After a rock-bottom RSI on DXY, is XAUUSD due for a fall? I thinIts no mystery that the DXY has an inverse mirroring relationship with XAUUSD. When DXY goes down, XAUUSD usually rises. The RSI for DXY has been bottom of the barrel for a long time now, and combined with a recent break in structure, due certainly due for a temporary rise, which doesn't bode well for XAUUSD in the short term. I placed my SL around 3,254 and TP around 3,243, two key areas of support and resistance from an SMC perspective.

EUR/USD Long Utilizing 4H EB (Equilibrium Block)Since the market opened on Sunday EU has been on an uptrend. It also broke past the previous 2 week's resistance/supply zone and retested it using it as a demand zone on Tuesday morning during the New York AM session. Then proceeds to create a strong bullish candle during the NY PM session that same day. This then starts the process for the equilibrium block. The way I identify EBs is by making sure there is a 3 candle model. The first candle must be a strong bullish or bearish candle while the second candle is the opposite/a retest and then the third candle must be an engulfing candle. So for this example it is a bullish set up so the 3 candle model was bullish bearish then bullish engulfing. If it was a bearish set up it would be bearish bullish then bearish engulfing. I placed my stop loss under the smallest wick on the engulfing candle and gave it room to breath by putting it at an institutional level. It took over a day but this trade ended up hitting all profit targets! ALUMINIUM - Short Opportunity in sight PEPPERSTONE:ALUMINIUM is nearing a critical resistance zone that has consistently acted as a barrier for bullish momentum. This area aligns with prior supply levels and may attract seller interest. If rejection patterns, such as bearish engulfing candles or long upper wicks, appear, I anticipate a move toward 2,600. A break above this resistance could indicate a shift in sentiment. What you should monitor closely is confirmation before entering short positions. Buyside liquidity needed For long term short ahead. 12/13-12/20i am looking for Sellside imbalance buy side inefficiency to get tapped into and a market structure shift for a Swing trade on dxy/usd pairs - if it doesn't give me a market structure shift and a reaction then i will wait for the buyside liquidity to be breached and to be patient. There will definitely be a scalp coming into Monday NY session. I am going to be patient and wait i will be using stop losses and wait to see how this plays out for swinging. i think it would help you guys to see my scalps because im only scalping for 15pips no more than 30pips at most if i do get a scalp i will show and post win or loss transparency is a huge thing right now
