Trend Precognition - Mtrl_ScientistHi everyone,
This is an updated version of my base algorithm "BTC Precognition". I've managed to remove some lag, while at the same time smoothing the curve (blue).
All you need to know about it is on the chart's legend. The arrows just correspond to the bottoms/tops of the blue signal curve (marked with green/red circles). However, predicting turning points is difficult and I'm still working on that. So for now, the signals are offset by 1 candle into the past. This means that all of your trades will be 1 candle late, unless you trade intrabar using your own intuition. As a help, I've also included the first derivative (black curve) that will tell you the slope of the blue curve. Remember, when the curve is about to turn, the slope becomes zero. However, you can anticipate this by looking at the slope's direction and guessing when it will cross the zero line.
This is still all work in progress, so invite-only.

Johny Bravo Is A Cool Dude_IndicatorIt can detect reversals (topps/bottoms) of major (bigger) trends. For swing trading. There are false signals tho, so use it as a conformation or whatever. It's just a bunch of MA's/EMA's put togeather looking through Multi-time frames, so it shouldn't repaint, or so I hope. I suggest to look for divergances, right after the signal. Hope it helps.
1337 VolumeThis volume indicator gives you a unique perspective and ability to analyze volume in any market. The upper line that is always >=0 represents average up volume over a user definable period while the lower line that is always <= 0 represents the average down volume over a user definable period.
green == bullish candle but volume lower than average
lime == bullish candle with above average volume
crimson == bearish candle with below average volume
red == bearish candle with above average volume
This indicator is very useful for spotting bottoms / tops (do a visual backtest and observe its behavior) as well as entry opportunities.
By default, the lookback period for average volume is 7, but I encourage you to change this value in order to find settings that work best for your particular market.
If you have any feedback or ideas for improvement, please comment.
Enjoy :D

Humble Student OB/OS Trifecta indicatorAfter reading Cam Hui's blog post about his "Trifecta" bottom spotting model I thought I'd try my hand at scripting it as an indicator. The results are pretty close to what he describes. Though the data TradingView feeds me doesn't seem to be identical to what he's using on StockCharts.com the results are close enough that I will call the effort a success worth publishing.
[Bitcoin] Lastbattle's nose pickerI've been working on a top and bottom picker script over the past couple of weeks, based on RSI of multiple timeframe closing price. It've been a pretty good trading system that's tested over the last meteoric rise from 220~270 and back down to 230 right now, and I think it should be released to the community.
Sure, I'm not worried about this strategy not working anymore after it is being used by the majority. Everyone have a different view of the market, and this is more towards psychology. It'll likely to hold for as long as there are still humans trading Bitcoins. Bitcoin market is full of emotions, you'll never run out of it.
So why does it work?
If you take a look at the live charts offered by Bitcoinwisdom and Cryptowatch, they only offer 1, 3, 5, and 15 minute timeframe by default with no other option to switch.
Naturally more traders will look at these levels for oversold and overbought condition.
The same indicator does not work for the broader commodities market such as Gold and Silver.
How does it work?
As long as the RSI levels of 1, 3, 5, and 15 minute fulfills the oversold/overbought level, a signal will be given.
The overbought/oversold level gets compensated the higher volatility the market is in.
Note: **
-This is only for exit strategy. If you're on long, consider reducing or exiting your position when it displays a red. On the other hand if you're short, consider reducing or covering your shorts if it shows a green.
-It may give false signal in a trending market, use your trading experience and judgement to filter them out. (eg: uptrend usually have more than 1 legs AND after a long consolidation, RSI gets to oversold/overbought easily... the market will tend to test the support/resistance again.)
-This is tuned for the 15m interval, the script won't work beyond this. I use it for scalping futures. Feel free to change or remove this line 'plot(interval == 15 and '
-Even if it shows a signal, it may not be the true top/bottom. Sometimes there may be a weak diverged leg aka 'last fart', so that's one reason I dont use this for entry until more confirmation is given via other indicators.
** If your chart is zooming all the way down to 0, right click on the price at the right and select 'Scale price only'
Go ahead and try this out with willy, etc and see what works better :D

Hobble Skirt Bottom Impede Fashion (by ChartArt)A very noisy indicator to detect bottoms and new uptrends.
Original idea by ChartArt.
First published indicator - constructive criticism welcome.
(The indicator is experimental and doesn't work most of the time.)
I would describe it as an "coincident indicator". The signals occur at approximately the same time as the conditions it signifies. Rather than predicting future events it changes at the same time to the upside as possible bottoms show up.
P.S. hobble skirt is a syllable of chart, that is how I came up with the name
"A hobble skirt was a skirt with a narrow enough hem to significantly impede the wearer's stride, and was a short-lived fashion trend around the turn of the twentieth century."
P.P.S. Bottoms are also short-lived...
