Here is why, Axie infinity when it starts AXS wasn't worth that much too, they just made some updates about AXS token in-game and axie nearly made 1000x so, the atlas will take part in the game a lot buying selling earning repairing ship, etc. But players will earn atlas not polis with time atlas will lose value and Polis earn more value as a governance token and also a limited number of tokens. not like an atlas.
