Trading Under The Spotlight: My Open Analysis Odyssey #9Hello once more, TradingView community!
Each chart we explore together adds another chapter to our collective narrative, deepening our understanding of the vast market tapestry. For those just joining us, or for our regular comrades, here's a quick summary of our journey's ethos:
Transparency, Not a Tutorial : While I provide a window into my trading psyche via these posts, the core strategic depths remain mine. This isn't a directive trading guide; it's a chronicle of my market observations.
Frequency & Execution : As days unfold, diverse setups emerge, but not all transition into trades. This series is about offering a glimpse into my thought process, not necessarily presenting trade advisories.
Purpose & Growth : Central to this endeavor is my ambition to sharpen my analytical acumen, bolstered by the candid feedback from this community.
On to the next analysis of the day:
Instrument : CHFJPY
Bias : Long
Overall Trend : Long
Thoughts : This instrument has been a strong performer, appreciating by 17% within the year and showing little indication of slowing down. Historically, the Yen tends to exhibit weakness, largely attributed to infrequent interest rate hikes. However, I must admit a lack of deep familiarity with the current fundamentals surrounding this pair. Coupled with the age-old trading wisdom that "an object in motion tends to stay in motion," it paints an interesting picture. Yet, due to my limited experience with this pair and a somewhat hesitant feeling about this particular setup, I might stay on the sidelines this time.
Engaging with you all, whether through mere observations or active discussions, continues to be a vital component of this journey. Together, we'll continue to peel back the layers of the market, one intriguing setup after another.

CHFJPY Long Trade OpportunityA buy trade opportunity recently presented itself on the CHFJPY trading chart. This is confirmed by the bullish engulfing candlestick pattern just above the 134.650 weekly horizontal resistance level. The level was recently broken by price, followed by a pullback and this idea is actually signalling a continuation of the upward move.
With SL at 134.500 (about 40.6 PIPS) and TP at 136.222 (about 131.6 PIPS), a R/R of 3.24 is possible.
Don't forget to do your due diligence by comparing this with your trade setup and seeking trading advice.
As always:
Look first, then leap!
[Market Breakdown 4] CHFJPYIf you see this Monthly chart, it's obvious that my main bias will be Short for this one.
You don't want to buy at Monthly highs or a zone full of Sell orders waiting to get filled in.
We have rejected the Monthly S&D zone and we have completed the Monthly -27 Fib.
These are indications for a Short set-up.
Is it possible to break this zone to the upside? Yes of course, but it would require a lot of power.
CHFJPY +300 Pips Coming Soon? Here Is the Idea
Target - We have tons of equal highs on the monthly and I believe we will be making a run for them this week or at least sometime this month.
I like the fact we respected an old support level + cleared 3-4 weekly lows + reversed on them and closed above.
This is the type of behavior I like to see. The close above the lows shows not only were the lows bought up, but price should remain above them now as institutions protect their positions.
The next logical target is 118-119 which is about 300-400 pips north of price.
Last week we also made a new high after clearing the lows.
It also helps the Yen looks weak overall for this week, and maybe next. The swiss also looks strong across the board. Strong/Weak= ^
swissfranc/yen short Signal!very good short coming up on this pair! Set up couldnt look any better, break of an uptrend, retouch candlestick on the 50% fib line which is also a new key level of reisistance, and this pair is about to melt in the coming days/weeks. Cant wait to see how this trade plays out, Could be the trade of the year.
