🔥🚩POINT OF CONTROL: THE MOST USEFUL TOOL FOR TREND TRADER🔥 Hi friends! Point of control is a part of volume profile indicator and very useful tool to identify upcoming BTC or any other asset move. I will explain you how to use this tool in your trading and make a good profit in this idea.
💹 Horizontal Volume Indicator or Volume Profile is a simple indicator that helps to identify: value areas (support or resistance zones), points of control and liquidity gaps.
📊 HOW TO USE POINT OF CONTROL
Point of control (red line on the chart) is the place of the largest accumulation of liquidity. We can say that this is the place of "the biggest battle between bulls and bears":
🔥the point of control becomes a resistance in case of "bears' victory" and crypto start to fall
🔥the point of control becomes a support in case of "bulls' victory and crypto start to grow
🚩 When one of the sides wins the "battle", this is the best time to enter the trade in short or long.
✅ No matter how complicated this tool looks, it is very easy to use:
1. extend the volume profile indicator from the lows to the highs. The indicator automatically shows the largest accumulation of liquidity showing POC (red line).
2. wait until the price tests the POC as support or resistance . From time to time the price can consolidate directly on the POC, which indicates the "battle" of long and short traders.
Pay attention to the chart. I have selected for you 4 cases of using POC on the volume profile:
1. Bitcoin just touched the POC at $39,700 and bounced up 72%.
2. the price tested the POC as resistance at $61,100 after which the price fell by 45% from the absolute highs.
3. Bitcoin consolidated around the POC at $39,000 for some time. The price fell by 31%.
4. POC is at the price of $19,150 per Bitcoin. Now you have to expect the price to return to this level and carefully watch the price reaction on POC.
🔥If the POC is tested as resistance , then it is very likely that we will see the level of $13,000-14,000 for BTC.
🔥If the POC is tested successfully as support , then the price will be able to make higher highs and start a bullish trend for Bitcoin. I talked about this scenario in previous ideas.
🚩 HOW TO ADD VOLUME PROFILE INDICATOR WITH POC TO YOUR CHART?
3 steps to add the indicator to your chart:
1. open "prediction and measurement tools" at the left part of chart
2. choose the "Fixed Range Volume Profile"
3. choose the price range from some date till another date.
So now you can see all important value areas and point of control.
✅ Point of control help you to identify the power of bulls or bears on different timeframes and make the right trading decision in the most of cases. Personally, I use this tool effectively for swing trading and scalping as well.
Traders, do use this indicator and such tools as POC in your trading? What is your favorite idicator for trading? Let me know in the comments.
💻Friends, press the "boost"🚀 button, write comments and share with your friends - it will be the best THANK YOU.
P.S. Personally, I open an entry if the price shows it according to my strategy.

Supply and Demand Zone for USDJPYHi guys,
I use Price action and Volume in order to find the Supply and Demand zone, then I get confirmation to open a trade with either RSI divergence or candle sticks in lower timeframe.
The Take Profits are subject to change as I need to see the last wave before it touches the designed areas to trade. I ll update when I open a position.

💡HOW TO OPERATE LATERALITIES WITH THE VOLUME PROFILE💡HI Guys, I will bring here an example of operation, follow the thread
On that day, I observed prices trading in a strong resistance zone and close to the 200 descending EMA, so I looked for sales with targets in the support zones.
I ended up taking my first take at $1.85 and I went with the targets plotted on the screen as an objective.
Yesterday the price was struggling to close the bar above the POC, so I saw context for more selling.
See that we have a double top in the POC zone combined with the fibonacci range
So I believe in the bottom of laterality test
This is a little bit of how I use the VOLUME PROFILE
In this case, I am expecting a consolidation operation, so the target zone is usually the central part of the entire trading range, for those who use the VP, they can also use the POC (The POC is basically the zone where most price trading takes place in active)
Important points: always on a trading range you will trade against breakouts, because 80% of the time they will fail.
Whenever you observe a consolidation mainly in the form of a wide range, use the Volume Profile to make it easier to read, and look for sales with signal bars, confirmation or any SetUp that you use above VAH, and purchases below VAL
This update was one of the last of the Volume Profile here on TV

