About to get stoned...Shares of TLRY, and many other pot stocks for that matter, have been on fire lately. While I've made good money along the ride, its just getting ridiculous at this point. This company went public exactly 2 months ago today.. the IPO price was $17. In 8 weeks time, it's up over 1300%! That's incredible for those that got in early, but its a clear sign of ignorance to be chasing it up here now. If you aren't taking at least some profits, you're either greedy or mentally ill. While I think there's a lot of growth potential in the weed space, as evidenced by companies like STZ and KO getting invested, people need to be patient and let the prices come back down to earth. I'm actually shorting this thing via long put options (the options are pricey, too!). Specifically, I bought Sept. 28 $55's in one account, and longer dated October $120's in another. Yes, it's ballsy move, but this blowout volume today may be a capitulation point. Take a step back and smoke a blunt or 6 while you wait for this thing's buzz to wear off! And please don't be an idiot and chase this thing up here!

Marijuana the next Bitcoin?Hello friends, I've only just discovered these parabolic pot stocks and am very interested in trading them when I see some technical setups. I wouldn't be surprised if this is crypto pt. 2 . Like with crypto, there is value here, but it's a complete bubble. Will be looking to short the hell out of these at some point - not today though. Elon Musk: Apparent pot-smoking, smokes TESLA's share price. Just to be 100% clear, I have not determined what Elon Musk was smoking on the Roe Jogan show. Media sources say it was pot. Video and audio evidence suggests that Musk knew or was led to believe that it was a cigar containing marijuana that about he was about to smoke. It is not clear if this was a prank. He smoked what he was offered. If it was a prank it was misguided. The point is that markets react to this sort of thing. It's about perception and human psychology - well 'beyond technical analysis'. There may be a limited opportunity to exploit any probability that the one-hour time frame gap could be be closed. Risky - I'm not in it on the one hourly time frame. Tesla's move south may have nothing to do with the 'incident'. Overall 'tech' stocks in the USA have been taking a beating. The FANGS have been taking a beating as international trade tensions hit home. I'm short on APPL - and at no-loss position.

We assume we finished 5 step Elliot’s cycle. Waiting for rebound to buy cheaper. Secondly not much volume involved ex. Bittrex 64 BTC/24h. Not much ha? So our advice is wait till we finish correction wave ABC. We can also count on bouncing from Kijun-Sen (violet line) when observing Ichimoku cloud. This is also worth watching. Observe also when chart crosses Tenkan-Sen (red line) In order to be super safe you can sell now and wait till we bounce off from the level of 0.00001344 (previous max) and we break peak from May which is at 0.00001497. We can also face cup with handle shape. Time will tell. So that is our strategy. Will you go for it? Stay vigilant and observe key levels as mentioned above. Don’t panic, don’t be too emotional. BLEVF may rise after pot legalization vote in CanadaThere was a vote scheduled earlier this year for legalization which was later rescheduled. Rumor has it that there were not enough votes to pass initially, which may have contributed to some kind of reschedule. This measure is estimated to potentially create a 4 billion annual industry in Canada, and the sentiment is that it will pass over the next few hours. BELVF fell hard after the prior vote was rescheduled, resulting in a nice boost in volume and a recovery in May after bouncing off of it's mid/long term ascending trend line (in light blue on the chart). We have since seen a consolidation over past weeks in what I think is an anticipation of a positive outcome on the ballot. I expect a rise as per the charts with some stops/consolidations/tests of resistances and fib levels on the way up.

Bullish butterfly pattern nn PNTV chart with target zonesAfter pointing out the pattern on twitter, I was asked where I see it going. I wasn't able to find much online as far as common targets for the butterfly pattern, other than points A and C. I used a common technique often used with other harmonic patterns to map out other significant resistance zones(drew a fib extension from point X to A, back down to X, then moved the bottom of it to point D). The XA leg added on top of point D is a common target for most harmonic patterns I've researched so far. Beyond that, the 1.27-1.68, 2.27-2.68, and so on are also common targets if bullish momentum continues. It just so happens that the 4.27 matches up perfectly with a very long-term trend line...
