BTC Dominance Trend CheckerThis monitors the Bitcoin dominance (BTC.D) in the market. It retrieves the current and previous day's BTC dominance values, determines whether dominance is increasing or decreasing, and visually displays the trend.
Btcdominance
Buy Sell Trend MonitorDescription
The purpose of this indicator is to create symbols that try to show the most accurate positions possible for trading. The formation of BUY/SELL symbols is based on the intersection of SYMBOL(Himself), BTC.D, BTC and DXY indices. The resulting signals take values between 0 and 16. These values represent the strength of the signal, and the higher its numerical value, the stronger the signal. Here, 2 different calculation methods are followed for BTC and Altcoins. In BTC, calculations are made according to the direction of BTC Market value and DXY averages, while in Altcoins, calculations are made according to the direction of BTC, BTC.D and DXY averages. If DXY for BTC is trending downwards and the BTC market value is trending upwards, the BUY symbol is formed depending on the level at which the trend occurs. For altcoins, if DXY is trending down, BTC is trending up and BTC.D is trending down, the BUY symbol is formed depending on the level at which the trend occurs. For the SELL signal, the opposite is true.
Symbols are drawn according to standard ticker and OHLC4 values.
The averages of the 1-length RSI value of these symbols are taken as the 6-length SMA.
Symbols
The symbols are explained one by one below.
Orange Line: Bitcoin Marketcap line.
White Line: DXY line.
Red Line: Bitcoin Dominance line.
Aqua Line: Current Symbol line.
Best Use
This indicator should be used for SPOT trades. Regardless, since it is not possible to know exactly the direction of the market, it should be considered to buy gradually at buy signals and sell gradually at sell signals.
It should be followed for at least a 4-hour period. We do not recommend its use as the margin of error will increase in shorter time periods.
Since the signals are not guaranteed to work 100%, we do not recommend you to trade with all your money.
No Repainting
Repainting is definitely not done. After the symbols appear, the closing should be expected. Once the closing occurs, the symbol will now be permanent.

Simple Dominance Momentum IndicatorThe Simple Dominance Momentum Indicator is a powerful tool for tracking market trends in the world of cryptocurrency. By analyzing the relationship between dominance and market movement, this indicator helps traders identify when money is flowing into or out of the market.
Using the pane structure on TradingView, the Dominance Momentum Indicator makes it easy to visualize and track data from CryptoCap charts. Whether you're a seasoned investor or starting out, this indicator can help you make more informed trading decisions.
All this indicator does is create the pane with a line chart using the Dominance charts to allow you to see the data with one button instead of doing it all manually. However with the addition to allow it to toggle between crypto and stables, so if you are using a /BTC pair, you don't have to add a new pane on, it automatically converts. If you are looking at USDT pairs for example, it will highlight that one for you.
While it can work under any conditions, the Dominance Momentum Indicator is particularly effective on higher timeframes, providing valuable insight into the overall plot of the market trend. With a 55EMA and a faster-moving average of 21EMA, this indicator is designed to help you stay ahead of the curve and make smarter trading decisions.
Remember the golden rule for stablecoin dominance. Down = good, and up = bad; however, you can just invert the indicator, so it flows with the market.
When it comes to the dominance of individual cryptocurrencies, for example, DOT.D, you might find that it going up = increasing dominance is STRENGTH. If the dominance of that is increasing it means it's growing.

Indicator for proxy BTC and ALT dominanceThis indicator calculates a proxy for BTC dominance and ALT domance from total crypto cap by removing USDT and USDC. The indicator has 4 plots:
Proxy BTC Dominance = BTC dominance / (total crypto cap - stablecoin cap)
Proxy ALT Dominance = (Total crypto cap - stablecoins - btc cap) / (total crypto cap - stablecoin cap)

altcoin strength This indicator measures the relationship between bitcoin and bitcoin dominance and creates a strength index for altcoins. Values above zero add strength to the rise, values below zero add strength to the decline.

BTC Dominance TrendThis simple script applies the DMI/ADX (trend) indicator to the Bitcoin Dominance Index (BTC.D) to check whether BTC is increasing its dominance or not on that day. It is meant to be applied to altcoins on medium intervals. I put it together to test the following hypothesis: On days when BTC dominance is on the rise, altcoins are harder to take off, because Bitcoin is draining the lifeblood out of them, so caution is needed when opening trades.
Olive background means BTC dominance is rising on that day, purple that it is decreasing. White background means it is not moving significantly in any direction.
You can change the resolution (i.e. apply the DMI/ADX to a different BTC.D interval), just make sure to lower the threshold as well. I hope you find a good use for it! Beware if you try to incorporate it in your strategy, it uses higher timeframe data and hence is prone to repainting.
Market Share AnalysisHOW THIS INDICATOR WORKS
-----------------------------------
I've been working on this new indicator to compare, for example, BTCUSD with it's market share or market dominance.
Market Share is the Coin's market cap divided by Total Market Cap. For example, Bitcoin Market Share is currently sitting around 45.7 %
Meaning, Bitcoin is around 45% of the total market of cryptocurrencies.
This indicator has different configurations you should pay attention.
1- Output:
- Market Share Change: this is the percentage change for market share from bar to bar moving up and down from a central line.
- Market Share: this is the close price from the market share symbol selected above.
2- Highlight:
- Divergences: Divergences shows the moment when the price rises and the dominance decreases or vice-versa. Divergences has extra config parameters (explained below).
- Rising/Decreasing: This plots a background red color when the market share price is below its MA(20) line and green background when it's above this line.
3- Show Abnormal signs:
This will print a plus sign in the market share chart when the market dominance rises or decreases too fast (Try changing StDev from 2.0 to 3.0)
4- Divergences:
Divergences has extra config parameters. For example, we want the price to rise or decrease 1% to show a divergence with the market share. Otherwise, it's not as important for us. Also, we can accept to consider an abnormal volume in the divergence or not.
HOW CAN WE INTERPRET THIS INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------------
I've noticed when bitcoin rises in market share, it's doing or it's preparing for a Big Move. Usuallyl altcoins are dumping and Bitcoin gains the main attention. Best place to be is BTC.
I've also noticed when USDT.D dominance rises, means a big dump is happening or it's close to happen. The capital flow from different coins to Tether.
I have also observed the Bitcoin dominance divergences show us the moments of panic sell in the market. During those moments of extremely selling pressure, the capital flows from Alts to BTC again gaining market share when the price is dropping hard.
MORE INFO
--------------
This indicator allow us to change the symbol to any other like for example ETH.D. I encourage you to go to ETHUSD pair from your favorite exchange in 4H time-frame and change the symbol from this indicator to match ETH.D to have the Ethereum Market share to compare one next to each other.
You're going to find amazing divergences and rising/decreasing moments. Also, try looking at ETHBTC, and then check for ETH.D dominance. Amazing divergences will appear. I hope these are good signs for you too.
To reference any other symbol rather than BTC.D you can easily change the symbol to any other option like:
BTC.D => Ethereum Market Share
ETH.D => Ethereum Market Share
XRP.D => XRP Market Share
All these tickers are from CRYPTOCAP. So the correct ticker name would be for example: CRYPTOCAP:BTC.D to have the Bitcoin Market Dominance calculated by Trading View.