9> Trade Plan - What Is That?
1. What is VOLUME when it comes to trade?
It represents the number of shares/contracts of a underlying security “stock” traded between market participants called by us as Traders "buyers and sellers".
Stocks > the volume it is measured by the number of shares traded.
Futures/Options > the volume it is measured by the number of contracts traded.
Using Volume Profile instead of it being on the X axis “bottom” of the chart it is on the Y axis “left" side horizontally. Check RED ARROW chart below.
Volume profile shows us volume traded for a SPECIFIC PRICE instead of time like market profile. Two different types of profile.
Every time a contract is traded the volume profile builds out to the right as more and more contracts are traded at that price.
. NODES: What are nodes?
When you zoom all the way in on volume profile you can see the size of each node. These price levels are called nodes and measure the amount of contracts traded within a specific price point.
3. HIGH Volume Nodes vs LOW Volume NODES.
HIGH Volume Nodes: (GREEN ARROWS —> in picture below) Are were a HIGH number of contracts are traded so it is slow for price to move through these nodes sometimes.
BALANCE - When there are high volume nodes it means there is balance forming and that market participants agree on a price also know as “fair value”
LOW Volume Nodes: (RED ARROWS —> in picture below) Are were a LOW number of contracts are traded so it is fast for price to move through these nodes usually.
IMBALANCE - When there is a market imbalance price moves very fast until it finds a “fair” value.
Sometimes price will move quickly to a LOW NODE which they call vacuums so sometimes they will wick to them. (Look at where the wicks are in the picture and they are where the LOW Volume Nodes are.
XAU/USD - 1H - Breakout SetupXAU/USD is in a bearish trend on 1H making LHs & LLs. Price is currently testing a falling resistance after recently forming a Head & Shoulders pattern.
The price might break above the falling resistance and rise towards the Neckline or the Volume Profile POC.
The Bullish Bias is based on the following confluence:
Strong Support + 38% Fib Retracement
Bullish divergence on RSI
Price respecting 200 SMA
OBV divergence with price (downtrend lacks conviction)
Long bottom wicks and Bullish Engulfing candle on Support
Volume Profile POC of previous trend
A break above falling trendline might give control to bulls. There's also an opportunity to go short if the support breaks downside. Wait for confirmation before going in any direction.

📉✌BTC Weekly & Daily Analysis✌📈BINANCE:BTCUSDT
COINBASE:BTCUSD
Hi traders, first look at my previous analysis and positions.
According to the volume profile indicator, the price is targeting lower levels in a bearish structure.
Price is anticipated to retest the $19,831 level now that it has been broken.
On a daily basis, it's anticipated that the price would drop down to the level of 19000 and not stay beyond that mark.
The $17,617 price level is the last significant support; it will be where Bitcoin's future lies.📉📈

GME How Much Upside?NYSE:GME
GME has made a recent move; is there any more left?
On the one hour chart with the volume profile overlaid.
the head and shoulders pattern of late May to late June
may be providing resistance as does the POC of the
volume profile in the same price zone.
I conclude that GME has perhaps 15% upside and is
not setting up a parabolic move or anything of the sort.
Liquidity overviewEURUSD H1
You can clearly see the Point of Control in volume profile, in that specific zone there is avoid of liquidity (asa IMBALANCE) and that zone will attract the price because big players will have to mitigate their trades.
Anyway we see that price is trading in a narrow range now, we should wait a potential breakout and the close of a H1 candle above the rsistance before placing a buy, if instead price goes down we will stay out of market.
The Italian Trader
Long BTC to $25,600Cognitive flexibility, required to shift one’s bias from bullish to bearish, long to short, and vice versa, based on market conditions, is extremely valuable as a trader. In previous publications, I mentioned that since the BTC price has been in a down trending environment for nearly 9 months we should assume that the current trading range (31 days and counting) is re-distribution unless the market conditions tell us otherwise. The BTC price is up 22% since the secondary test (ST) on July 13. Thus, the current market conditions tell us that we should consider whether the current trading range is re-accumulation instead of re-distribution.
If the current trading range is re-accumulation, then the secondary test (ST) on July 13 had a spring-like effect and the subsequent rally, which broke above the trading range upper bound, broke above the value area high (VAH, purple line) and, most likely, will close above the open of the significant sell bar (shaded pink) on June 16. This is bullish!
The 2 day, 4 day, and 8 day all look bullish. With regard to a long position, target 1 is $25,600 and target 2 is $29,959.

