Challenging Market. Slightly Green Though! - 06/25/20 RECAPHi traders, Today was hard. Market gapped DOWN but soon found support at long-term moving averages, then basically stayed 3 hours in RANGE and in the last hour jumped UP. Just crazy and far from ideal for an intraday trader. That's why I was very happy with even small profit and called it a day after 3 trades. No point swimming against the current if you can wair for another day. Why Is It Actually BETTER If You Missed The Drop -06/24/20 RECAPHi traders, SPY was dropping nicely thorough the day and although I took 2 nice shorts, I could've made much much more. BUT I think we shouldn't really be upset. Why? Because moves like these happen maybe once or twice a month on average. That means if you adjust your management style to these types of days, you'll be getting stopped out more often during more "normal" days in the market. It's just not worth it. I Could've Risked Less And Made MORE! (what?) - 06/08/20 RECAPHi traders, Starting the week in slight green, which is nice! However, in my (only) MRVL trade I played it "safe" again with distant SL and it actually cost me money! Had I had it closer, my target would've been also closer and I'd walked away with +2%! Ending with a nice positive number and sticking to the plan. LB eventually went far beyond my TP, but it was showing weakness at one point so I played it safe. Going Long in AIRLINES?! - 05/04/20 RECAPHi traders, Being bullish in UAL the very next day the world got to know Warren Buffet's failed investment seems like a crazy idea. But being a technical trader, I saw an opportunity and it paid off! My trade: 1) UAL - LONG @24.52, SL 24.22, after dropping for the third consecutive day and showing a beautiful Cup and Handle formation, this was a clear long play. +1.53% *In my ID trades, I risk 1% of the account per trade and go for 2% (2:1 RRR ). One GREAT Trade a Day Is All You Need - DT RECAP 04/27/20Hi traders, Today I kind of repeated Friday - only one trade, but a great winner! If you take a look at the ticker, I could've got +4% out of it. Am I mad? NO!! I already got way more than I aimed for. Greed will not make you profitable. My trade: 1) NYSE:C - LONG @45.02 , I was cautious about the 45.60 area of the previous swing high, but seeing Citigroup's strength and overall markets upwards direction led me to hold it even further. +2.82% *In my ID trades, I risk 1% of the account per trade and go for 2% (2:1 RRR ). Daytrading RECAP 04/08/20 - 3 Longs & 1 Short for +1.6%!Hi traders, Tom with another recap here. *In my ID trades, I risk 1% of the account per trade and go for 2% (2:1 RRR ). Sometimes I adapt a little bit as you can see in the description.* I switched to video recaps so you can see the charts in greater detail. Let me know if you like it! Four trades today: 1) UPS - LONG @95.04, stopped out at 94.27 for a little under -1% 2) T - SHORT @29.62, closed half at 2:1 and the rest at B/E (messed that up). Total profit a bit over +1% 3) NVAX - LONG @16.75, closed half at 2:1 and let the rest run some more, closed just before 18 for a total of +2.5%! 4) PINS - LONG @16.9, the stock couldn't hold the pressure and collapsed into my SL @16.4 for -1% Total PnL for the day: +1.6% Total PnL for the week: +2.05% In hindsight, I left money on the table with T and should've reversed PINS after it stopped me out and showed big pressure to the downside. RECAP: Now this is a slightly more unorthodox setup for us. We've seen the volatility index this week, we know that our Total index is still pushing lower to test our next demand, we know this news has everyone shook, but we will remain strong and keep destroying this volatility ... Because we are doubling at the bottom, making a new low on the (weekly bitfinex chart) I just want to see what kind of momentum we can play with today and maybe the next few days.
