Signal Stream - AUDCHF Long SignalJust now getting some time to sit down and make a few posts. There have been a number of excellent signals generated lately. ** Note - lines were drawn by me. The vertical lines are where the signal generated, and the horizontal lines are initial close range targets. This pair has been ranging strongly in the past few weeks. A long signal appeared towards the bottom of the range, one of the strongest setups for Signal Stream trades. Initial close range target for this trade fell roughly in the middle of the trading range at 0.73513 In situations like this I tend to stay content with my initial target and close out the trade once the level is reached. Given that we're in a range, price could just as easily move back against us. What I really mean to say by that is that I don't expect to have huge trades running in my direction forever by these types of trades. But they really do work quite well with initial targets. However, we received a counter trend signal from Signal Stream. I generally take these trades, but I am much more cautious with them and close out once initial close range target is hit. As you can see clearly, our initial target lined up nicely with S/R at 1.70905, and the market rallied enough to meet it before resuming its trend down. There are many ways to trade Signal Stream. Signal Stream - USDCAD Long SignalJust now getting some time to sit down and make a few posts. There have been a number of excellent signals generated lately. ** Note - lines were drawn by me. USDCAD has been ranging recently, with a long signal appearing a few days ago towards the bottom of it. This trade was fairly straight forward. The initial close range target was at 1.30267, which lined up nicely with the top of the trading range. Price moved up to reach our target, and has continued to range since. Price is currently considering the 1.3000 level, which is significant for this pair. The 1.3000 S/R level was very clearly established by prices back in 2003/4 and strong resistance in 2008/9. Furthermore, price in the last two years seems to be hovering around this level, ranging around and coming back to it. In addition to the strong horizontal S/R level we're at, price is also sitting on an ascending trend line formed by lows back in January and April. Support has has been holding, and while I personally am waiting for more clear long signals on this currency, I will definitely be taking the recent downtrend and Signal Stream signals into account. Signal Stream - USDJPY Short SignalsJust now getting some time to sit down and make a few posts. There have been a number of excellent signals generated lately. ** Note - lines were drawn by me. The vertical lines are where the signal generated, and the horizontal lines are initial close range targets. USDJPY has been in a longer term uptrend since March / April, and while there have been strong short term moves down during that time, I don't expect huge bearish moves on each short signal. A short signal appeared in the middle of a short term range. There was enough supply to move price to the bottom of the range and hit the initial close range target at 110.881. Price rose sharply after hitting the target and has slowly been making it's way back down. Another short signal appeared recently, and price has been slowly moving towards target, 111.262. This target also coincides with some moderate support levels. Given the weird ranging of this pair lately, I would look to take immediate profits once price reaches target. Signal Stream - NZDUSD Short SignalJust now getting some time to sit down and make a few posts. There have been a number of excellent signals generated lately. ** Note - lines were drawn by me. The vertical lines are where the signal generated, and the horizontal lines are initial close range targets. NZDUSD has been strongly ranging sideways for the last month. A short signal appeared in the upper portion of this range, but not quite the top. Given the strong range we've been in, it was very probably that price would move against us to continue exploring that resistance level. Ultimately price rejected that level and dropped back down, now stalling near the bottom of the range around 0.67250. In addition to the strong horizontal S/R level we're at, price is also sitting on an long term ascending trend line, established by lows in 2009 and 2015. Screenshot below. Support has has been holding, but I am definitely neutral. I am looking for strength signals, however it's possible for price to break strongly to the down side. Signal Stream - LTCUSD Short SignalJust now getting some time to sit down and make a few posts. There have been a number of excellent signals generated lately. ** Note - lines were drawn by me. The vertical lines are where the signal generated, and the horizontal lines are initial close range targets. This was a pretty straight forward signal on LTCUSD. Nice short signal appeared close to the top of an S/R zone around 85.00. Price hit the initial close range target and like ETHUSD continued to drop, stalling around the 72.00 level. Also like ETHUSD, LTCUSD is at a significant S/R level going back to the June and July, which was initially established way further back in November and December of last year. Support has has been holding, and while I personally am waiting for a clear long signal on this currency, I will definitely be taking the recent downtrend and Signal Stream signals into account. Signal Stream - EURNZD Short Signal UPDATEOriginal Idea published here: After the signal appeared on EURNZD at 1.7172, price