Memecoin TrackerMemecoin Z-Score Tracker with Buy/Sell Table - Technical Explanation
How it Works:
This indicator calculates the Z-scores of various memecoins based on their price movements, using historical funding rates across multiple exchanges. A Z-score measures the deviation of the current price from its moving average, expressed in standard deviations. This provides insight into whether a coin is overbought (positive Z-score) or oversold (negative Z-score) relative to its recent history.
Key Components:
- Z-Score Calculation
- The lookback period is dynamically adjusted based on the chart’s timeframe to ensure consistency across different time intervals:
- For lower timeframes (e.g., minutes), the base lookback period is scaled to match approximately 240 minutes.
- For daily and higher timeframes, the base lookback period is fixed (e.g., 14 bars).
Memecoin Selection:
The indicator tracks several popular memecoins, including DOGE, SHIB, PEPE, FLOKI, and others.
Funding rates are fetched from exchanges like Binance, Bybit, and MEXC using the request.security() function, ensuring accurate real-time price data.
Thresholds for Buy/Sell Signals:
Users can set custom Z-score thresholds for buy (oversold) and sell (overbought) signals:
Default upper threshold: 2.5 (indicates overbought condition).
Default lower threshold: -2.5 (indicates oversold condition).
When a memecoin’s Z-score crosses above or below these thresholds, it signals potential buy or sell conditions.
Buy/Sell Table:
A table with two columns (BUY and SELL) is dynamically populated with memecoins that are currently oversold (buy signal) or overbought (sell signal).
Each column can hold up to 20 entries, providing a clear overview of current market opportunities.
Visual Feedback:
The Z-scores of each memecoin are plotted as a line on the chart, with color-coded feedback:
Red for overbought (Z-score > upper threshold),
Green for oversold (Z-score < lower threshold),
Other colors indicate neutral conditions.
Horizontal lines representing the upper and lower thresholds are plotted for reference.
How to Use It:
Adjust Thresholds:
You can modify the upper and lower Z-score thresholds in the settings to customize sensitivity. Lower thresholds will increase the likelihood of triggering buy/sell signals for smaller price deviations, while higher thresholds will focus on more extreme conditions.
View Real-Time Signals:
The table shows which memecoins are currently oversold (buy column) or overbought (sell column), updating dynamically as price data changes. Traders can monitor this table to identify trading opportunities quickly.
Use with Different Timeframes:
The Z-score lookback period adjusts automatically based on the chart's timeframe, making this indicator suitable for intraday and long-term traders.
Use shorter timeframes (e.g., 1-minute, 5-minute charts) for faster signals, while longer timeframes (e.g., daily, weekly) may yield more stable, trend-based signals.
Who It Is For:
Short-Term Traders: Those looking to capitalize on short-term price imbalances (e.g., day traders, scalpers) can use this indicator to identify quick buy/sell opportunities as memecoins oscillate around their moving averages.
Swing Traders: Swing traders can use the Z-score tracker to identify overbought or oversold conditions across multiple memecoins and ride the reversals back toward equilibrium.
Crypto Enthusiasts and Memecoin Investors: Anyone involved in the volatile memecoin market can use this tool to better time entries and exits based on market extremes.
This indicator is for traders seeking quantitative analysis of price extremes in memecoins. By tracking the Z-scores across multiple coins and dynamically updating buy/sell opportunities in a table, it provides a systematic approach to identifying trade setups.
Fundingrates
@tk · spectral█ OVERVIEW
This script is an indicator that helps traders to identify the price difference between spot and futures of the current crypto plotted into the chart. It works in both types of markets, when the chart is plotting the crypto in spot market, it will compare with its respective futures ticker and vice-versa. If the current asset isn't a crypt ticker, the indicator will not be plotted into the chart.
█ MOTIVATION
Since crypto's derivative market is based on spot market asset's price, to calculate the arbitrage mechanisms that attempts to balance the asset price, this indicator can help traders to identify some spot and futures price divergence that can create an anomaly of funding rate and can push it to an extreme negative — or positive — rate. So, easing to track the price difference between both markets will bring more evidences to identify an artificial price move, specially in crypto assets with low market cap.
█ CONCEPT
The trading concept to use this indicator is the concept of the arbitrage machamism created by exchanges that calculates the funding rate based on spot and futures price difference that will vary from exchange to exchange. This strategy don't works alone. It needs to be aligned together with others indicators like Exponential Moving Averages, Chart Patterns, Support and Resistance, and so on... Even more confluences that you have, bigger are your chances to increase the probability for a successful trade. So, don't use this indicator alone. Compose a trading strategy and use it to improve your analysis.
