A good start to the week.
Quick scalp for 10 hard pips TP, before it hit PWL (previous weeks low).
I tune out the nay sayers that scalping doesn't work, and that I should maximize the trade, which is actually a very smart and profitable strategy when executed properly with trade management.
But I do LOVE scalping and enjoying the rest of my day not being stressed, LOL.
Both techniques work, the key is Trade Management.

Stole 12 pips, as slippage gave me a little more love on top of my hard 10 pip TP, on a short before the new release.
Of course you might say, I should had held for larger TP's, maybe, maybe not, at least i'm not stressing if price action went against me if I were to aim for that larger TP, right?
Finger always on your stop order, in the ready position, don't have it any other way.

Took a short on pure price action, leading the indicators, and wanted that quick 10 pip scalp heading into the 8:30am est (UTC-5) mark.
Got a pump in my direction on both the DXY and the USD/JPY

LONDON: USD/JPY 618 LIMIT - ATR SLLondon started with fireworks and despite the quick movement we entered a quick limit order at the 618 fib retracement of UJ using our ATR SL placement. It got hit and is moving quick! lets see if it continues

UJDouble Bottom on the larger time frames, so we could be expecting it to shoot up and complete the full channel. For now we will just watch and wait while the market plays out how it wants throughout the week.
LONDON: USD/JPY BO/B&R - MOMENTUMSetup for B&R was identified a bit late, but in correlation with current market strength, we were able to also identify a BreakOut setup also presented. Entry caught a bit slippage but 1:2RR should still be able to hit. Lets find out
USD/JPY - NICE QUICKY SHORTOANDA:USDJPY
4 hours into the FX open start of the week, a bit into Asian session.
Nice quick and painless short for hard TP of 10 pips.
The quick push to the downside went beyond 10 pips and more, maybe a bit over 20 pip on the initial structure breakout to the downside.
But doesn't matter, hindsight is always 20/20 and I don't care.
I have to check my FOMO and GREED at the door.
Only way for me to survive this game we chose to play.

I did not take an entry on this pair, but it was one of the top 2 pairs I filtered, to take a short.
Instead, I took one on the EUR/JPY.

NY: USD/JPY 618/BO - MOMENTUMUJ has reacted nicely off 618 fib and we can take the trade using momentum breakout setup for at least 2R. Lets see how NY plays out
UJThis was beautiful and there is no way you should have given this back. SL was moved into profits but manually closed because I was going to have a hectic day. Only updating now but this was a beautiful entry, beautiful RR and amazing trade. On to the next one.
ASIA: USD/JPY REVERSAL - MOMENTUM/REJECTIONAsia has setup a nice reversal trade strait out the playbook and provided us with double confirmation on entry. Let’s see if we can at least a 2R out of this one
