Xauusd NFP signal Gold stays below $2,640 ahead of US NFP report
Gold price struggles to capitalize on its goodish intraday bounce from a one-and-half-week low touched earlier this Friday, though it manages to hold above $2,630. Investors refrain from taking large positions ahead of the November jobs report from the US.

Xauusd sell signal Gold price ticks lower on Thursday amid a modest rebound in the US bond yields. Geopolitical risks and trade war fears could help limit losses for the XAU/USD. The USD bulls remain on the sidelines ahead of the key US NFP report on Friday

Xauusd Gold price attracts some sellers following an intraday uptick to the $2,650 supply zone in the early European session on Wednesday. The precious metal, however, remains confined in a familiar range held over the past week or so as traders seem reluctant to place aggressive directional bets ahead of Fed Chair Jerome Powell's speech

Xauusd sell signal Gold price (XAU/USD) builds on the overnight bonce from the $2,600 neighborhood, or a one-week low and gains some follow-through positive traction for the second straight day on Wednesday. Concerns about persistent geopolitical risks stemming from the protracted Russia-Ukraine war and US President-elect Donald Trump's tariff plans turn out to be key factors driving haven flows towards the precious metal.

Xauusd long Target The overnight breakout above the $2,665 confluence – comprising the 50% retracement level of the recent pullback from the all-time peak and the 100-period Simple Moving Average (SMA) on the 4-hour chart – was seen as a key trigger for bulls. Adding to this, technical indicators on the daily chart have again started gaining positive traction and support prospects for a further appreciating move for the Gold price. Hence, some follow-through strength beyond the $2,700 mark, towards the $2,710-2,711 supply zone, looks like a distinct possibility. Acceptance above the said barriers will reaffirm the positive bias and lift the XAU/USD towards the next relevant hurdle near the $2,736-2,737 region.

Xauusd Gold price retreats after touching a one-and-half-week top earlier this Wednesday and drops to a fresh daily low, below the $2,630 level heading into the European session. A goodish pickup in the US Treasury bond yields, bolstered by bets for a less aggressive policy easing by the Fed, revives the USD demand and undermines demand for the non-yielding yellow metal.

Xauusd sell Gold price is seeing a dead cat bounce from three-week lows of $2,644 in Asian trading on Thursday, as the dust settles in the aftermath of a massive sell-off, fuelled by Republican candidate Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential race.

Xauusd sell From a technical perspective, last week's failure near the top boundary of an ascending channel extending from late July and the subsequent pullback from the all-time peak could be seen as a sign of bullish exhaustion. However, mixed oscillators on the daily chart warrant some caution before positioning for further losses. Hence, any further decline is more likely to find some support near the $2,720-2,715 horizontal zone, below which the Gold price could aim to challenge the trend-channel support, currently pegged near the $2,690 region. Some follow-through selling would mark a bearish breakdown and pave the way for some meaningful corrective fall in the near term.