Bitcoin VRVP suggesting downward move$BTC currently balancing on the VAL and wanting to go below it.
Once we start moving down, the volume profile (right) suggests we will move down to 20850 at an increasing pace, possibly to halt there on support for a bit.
**If** we lose that, I think there is potential for things to move downwards fast and rather steeply, as the volume profile suggests.
Fundamentally Bearish XAU/USDGood morning fellow traders,
This is my analysis for XAU/USD. I chose this pair because I have noticed a many traders believing there will be bullish reversal. Unfortunately, the fundamentals do not line up with the bullish sentiment. I will breakdown further with why I believe the pair will be bearish:
1. The biggest proponent for the bearish sentiment is the interest rate hikes for the United States dollar that have been occurring and will continue to occur to combat high inflation. This week alone has a high probability for a 75 base point hike that could further drive the value of the Dollar higher.
2. The Commitment of Traders report for Gold Futures shows that while Large Speculators are still net long with 241,004 Long Positions to 146,049 Short Positions, they have removed 10,122 Long Positions and added 13,044 Short Positions from 7/12 to 7/19. Large Speculators have been removing Long Positions and adding Short Positions for rather long time as financial markets are downward from Dollar strength. This means while the market experience a short term bull trend, Large Speculators may be preparing for further downside.
As you can see currently, the market is showing a bearish candle in response to a short range that was rejected (Volume Profile used). The next box is a range that happened after the market recovery from the March 2020 crash.
As with any trade, do you own research and trade at your own risk. I am not a financial advisor. Happy trading!
BTC Reaction at Re-Distribution Trading Range Upper BoundThe BTC price continues to be observed within a Wyckoff re-distribution trading range (to be confirmed or to fail) with the upper bound given by the automatic rally (ARa) daily high and the lower bound given by the selling climax (SC) daily low.
The secondary test (ST) on July 3 had a Spring-like effect, catalyzing a very nice rally (+19%) that wicked above the trading range upper bound. I expect the BTC price to test the point of control (POC) around $20,472. Let’s see how the BTC price reacts at the POC (e.g., Will it fall through the POC support or reverse direction?).
With regard to the Phoenix Ascending (PA) indicator (lower panel), upward momentum (Energy, grey) is diminishing. We will be observing downward momentum soon. The blue line at level 70 will provide support for the BTC price. Given the levels and likely trajectories of the blue and red lines, a steady, step-wise move down (similar to the reaction from June 26 through July 3) seems likely.
Wyckoff abbreviations: automatic rally (ARa), selling climax (SC), secondary test (ST), upthrust (UT), upthrust after distribution (UDAT), preliminary supply (PS), failed upthrust (FUT), last point of supply (LPSY), shakeout (SO), sign of weakness (SOW), Phase A (Ph A), Phase B (Ph B), Phase C (Ph C), Phase D (Ph D), Phase E (Ph E).

Case Study Volume Profile GBP/JPY Been working on a new trading strategy that involves using the volume profile of each security/forex pairs to exploit the market by only entering and exiting trades in unfair market price areas (low volume nodes) to create profit without having to fight in high volume node area which are general areas of consolidation.
Would love to get your thoughts
Volume profile: Bull run will not be soonExamining the volume profile of bitcoin and comparing it with the previous two cycles shows several issues:
1. Price of control has not been the level of bitcoin support but has created an area around which bitcoin fluctuates (Suppoer area range- accumulation area)
2- Fluctuation around the POC has continued for at least a few weeks
3- VAL 50% has acted as a support level for Bitcoin in this range
A comparison with the current situation shows that Bitcoin now needs to be more consolidated in this price range or further reduced in price. Fluctuations in the current range around the current POC will range from $ 17,000 to $ 22,000.