█ CUSTOMIZATION
This indicator allows the trader to customize the following settings:
GENERAL
Text size
Changes the font size of price difference table to improve accessibility.
Type: string
Options: `tiny`, `small`, `normal`, `large`.
Default: `small`
Position
Changes the position of price difference table.
Type: string
Options: `top_left`, `top_center`, `top_right`, `middle_left`, `middle_center`, `middle_right`, `bottom_left`, `bottom_center`, `bottom_right`.
Default: `bottom_right`
Pair Quote
The ticker quote symbol that will be used to base the ticker comparison from spot to futures (e.g. BTCUSDT which `USDT` is the quote. ETHBTC which `BTC` is the quote).
Type: string
Default: USDT
Spectrum Color
The color of the spectrum candles. Spectrum candles are the candles of the opposite market. If the current ticker is in the spot market, the spectrum candles will be the price of the futures market.
Type: color
Default: #434651
█ FUNCTIONS
The indicator contains the following functions:
stripStarts(src, str)
Strips a defined pattern from a string.
Parameters:
src: (string) Source string
str: (string) String pattern to be stripped from start of source string.
Returns: (string) Stripped string with matched regex pattern.
[FTX Funding Colored Candles] [third eye]This Indicator plots FTX: BTCPERP predicted funding rates and colours the candlesticks based on it.
!!!
Since Tradingview always plots new indicators at the back you might have to click:
Name of the Indicator ( ) -> More -> Visual Order -> Bring to Front
(unfortunately, there is no way for me to do this in pinescript)
There is also the possibility to change colors in the Settings:
It is grouped by where Basis is (FTX:BTCPERP - FTX Spot index)
Changing that might be good for getting a more close up view of LTF price action.
Also to get rid of the Values in the Status line click on Settings and scroll to the bottom to disable "Value in Status Line"
BTC Perpetual Futures Premium [Morty]Version 1.0, 20210409
This is an oscillator indicator that shows the premium between BTC perpetual futures and spot prices.
The prices of futures and spot are weighted average prices, weighted by the exchange's trading volume.
When the indicator is in the upper half of the region, the funding rate of perpetual contracts is relatively high, and the market trend is bullish.
When the indicator is in the upper half of the region, the funding rate of perpetual contracts is relatively high, and the market trend is bearish.
You can set the upper and lower limits of the premium. When the indicator exceeds the upper or lower limit, the trend usually reverses.
Buy the dip, Sell the high.

Funding Rate for FTX:BTCPERP (estimated) v0.1 Original credits goes to @Hayemaker, and @NeoButane for the TWAP portions of this script
By @davewhiiite, 2021-03-27
Version 0.1
Summary: The funding rate is the interest charged / credited to a perpetual futures trader for taking a long or short position. The direction of the funding rate is used as an indicator of trader sentiment (+ve = bullish; -ve = bearish), and therefore useful to plot in real time.
The FTX exchange has published the calculation of their funding rate as follows:
TWAP((future - index) / index) / 24
The formula here is the same, but expresses it in the more common % per 8hr duration:
funding = TWAP((future / index) - 1) * (8 / 24) * 100
For reference: future refers to the FTX bitcoin futures contract price (FTX:BTCPERP) and index is the spot price of bitcoin on the exchange (FTX:BTCUSD)
Additional notes:
Probably best to add to the indicator to a new pane, or as secondary axis
Plot this in combination with FTX:BTCPERP or FTX:BTCUSD, or chart of your choice to complement your bitcoin dashboard
Compare to funding rates published on ViewBase

Crypto Prices InfoPanel V2Hello traders
Following the introduction of ByBit to TradingView ByBit on TradingView
I decided to upgrade my previous Bitcoin InfoPanel Bitcoin-Prices-InfoPanel/
Now it's more dynamic (thumbs up) but only work with Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin . If you select any other asset than those 3, the script won't work
This is due to a technical limitation on TradingView because I can't do more than 40 security calls per script
If you don't know what the security function is, here's a reminder : Security documentation . If you don't know what is TradingView... I cannot do anything for you...
Now you can use this panel to have a very cool arbitrage view directly from TradingView and use the info to gamble between brokers (not financial advice)
See you all tomorrow for a huge update regarding the Strategy Builder. I'll show you how to connect it to a Backtest system
