the TSLA Rocket rideRemember when AAPL used to go up heavily on news... like the "leak" of a new iPhone design or the promise of something cool? It was such a fan-boi stock.
Trading TESLA has been much of the same... but it seems the news announcements have often been structural rather than just more of the same kind of stuff they've been doing.
The announcements they've made or milestones they've been hitting have been mostly fundamental rather than... "Oh look a new Model Y color!"
The next fundamental shift will be:
1. They have vertically integrated battery manufacturing into their production lineup, drastically reducing the cost of the most expensive item in their vehicles, thus increasing profit margin while at the same time reducing cost to consumer by lowering price.
2. Solid State batteries. If they crack this puzzle they win. Hands down. Full stop.
