Flowtech - Go with the floBuy Flowtech Fluidpower (FLO.L)
Flowtech Fluidpower plc is a United Kingdom-based distributor of technical fluid power products. The Company operates through two divisions: Flowtechnology, which is geographically split into Flowtechnology UK (FTUK) and Flowtechnology Benelux (FTB), and Power Motion Control (PMC). FTUK and FTB focus on supplying distributors and resellers of industrial maintenance, repair and operation (MRO) products, primarily serving urgent orders rather than bulk offerings. The PMC division is engaged in the design and assembly of engineering components and hydraulic systems, which are managed by component supply along with a service and repair function.
Market Cap: £64.98Million
Flowtech is trading in a neat range between 98.5p to 165.5p on the daily chart. The company pays a dividend, which is quite rare of a small cap business. The recent ex-dividend date has been shrugged off with no real impact on the share price. There is an unfilled gap at 120.5p, which is our first target, beyond that we believe the share price could climb towards 149.5p, then 165.5p.
Stop: 95p
Target 1: 120p
Target 2: 149p
Target 3: 165p

Bango has formed a bottom pattern on the daily chart. The double bottom completed on the move above resistance at 130p. We have major resistance around 198.5p, which also lines up with the 61.8% Fibonacci resistance level at 192.5p. We expect to see the short term sequence of higher highs and higher lows continue.
Stop: 115p
Target: 192.5p

US Small Caps with a nice Chance to Risk play on the short sideI am expecting that a bigger 5 wave move to the upside has been finished in the US Small Cap Index. Therefore we should see a corrective ABC move to the downside with the C wave still to come. This setup is valid as long as we don't make any new ATH, should we move over the 76.4% retracement this setup already becomes questionable, however at the moment it looks well intact.

IWM continues to HOLD supportIWM is within a 2 year channel with distinct points.
Lower end (red arrows) around $144-$145
Upper end (black arrows) around $160
Highlighted areas are times in which we breached those areas.
Yesterday the IWM traded down as low as $144.25, buyers stepped in to drive the ETF up.
Buyers have stepped into and bought around that area for the past 2 years.
Solid support.
Resistance of $160 is just as solid.
Greatland Gold - Small cap gold miner about to rally?Been watching this lately as it has been appearing in my scans. The trading volume appears to have been quite consistent in recent weeks and trend of higher lows is encouraging.
The close above the 10 EMA is a cue to buy and target the resistance above.
Target: 2.55p
Stop: 1.644p
Small caps outperforming as the bottom falls out of the marketDonald Trump's announcement of new tariffs and the Fed's signal that we will only get one rate cut this year have sent indices tumbling. Rising from the chaos are small cap stocks. The last few days, EWSC rose against the S&P and got a big surge in volume relative to the volume in the large cap space. A volume surge like this in small caps often signals the beginning of an extended small cap run.
EYPT | Range bound Long-Term pattern suggests that after previous dilution, Eyepoint's stock price went range bound for quite awhile before breaking out.
This marks potential accumulation range for anyone looking to build a position in EYPT.
Ranges make for good swing trade positions (especially 20%+ both ways) and a way to average down.
Range low/ highs, range from $1.42 - $1.87 is approximately $0.45 of profit both ways up (~20%+) until EYPT confirms they are adhering to terms of loan with CRG.
Weekly MACD and Stochastics have divergence with stock price. This could infer spring board type action on good news (break below range could cause problems).
Previous quarter showed that $EYPT was on track w/ meeting terms of CRG loan agreement.
positive earning/ ER beat should help satisfy some hedge funds/ big $ investors. I remain cautiously optimistic.
$EYPT could potentially come and test lows of the range within next week. I am looking to use this as a way to add to current position/ swing trade it to highs and lower cost basis on my long-position.
**On the other hand, falling below this range could cause knee jerk reaction/ selloff. I am going to be watching this carefully.
Tip # 7: When trading, It is very important to have a game plan. It is good practice to establish rules to your system (i.e. do you buy in increments?, at what point do you not like the investment anymore? how long are you willing to hold?).

Akerna $KERN Coming In That Buy Zone. Fresh IPO (kind of).Akerna coming into that buy zone. Stock IPOed (actually it was a SPAC) at around $11 after doing their last private placement at $10.21. As this is a recent IPO (of sorts) and a cannabis company, I expect this will eventually shake out at 2x the IPO price (around $20) so buy on dips.
Why 2x IPO price? Look at high flyers Zoom $ZM, Beyond Meat $BYND, Crowdstrike $CRWD, all trading at about 2x IPO price, based on hype, growing markets, and sales growth.
Akerna is Cloud + Payments + Cannabis. They have an ERP software for cannabis supply chain / growers / dispensaries. All the buzzwords. Not sure 100% if the company has a legit future (need to do more research), but certainly I think this thesis is enough to put it on your watchlist.

$IWM $RUT - Small Caps Under PressureAs the trade war heats up, risky assets are getting hammered, and one area where this is evident is in small cap stocks.
On a technical basis, small cap stocks have been deteriorating. Since May, prices have fallen below both the 10-Day and 50-Day EMAs, with a deteriorating MACD to back it up . Furthermore, prices have suffered from lower highs and lower lows since that same time, with no relief in sight.
We believe that as the geopolitical landscape becomes more hostile, and global macro pressures mount, there will be more downside for the $RUT in the near term.

RTY1!, All Eyes on Small CapsHere is a dissected daily chart of Russell 2000 futures with important levels to watch. As of today, the index remains the weakest among the others. Last week it tested an important trend line but managed to close above it. The index has an interesting behavior that could be used to trader's advantage. For example, it may be in a catch up mode and trend well while the rest of the indices are aimlessly chopping or it may show a hint where the rest of the indices will be heading.
Say, as an investor where do I put my money to work if I can see the Nasdaq and S&P 500 are at all time highs? The Russell is far from the all time highs and has plenty of upside potential.
I drew a few projected areas above and beyond the current action. In case the prices break above that would be a nice upside trend to fill the projected area. In case of a breakdown of the trend line the price can fill the existing area and still find enough buyers to remain inside.
Let's watch the price development next week. Being close to the upper edge of the existing balance the upside potential is there. The only warning sign is a notable negative divergence.
