TAP flushed on a good earnings beat into support LONGTAP appears to to have fallen into support on a good earnigns beat Perhaps traders were
expecting a better beat. It is now 15% below the resistance zone where shorts will take
positions and longs will sell- off. TAP has sales and consumer loyalty in its brands. It is
free of the controversies that had bogged BUD down. I see this as an opportunity to get a
decent stock at a discount. My target is 62 at the half way point has designated by the fib tool.

LCID falling down on weak revenue LONGLCID is in a falling wedge pattern again on the 30 minute chart. Eventually it will break out over
the pattern. It has been in a simlar pattern in the recent past. This is now basically a tall bear
flag in its consolidation portion. While price could go even lower, reversion to the mean says
that it will retrace. The Fib tool suggests 3.35 over an intermediate term. LCID has a rich
uncle in Saudi Arabia and its wealth fund. Most certainly, they will accumulate heavily at this
price level. Shorts will buy to cover once there is a saturation of buying and price action
follows in keeping with Wychoff's theory. The mass index has signaled a reversal. I will dip buy
this like the SA traders and add to the position once some bullish momentum is seen.
CMCM could chasing a Chinese internet stock be profitable? LONGCMCM is on fire with a 90% gain since the earnings report which was not verified by any
outside forensic accounting auditors . The Ciniese economy may be recovering with it
Cheetah.
The price-volume trend is impressive in the past month as a combination of the price moving
up responding to spikes of buying volume and positive volatility. I will enter this as a small
position chasing the momentum using a trailing ATR stop loss currently $.25 per share.
Since I will risk $25 in the trade for this small position I can take 100 shares as a long position.
I will continue to watch for selected Chinese stocks responding to the economic recovery to
exploit for gain.
STRO a biotech startup flips into positive earnings LONGSTRO on a 240 minute chart got trader interest out of earnings that were projected to be net
cash outflow into reported actual earnings. This is a remarkable turnaround. The RSI lines
surged. The predictive algorithm which relies on a lookback of the regression line for analysis
toward the future forecasts a move up much higher. I will take a long trade here seeking 50-60%
in a month although the forecast is for a doubling.
BCAB post earnings is set up LONGBCAB a medical technology penny stock had a good beat on earnings. This means the cash
burn was only 70% of what was expected. On the strength of that traders reached. The
indicators suggest more upside including RSI lines crossing over the 50 level and the MACD
lines bouncing up on the approach to the zero horizontal line. The supply and demand curves
crossed. The Luxalgo predictive algorithm doing a pattern lookback analysis has a trend up.
I will take a long trade here attempting to get a good piece of the move for realized profit.
MRVL has a melt-down trader reaction to mediocre earnings LONGMRVL on the 2H chart had been in a trend up since February 29th when it broke out of the
high volume area of the profile in a pre-earnings run . Earnings were reported and MRVL
more or less matched the analyst's forecasts. Price sold-off in the aftermath of trader
disappointment. I held a large position of both shares and options but sold off half of
the positions two days ago to capture some profits. I see MRVL as still above VWAP
and so in buying territory and now at a price level supported by the first upper anchored
VWAP line as well as the upper boundary of the high volume area. It is a strong stock which
I do not believe will make a full Fibonacci retracement. I will now add back into my
position half of what I sold a few days ago. and expect a bullish continuation. On a lower
time frame, I have guidance from the inside bars that price is printing in the after hours.
When regular trading arrives on Friday, I will buy call options for mid-April striking
$85 (OTM).
JAN on watch for bullish continuation LONGJAN had earnings but I cannot find the report. It is trading with heavy volume and it shows in
the price action. Price has pulled back in the after-market in a standard Fibonacci retracement.
A pullback is appropriate here as price has gained 250% in a month. I see the pullback
as healthy and JAN is now well positioned for another bullish continuation. Volatility
and volume supports the conclusion. I will set a stop loss at 10% and targets at 50%, 75% and
100% to take partial profits on an anticipated trend up. Alerts will be set onto a set of
moving averages on the 30 minute time frame to detect death cross unders. Once profit is
hits 10% I will change the stop loss to a trailing 10% stop loss and once above 75% make the
trailing loss 5% and once over 100% change it to 3% so I can let the trade run itself from
those orders.
