Russia says it has captured two villages in Ukraine, RIA reports

Russia's Defence Ministry said on Saturday its forces had captured two villages in eastern Ukraine: Zelenyi Hai in the Donetsk region and Maliivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reported.

Reuters could not independently confirm the battlefield report.