immediate moved in the opposite direction. After a slight draw down and strong rejection of the 1.7300 resistance level, price ranged before making its way down to meet our close range target, stated in the original Idea, at 1.7150. The market moved a bit lower before finding support at 1.7130. Price has tested this level multiple times, appearing to want to break further down to lower prices. In this type of situation - given that we had price move against us at first and that we are at a strong S/R level, I would suggest taking the close range target profit and staying out until further signs of weakness, or if you're willing to take on a bit more risk, at least moving stop to break even. But that's just my two cents and it's certainly not the only way to trade these signals. There are many ways to trade Signal Stream. Signal Stream - CADJPY Follow Up, Playing the Long Game(Horizontal lines and blue arrow placed by me, red arrow placed by script) I want to take another moment to focus on knowing and trusting your trading edge and having the discipline to sticking to your trading plan. This short signal on CADJPY triggered before I launched Signal Stream here on TradingView. I've been waiting patiently for it to make its moves. The short signal came in on July 11 at 84.579 (red line). It took 13 days and a good bit of draw down before it hit its close range target at 84.379 (blue line). I always mention in my posts that there are many ways to trade Signal Stream signals, and it's true. I also mention that the signals are highly reliable with a very high chance of hitting their close range targets, and it's true. This isn't the largest or longest draw down I've sat through, but it doesn't make it any easier. Sitting through draw down is the worst, mentally. But if you know your edge, trade it with discipline, and trust yourself and your system, it makes it a bit easier. It allows you to plan and be prepared for how the market decides to move, because, to be quite honest, the market doesn't care what you think. I can't emphasize each of those points enough. I skipped around from system to system for years before I finally found my edge. I've had a chance to interalize all my experience and knowledge. Sitting down and getting familiar with a trading system isn't enough. You have to know the intricacies and subtleties of it. You have to sit and apply your system to charts, watch how price moves before and after a signal. It's important. Signal Stream - CHFJPY Follow Up, Trust yourself and your systemI wanted to circle back around to this trade to emphasize the power of Signal Stream and why I personally take small trades and ride out draw down with my system, but mainly I wanted to make a point on the power of knowing and trusting your trading system. As you can see since the short signal on the CHFJPY chart, price moved up into draw down, then moved back down and hit the profit target of 112.05 before falling a touch further and stalling at a support level of 111.90. I've said it in pretty much every post: Signal Stream signals have an extremely high chance of hitting their targets, even if price moves against it. I've held tremendous draw downs that eventually came into profits. I am able to do so because I take smaller trades, allowing me to take the draw down and also have enough equity in my account to take other trades, which further lessens the hit of a draw down. But that's how I trade, and no two traders are alike. There are differences in mindset, risk appetite, and experience to consider. That being said, how I trade is only one way to trade Signal Stream. There are countless other ways and trade management methods you can employ. I've worked with it enough to trust the signals, even if they move against me at first. Trust your system, trust yourself.

Signal Stream - CHFJPY Long SignalSorry for the delayed post, I have been away from my laptop the past couple days. I will be posting all signals, not just cherry picking. A long signal appeared on CHFJPY a while back at 112.76, and it went on to immediately hit it's short term target. I generally take on very small positions for close range targets and ride out any drawdown (even extremely large drawdown). But I do want to point out the short signal that appeared before it at 112.24, as this is the reason I ride out drawdown. Price went into drawdown, but has since come back down and that trade (at the moment) is right now at break even. Price has stalled at a minor S/R level, but I anticipate that it will fall down to the 112.00 level, which is in line with my close range targets for signals generated by this indicator. Furthermore, I would like to use this example as exactly my reason why I trade small positions and take every signal, as it gives me the ability to ride out the drawdown, and still have the ability to take trades and profits on other pairs. However, there are many ways to trade Signal Stream. Signal Stream - GBPJPY Short SignalA short signal appeared on GBPJPY at 145.92. The signal appeared after a significant downtrend occured. In situations like this, it's a good idea to trade conservatively, especially given that price is hovering around a longer term S/R level. I look to take profits at close range targets, for me that level is 145.72, which lines up with the close range support level. The total move was close to 50 pips, before price moved back up. Price moved up and reached a moderate S/R level around 146.25, and has stalled at it in the short term. Given that we have been in a recent downtrend, I would look for further signs of weakness.
