Twitter Ban over?Since the ban on Trump and many other people/organizations, Twitter has been an underperformer. There are a lot of reasons why investors would be hesitant given the uncertainty of potential regulation but from a technical standpoint, the stock seems poised for a mover higher. If twitter can clear the down trendline and hold range low levels at 44.00, the stock could reverse the recent down move and head back toward the 53.00 area.
Time to gloat: as expected, big tech cracking down on the leftThe USA billionaires that pretend to be left wing by supporting a far right party that calls itself the left, are now - as was so obvious just so obvious and so certain to happen - banning droves of left wing activists and groups.
I am gloating, not because I like seeing people get silenced, I am gloating because I love to say "told you so" and there is a second reason: I know this is the early phase of these internet giants dying. They won't go to zero tomorrow, we are only in the innovator or early adopter phase, but at some point the progress bar will fill up and this will be it.
There are plenty of alternatives and I cannot tell yet which ones will be the ones (some might not even have been created yet): Rumble, DLive, Mastodon, Bitchute, Gab, Parler, Odysee, many more, mostly right wing alternatives for now.
Here a few words from the International Committee of the Fourth International via their World Socialist Web Site:
"On Friday, Facebook carried out a purge of left-wing, antiwar and progressive pages and accounts, including leading members of the Socialist Equality Party. Facebook gave no explanation why the accounts were disabled or even a public acknowledgement that the deletions had occurred."
"Since the 2016 election, the US intelligence agencies have advocated internet censorship in the name of fighting “fake news.” While these actions have been presented as targeting far-right conspiracy theories, they have, in fact, disproportionately affected left-wing, antiwar and socialist organizations."
They banned the Socialist Equality Party’s candidate for US Vice President and other key figures.

Here is an article from the Socialist Workers Party, about Facebook banning their page:

Twitter is also banning plenty of anarchists, antiwar and other "unnacceptables". The mainstream media thinks they are useful idiots and are not really on their side so they won't cover the matter, the right-wing media well they don't care and think it's nothing compared to bans on right-wingers so won't cover it. They have no allies and if somehow average people hear of it and asks TWTR questions they'll say "oh ye these were clearly far right racists posing as left-wingers". Facebook banned known people, the socialist VP candidate, and the SWP page, so would be quite hard for them to call them undercover KKK members, although not impossible, "average" people are stupid enough to believe anything at that point.
They are killing small businesses (since 2009 there are in the USA more people working for large companies than small ones for the first time), they want more power and money... But... More people that work for large business will mean the comeback of workers unions and socialism & fascism and everything.

A chart to measure the health of the market $MMFI @TradingViewI often look at INDEX:MMFI to keep an eye to the momentum of the market in general. For me its like another Advance Decline Line of the TVC:SPX but with a little better information. Now I can see that for the past 6 years, every time that percentage hits more than 84%, the TVC:SPX is in the beginning of really good bull run, but normally is just after a market correction.
The great Mark Minervini recently tweetted "Fundamental backdrop remains bullish. I'm not calling for a bear market, but a run up from current levels with increased bullish sentiment would likely be a selling opportunity before a market correction.". His opinion is one of the most influential in my trading so, I´ll be very careful this upcoming days.
Twitter looks strong for 2021We believe Twitter is a great investment for 2021. President Biden and the blue wave could be massively advantageous for the platform. Twitter is increasingly becoming a popular platform for accessing real-time information. The stock on the other hand has not seen much love since the initial IPO. Twitter IPO'd at a price of $26 and traded for the first time on Nov 7, 2013. That same day, Twitter ran to $44.94, an increase of 72.84%. Since then, Twitter has been going through a large consolidation period which we believe will end in a large move to the upside.
Today, Twitter's market cap sits at $38 billion. That is less than 5% of Facebook's total market cap of $762 billion... wowza!
In term's of technical analysis, we believe Twitter will retest the orange uptrend line for an upside of 40% from today's close. That is when we will realize some profits. If a dip is to occur, we shall see it as an opportunity to accumulate. Until then, we will ride the wave to the upside.