GE has a solid ongoing trend higher LONGGE on a 240 minute chart shows an anchored VWAP and volume profile both anchored back into
October and a price action breakout beginning after the November earnings report and
sustained through the early February earnings report. Both reports showed significant beats
on earnings as well as good beats on revenue. I see GE as a solid long term long swing trade
into at least the next earnings in about ten weeks. Another approach aside investing is
a long term call option more than one year out to capture the tax advantage of the long- term
capital gains tax rate. I will zoom into a 30 minute time frame and go long with the best
entry of a pivot low.
GTLB a software company dives on an earnings beat LONGGTLB did a deep dive shaving 20% off its market cap after the earnings report. I see this
big dip as a buying opportunity for a software company stock at a significant discount more or
less ignoring the adverse forward guidance as fluff or purposeful misleading of investors
and traders to create a bit of a bear trap from which to launch a squeeze to propel the price
action. More details on the chart. I will go long here and expect to gain 10-15% with a little
patience. The general market downturn helped GTLB fall and then reversal of the general
market will give tailwind to the return trip. Targets are on the chart based on the high volume
trading range on the volume profile.
MVIS Microvision breaks higher from earnings LONGMVIS is a volatile penny stock with daily volumes in the 20JK range and a low float. Yesterday
was a decent earnings beat. MVIX was already trending up into the earnings and now may
sustain that trend up. Volatility and volume indicator support my supposition that the trend
is real. The target of the consolidation period of February 8-13's price level of 2.58 is
13 % upside. I espect this to be a long swing trade lasting a few days. Upon reaching the
target I will take half the position to realize that part of the profit and run the rest.
SNOW - buy the disappointment discount sale LONGSNOW beat the earnings estimates by 150% and slightly exceeded revenue estimates. Price
dropped in printing a bear flag in a 22% move yesterday at the close. Buying from the bottom
has begun and I have the idea that I should join. My pre-earnings play was closed going into the
earnings in the high liquidity that proceeds it. I got my ask price on that position. The chart
shows today's buyng volume and volatility. On the slow resumption of bullish price action, I have
taken a long trade from the near bottom after this morning's reversal and call options
ITM for the July monthy.
VERX ATH on Earnings LONGVERX on the 15 minute chart demonstrates printing a high tight bull flag pattern in its
bullrun after the earnings report was a two line beat much like the one a quarter ago.
VERX has impressed traders including this one who got in on the ride early. I will trade
this like others recently with a similar pattern. I will hold during the consolidation and
watch for a break above the flag regression channel. I will add upon the break and
set a trailing stop loss of 5% upon a rise of another 5% keeping the profits safe while
underway. See my ideas on SOUN DUOL, VTYX and a few others. Review the link to
the pattern description here. See also my swing long trade ideas for this sector XBI and LABU.
DIS moves higher in realtive strength LONGDisney had an excellent earnings report last week. Today it is moving off its support of the
moving average cloud on the chart and going higher on a day when the general market is
sideways at best. A table shows its strength as compared with other commonly traded stocks.
I will take a long trade here and perhaps hold it until the next earnings.
GRPN on a one month breakout LONGThis is to follow up my previous idea on Groupon. On the 2H chart, price is in a one month
sustained breakout from the volume profile and into the upper VWAP band lines both anchored
for end of 2023. The faster green RSI line crossed the 50 about the same time and basically
has not looked down. The slower RSI line has slowly risen from 55 to 65. This is in the consumer
discretionary sector and hot necessarily hinged to technology stocks. I see this as rock-solid
as it gets. I will load more shares now and also load more ona dip There was a big earnings
miss in November and then Goldman Sachs raised its target from 5 to 7.5 which seems like
a big adjustment after an earnings miss. I suppose GS knows their stuff.
ROKU- Bearish Divergence gives guidance LONGROKU sold off after okay not great earnings- obviously a large number of market participants
took their money off the table and moved it elsewhere. There was a typical or excessive price
run-up in the pre-earnings period. This chart set in a 15-minute time frame as well as 15
minute time frame on the RSI laid onto the main chart shows bullish divergence which
otherwise might be subtle. It is the key to the trade entry. It is saying get on the train before
it leaves the station. Chasing the train is a futile endeavor fraught with failure and
frustration. ( Yes, the hot tip is boldfaced for emphasis) Price is sideways at this time. The
relative volume indicator shows a huge 4X surge in volumes at the consolidated bottom verifying
it as such. This is Wychoff's theory in action for sure.
I am now part of that volume. I am an avid bottom buyer like many others. I take great
pains to analyse for the bottom, unlike some others who run on gut or sentiment.
I hope you find this analysis helpful. If you do, please give me a thumbs up. Once you have,
feel free to ask as to the specifics of my trading plan now implimented.
