STRUCTURE - The key to success!STRUCTURING - The key to success! (Part 1)
That structuring and order is the key to success, most will have already heard and partially applied in their own lives.
- Chart analysis is no exception and after correct application the results are even monetarily noticeable.
- How this can be implemented specifically in "TradingView", I present to you in this article.

PART 1 = THE PROBLEM
"EVERYONE WILL KNOW THE EXPERIENCE,
TO HAVE SET A TRADE, TO BE SURE OF VICTORY,
ONLY TO BE MERCILESSLY STOPPED OUT."
In hindsight, you analyze your failed trade and realize that in another "Time Frame" an important support/resistance level was below/above your "Stop Loss" and the "Trade Idea" was already - BEFORE - INVALIDATED.
-> So one could have saved the "LOSS".
Most of us will analyze several "Time Frames" to know - which levels are strong/weak and relevant.
-> Regardless of the preferred "Time Frame", one will include the next larger/smaller "Time Frames" in one's analysis.
-> The more "Time Frames" you analyze and include in your final decision, the more confusing it gets.
-> The chart looks like a battlefield and the probability to make a profitable decision diminishes - significantly.
The time spent to put together the individual pieces of the puzzle to the big whole is no longer presentable.
= Headaches and a bad decision are pre-programmed.
To avoid this problem and to make the "Multi-Time-Frame" analysis as effective as possible. I have tested the possibilities provided by "TradingView" and worked out solutions that work for me.
-> I will present these in the following posts to inspire you and possibly provide a solution for an already existing problem.
The benefits of a working structure are:
"LONG-TERM TIME SAVINGS" + "SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER DECISIONS".
2. PART = THE SOLUTION
2.1. INTEGRATION OF THE OBJECT TREE
The platform provides an "element" overview - of all objects drawn in.
-> this option is an excellent way to structure all the objects located in the chart.
- If you haven't used this option before, you will probably belong to the majority.
- Unfortunately, this tool has not been sufficiently promoted by "TradingView", which is why it is unknown to many.
You can find the "Object tree" on the right side, at the very bottom. (Image 1)
If you have never used / structured the object tree before, it will look similar to our "UN-ORDERLY" example. (Image 2)
In the third image, you can see how it can be once you take the time to add order. (Image 3)
To get an overview, you can sort the drawn objects into groups and label them, depending on your own preference / structure.
- This works with a simple right click on the object (e.g. Fib-Retracement).
- There is then the selection "CREATE A GROUP OF DRAWINGS".
Once several groups have been created, you may need a placeholder.
Any is not provided by the program, but can be easily created yourself.
= Simply draw a point with the BRUSH tool.
-> switch off all Time Frames at Visibility
-> create own folder for this point with e.g. "- - - - - - -".
3. PART = CONCLUSION
With a little effort, order and structure can be provided here in the "much" edited charts.
How you want to set up this structure is entirely up to you. In case you need a little inspiration, you can take the one I created.

GBPJPY Current outlookAfter a surge impulse move up yesterday we seeing the market slowed down now taking liquidity in my opinion it would be best to to execute any trades till we get a break of structures retest moreover some major confluences into our pot and top it of with continuation candlestick patterns for now we waiting while liquidity is been taken out
NZDUSD Buy set-upLooking at the dxy (dollar indice) it had been in weak trend thus far this week with nfp on the roll we might expect move movement NZDUSD to the upside as this broke daily structure to the upside creating a series on higher lows and higher highs on slighty smaller time frames should be a good Trade tell me what you all think
Post-Brexit Head and Shoulders PatternHi traders,
For more of the long term traders among you, here is a head and shoulders pattern that is nearing completion on the EURGBP weekly chart.
The pound has been relentlessly choppy since last year's referendum. Is it possible that we're about to see some semblance of stability again?
Personally, I can't see the fundamentals doing this technical analysis any favors and the sterling looks unlikely to recover most of its losses since Brexit. However, the neckline will be a key area to watch over the next couple of weeks.
Potential Bear Gartley D Leg or Continuation of Elliot Wave 3So we may have a potential garley pattern in play which i plan to take the short, given some confirmation. However an elliot wave has been formed which may take the current wave higher.
A close above the previous peak will prompt me to change my outlook from short to long
Head and Shoulders and Three Drivers, EUR/USD, 1hrIf you zoom out on this chart you will notice that the market has rallied out of a bat pattern and returned to previous structure. You will also notice i have highlighted a potential reversal zone in blue, and from which we can assume that the market, as usual, will respect structure, and return to structure lows. Here i have two patterns suggesting a reversal in the market.
The first is a head and shoulders, as marked in green. This pattern suggests a short term move to the low side. I believe that if the market breaks the structure low of the right shoulder, that the market will rally down into structure around the 1.2660's. I have placed stops at the top of the head, the entry below the right shoulder and the limit at previous structure around 1.2663
The second pattern is a three drives, this pattern also suggests that the market is becoming weak and is likely to return lower, the drives are most visible in a daily chart, or also if you zoom out. I don't believe there is a safe trade to be made off of this pattern, but I do believe that it reinforces our original speculation that the market will begin a downtrend.
Thanks for viewing, don't be afraid to comment , or like if you agree. and also follow me if you like what you see.
Thanks and Good Trading!
Bat Pattern, AUD/JPY, 30 I see a Bat pattern in the AUD/JPY 30 min chart, around the 96.810 area. The market here seems to be in an uptrend, so it isn't bad to assume that the market could break out of consolidation and continue trend. But I believe since the market will be testing highs for the year, the market will complete the pattern and reverse down into the 1.618 extension of the BC leg, where i have placed my limit. My stop is placed at the top of the pattern and my entry is placed right around point B, just to be safe and keep a risk reward of 2:1 or better.
Thanks for visiting, don't forget to like if you agree, or comment is you dont, i would love the feed back, i believe that trading view is here so we can use each other to learn from. And always follow, the reputation would be great for growing in the trading community. Thank you and Good Trading