Twitter looking to resume the uptrendIn my previous post, I've mentioned that there is a correction coming for Twitter and that was catalyzed after the social platform banned Trump's account.
Price has landed perfectly on the uptrend major support and formed yesterday a nicely looking pinbar.
RIS has turned from oversold zone and if you are more aggressive current price is tempting enough to enter long. I would wait for the additional confirmation from MACD. My long-term target is $58 if bullish conditions are confirmed.
Twitter INC (TWTR): Classic Trend Following
Twitter is trading in a strong bullish trend on daily.
The price is following a major rising trend line.
Recently, that trend line was tested.
Today the price has violated a falling parallel channel on 1H, confirming the strength of trend line.
Now I expect growth and trend continuation.
Goals - 48.7 / 50.4
The Look of Twitter since Permanently Suspending DJT's Account Since Twitter Permanently Suspended DJT's Account the company's stock value is down 18.23% on this news. That is almost half of the USA population that cannot be reached by their president, looks to be a bad financial move for the company moving into 2021.
The end of social media as we knew it. Not too soon. The mass exodus has begun. Social media getting blocked left and right, users fleeing towards alternatives, foreign countries building their own platforms.
The monopoly is over. The collapse will be apocalyptic.
Any increase in price is a sucker rally and a short entry.
Twitter and Facebook in particular will be hit very hard.
The US government might also give them the Standard Oil treatment.
China got its social media, Russia got its (maybe they recreate some sort of Soviet Union?), Europe was officially on the US side because the snobs were but now the snobs are pulling away so perhaps they develop their own.
France university liberals started a campaign to "decolonize" the country from US racial ideas, I don't know how big it is yet. They said that it was a fad with marxist roots, where "proletariat exploitation by rich owners" was replaced with "oppression of blacks by whites" (took them a while to figure it out) and people (especially young impressionable people) were mindlessly repeating what they saw on social media (herd mentality).
After Trump was banned, Angela Merkel criticized the tech giants, France too. Poland is making laws to prevent them from censoring people (if they do nothing illegal) with a big fine for non-respect.
Some companies said "bans were not enough" and want to remove some people from the internet completely, for example Mozilla wants to block people via the navigator.
The insane fascist-communist US might go along, but obviously the whole world will not agree.
The novelty effect is over, this is 2021, making a website is not that hard. Other countries can do it. Specialised/niche sites can pop out.
Other companies can do some of what TWTR does better. And there can be some "apps" that link it all together.
They're going to zero, just like myspace 🤗
Twitter Mid-term PullbackTwitter failed to break through a long-term resistance at $55 and has just closed a daily candle that confirms a local top. With a confirmed local tops also confirms bearish divergence on the RSI. RSI is also crossing down it's 21 EMA and is about to leave the bull control zone. I suspect the price to come down towards the 21 EMA and previous resistance at $46. Overall sentiment is still bullish if price falters back to this price point as this would only be a higher low. However If this support fails, expect it to head towards the previous local low at $40 and then $34 if it continues to break support. Break past and close below $40 local low and the trend overall will switch over to being bearish as the trend will be broken.
Where Will The Bird Land?Where is TWTR going to land? Seemed to hold that 47.5 area incredibly well...lot of buyers coming in there to pick it up. But then we see the seller pressure come in around the early 49's. Ultimately I think we make our way back up to the 52-53 area this week, but I want to see a goo confirmation above 49.5 before I enter. Shorts if we break 45.5 but I don't see that happening unless we get more bad news. 10% seems to be a healthy enough correction for a company like Twitter.
Please leave any comments or feedback below! I'm relatively new to charting.
Selling all my shares of Twtr - backlash on censorship is comingNo-one can show clearly that he is stronger and more powerful than the king ! FB and TwTR have just reminded world leaders of the great danger of leaving them unchecked and so powerful with their monopolies.
It is a matter of time but it will come really hard on them all , if not in the US as their supported Biden but around the world it is coming !
Their arrogance will be paid
