacities. Built by the DFINITY Foundation, IC aims to recreate the web by supporting smart contract development at scale and changing the way people can interact using web services. Internet Computer aims to extend the public internet, so that it can be the world’s computing platform, in a decentralized manner. Internet Computer sets to revolutionalize the design of the crypto economy, with an aim to overhaul traditional software services. The project was founded in October 2016 by Dominic WIllams and have raised a total of $121 million from investors such as Adreessen Horowitz, Polychain Capital, Multicoin Capital and such. On May 10, 2021, DFINITY launched the Internet Computer into the public domain, marking it a major milestone for ICP as it means the internet now functions as a decentralised global computer. This is marked by the release of all of the Internet Computer’s source code into the public domain, as well as ICP utility token that allows tens of thousands of community members to govern the Internet Computer network. ICP is Internet Computer's native token. It plays three prominent roles: Network Governance: Users that participate in the governance will be rewarded with ICPI Production of Cycles for Compute: ICP can be converted into cycles where it is used as the transaction fee to access the network. Cycles are burned after used. Rewarding Users: ICP is used as the rewards to incentivize users to participate in the network such as securing the network. How does ICP work? The decentralised network of ICP is hosted by a series of data centres of multiple nodes. Different nodes from within different data centres are pooled together and referred to as a ‘subnet’. Each subnet can host its own Proof-of-Stake blockchain by using a unique consensus model known as ‘Threshold Relay’. There are two important pillars that charge the operations of ICP forwards: Chain Key Technology: Chain Key Technology is a 48-byte public chain key that enables Internet Computer to operate at web speed, allowing transactions to be finalised in 1-2 seconds. Though this is impressive, this is nevertheless insufficient, because a faster speed is needed to provide competitive user experiences, requiring responses to be provided to users in milliseconds. Chain Key Technology solves this further by splitting smart contract function execution into two types, known as ‘update calls’ and ‘query calls’ – where update calls take 1-2 seconds to finalize and query calls can be executed in milliseconds. Network Nervous System (NNS):The NNS is responsible for managing everything from ICP’s economics and upgrades to network structure. The NNS is hosted within the network itself, and it acts as an autonomous ‘master’ blockchain with a public key to validate transactions in the ICP network. The NNS will also instigate proposals to a vote, such as the onboarding of new node machines, which are then voted upon by users who have their ICP tokens locked up. NNS is essentially the governance system whereas neurons represent the voting power. How does ICP differ from other coins? One of ICP’s objectives was to solve the scaling problems experienced by Ethereum, without compromising on security or decentralisation. For example, EOS has previously been criticized for such a compromise. Internet Computer claims that it can finalise transactions in 1 to 2 seconds. This fares far beyond Bitcoin’s 10-minute duration and Ethereum’s 15-second duration (depending on network traffic). The Internet Computer claims to have a block rate of 2.5 blocks per second (bps), with the expectation of improving it till 1,000 bps by end of the year 2021. Importantly, ICP addresses a problem far beyond merely solving Ethereum’s shortcomings as its wider objectives are to take on the $370 billion cloud computing market, and decentralize the public internet wholly. Will the recent scam wick repeat or can we hold the trendline?At this moment there is 40/60 chance of us dropping to 40$ range like week ago or holding the new trend line after yesterdays breakout. The chart looks exactly the same, but what's better this time is, that we did break above downtrend and EMAS are crossing as a bullish sign which did not happen last time and if we can keep 48$ then the drop is invalidated. The price is squeezed into a corner. The denouement will happen soon. Zones of levels from which further trend development depends on are indicated with arrows. Who has some basic knowledge of gematria and is familiar with the beliefs of non-public "religions", I think noticed the message about numerical values of levels. This is observed only for a few known highly liquid crypto-assets ( BTC ETH XRP XLM ATOM BCH TRX ), apparently the "owners" of ICP are from this fraternity. This indirectly makes it clear that this cryptocurrency has "immunity from vaporization" and certain people have a non-speculative plan for it. ICP broke out of long downtrend + EMA 50 and 180 soon to cross!Last night i had a nightmare that ICP dropped to 20$, and its good that nightmares don't come true. As of this moment ICP has broken out of 2 month long downtrend and if today we stay above 48$ and don't fall back to 43$, then the 50 day and 180 day Exponential moving average lines will cross for first time since 6 august(3months ago), at that point we can see a good uptrend to 80$+ Fingers crossed and keep it safe. 🔥 ICP Copying SHIBA? Massive Break Out PotentialIn this analysis I want to dig deeper into a recent discovery I made. When laying the charts next to each other there are several similarities. 1) When the tokens first started trading on Binance, there was a huge, multi week sell-off that occurred. Both tokens lost 80%-90% of their first daily closing value 2) Both tokens had a very long period of accumulation. During this accumulation period price action was very limited and volume was low. 3) SHIBA saw one major candle on Oct 4th that launched the price out of this accumulation period. This candle was the starting moment of an almost 600% rally. A candle like that for ICP could be the start of a rally like that. ICP is still in this period of accumulation. We saw some nice price action today, but nothing is signaling a break out of the accumulation period, yet. I'm waiting for a strong daily candle which will bring us above $80 before trying to ride the wave. The price has been suppressed for a very long time, so when the price finally goes it will explode to the upside. Naturally, this is a very speculative analysis. However, the similarities are certainly there. Keep an eye out for big daily ICP candles, since it might signal another "SHIBA-move". Happy trading!

ICP is beginning its ascend to the promised land with a breakoutGreetings ICP believers! :-) After a convincing breakout from the trendline ceiling of a 2-month long range ICP is ready to take off. RSI made a bullish bounce from the 50 level. There are three higher bottoms in RSI . Price action will likely attack levels of previous September run between 62 and 85 and if it holds there it may go to 120 region where 4-month long trendline positioned on top of all the chart highs forms a resistance. T1: 62 T2: 68 T3: 85 T4: 124 What to look for after $124? If price action breaks over the trendline the 150 level is next and we may quite possibly see $190-200 just on time for Christmas, although that's a bit optimistic. My personal view is that #InternetComputer is one of the soundest projects out there (motoko code, team, speed, scalability, rate of adoption by developers) and has the potential to reach top 3 in market cap.

ICP/USD - First target hit! Can it got to $100?🚀ICP did not disappoint. After some choppy price action ICP finally pumped with a great candle today that took us to the first target as already indicated in my last ICP idea. :) This level at $55 should server as a temporary resistance, but eventually it will break to take ICP higher. The more relevant target is just under $100 which is a great psychological level and also a key resistance on this chart.
