After a long trade in the area, xrp fell 35%, broke through the $0.65 support level, gathered liquidity below the $0.52 level, and bounced back to the $0.65 level. The price has now squeezed near that resistance level. I think the price could break this resistance level and move up into the value area, I am now looking for entry opportunities. On the back of twin legal victories last week as part of pre-trial discovery, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and chairman Chris Larsen are asking a judge to dismiss the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s lawsuit against them permanently. According to legal filings on April 12, Garlinghouse and Larsen have submitted motions to U.S. District Court Judge Analisa Torres to dismiss the SEC’s first amended complaint against them with prejudice. If granted, it would end the lawsuit against them and prevent the SEC from refiling the same charges in the future. “The SEC is straining to invoke a World War II-era precedent about orange groves to the nascent technology around digital assets and blockchain. It does not work in this case, and this effort to destroy Ripple Labs Inc. (“Ripple”), a vibrant U.S. company that has spent years working to develop technology to make cross-border payments faster, cheaper, and more reliable, will be dealt with on summary judgment,” stated Garlinghouse’s attorneys in their preliminary statement, which called the lawsuit “the SEC’s extraordinary decision to sue individuals in the face of years of regulatory uncertainty about how it would try to regulate this new technology.” In their statement, Larsen’s attorneys said: “The SEC seeks to re

Ripple price rejected at $0.75, can this crucial support hold? Ripple's massive breakout hit a critical barrier at $0.75, capitulating short-term holders. Ripple must hold the 50 SMA or $0.34 key levels to avert potential losses toward $0.3. Closing the day above $0.4 could see XRP jump toward $1 as investors’ stream back to the market. XRP flew the bullish flag above the cryptocurrency horizon from late last week, the weekend session, and on February 1. It was a perfect storm (staying in an elongated consolidation) for Ripple’s community. Our analyses in the previous weeks had predicted a breakout to $0.5. However, Ripple proved it a conservative target, hitting levels of $0.75 for the first time in 2021. At the time of writing, XRP is doddering at $0.38 after a sudden sharp fall from the February 1 highs of $0.75. The support anticipated at $0.7 and $0.4 failed to rise to the occasion, leaving bears completely in control. In the meantime, the 50 Simple Moving Average has come in handy, limiting a breakdown under $0.34. It is essential that this support holds, otherwise, XRP may continue with the freefall back to the dominating levels in January (between $0.25 and $0.3). The Moving Average Convergence Divergence continues to reinforce the pessimistic outlook, especially now that the MACD line has crossed under the signal line. In other words, recovery will not be a walk in the park and more losses will come into the picture before buyers can control the cross-border token. A comprehensive glance upward suggests that Ripple may soon renew the uptrend if the price closes the day above $0.4. Such a move would call for more buy orders as investors rush back to the market in anticipation of another run-up toward $1. XRP - Our updated small chart (Bearish outlook)So further to yesterdays idea, the opposite happened. I was expecting an opportunity for the price to break under the triangle and then UP....but it broke UP and it looks ready to storm down.. so, be careful because the 25 cents level can be checked again and likely broken down to even 14 cents. It is what it is guys, don't marry an asset, go in and out...and right now I am totally out of Ripple. Will let you know if something changes.
