Smart Indicator 28 - Swing Pivots (Higher Highs and Lower Lows)A simple way to find Higher Highs and Lower Lows (HH and LL) whit automatic Fibonacci Lines in the most common levels.
In this indicator the Higher Highs only happens when a high value are rising from each other in the last "Length of Real Pivots" highs and the next same number of highs are falling in every single bar.
The Lower Lows are inverted, LL only appears if a low is falling in every single bar in the last number of length and the lows price of the "n" bars next are rising.
You can use this Indicator in any kind of market.

RVC-Weekly-Pivots-GANN-LevelsPurpose:
Weekly - Fibonacci pivot levels and Gann levels calculation and marking on Chart automatically.
Mainly expected to use for trading on NIFTY and BankNifty
Kindly share your comments and suggestions to improve
Pivot AverageThis is an interesting application of Tradingview's basic Pivot HL indicator.
Pivot Average Indicator takes N number of the most recent Pivot Points (for both High and Low) and computes the average of the pivot points. The average price is then plotted on the chart.
The number of pivot points to average is a user defined variable that can be adjusted in the settings.
One can develop his/her own strategy by using this. One way to use this indicator is to buy when the price breaks above the average of High Pivot points and to sell when the price breaks below the average of Low Pivot points.
RVC-Daily_PivotsPurpose: Fibonacci Pivot levels + Gann levels calculation and display on Chart automatically.
Mainly expected to use these for intraday trading on NIFTY and BankNifty
Display R1/R2/R3 - Pivot - S1/S2/S3 levels
Also display GANN Levels of
720- / 540- / 360- / 270-/ 180- / 90- / 45-
45+ / 90+ / 180+ / 270+ / 360+ /540+ /720 +
Same pivot levels are useful for any equity - support and resistance levels.
Levels indicated are only for reference and not meant for trading purpose.
Divergence for many indicator v3Hello Everyone. Almost one year later, with Pine version 4, I developed new version of the Divergence for many Indicator.
It analyses divergences for 10 predefined indicators and then draws line on the graph. Red for negatif divergence (means prices may go down or trend reversal), Lime for positive divergences (means prices may go up or trend reversal)
Divergences version 2 has latency because it waits higher time frame completion. in this new version the script uses Pivot Points and on every bar it checks divergence between last Pivot point and current bar and if it finds any then immediately draws line and removes old one. so there is no latency with this version.
There are predefined 10 indicators in the script, you have option to choose which indicators the script would analyse for divergence. (RSI , MACD , MACD Histogram, Stochastic , CCI , Momentum, OBV, Diosc, VWMACD and CMF)
In replay mode you can see how the script puts new divergence line and removes old one. you better see it for yourself by using replay mode.
Hope you Enjoy!
Trend LinesHello Everyone! This is my new trend lines script (after beta version that was published almost one year ago)
The idea is to find Pivot Highs (PH) and Pivot Lows(PL) first.
Then, If current PH is smaller then previous PH (means no new higher high and possible downtrend) then draw trend line using them. and also it checks previous trend line (if exits) and if current angle is smaller then don't extend previous one.
Same idea when using Pivot Lows, If current PL is higher then previous PL (means no new lower low and possible uptrend) then draw trend line using them. and also it checks previous trend line (if exits) and if current angle is smaller then don't extend previous one.
Optionally style of old trend lines drawn as dashed.
Hope you enjoy it!

Pivots MTF [LucF]Pivots detected at higher timeframes are more significant because more market activity—or work—is required to produce them. This indicator displays pivots calculated on the higher timeframe of your choice.
Features
► Timeframe selection
— The higher timeframe (HTF) can be selected in 3 different ways:
• By steps (15 min., 60 min., 4H, 1D, 3D, 1W, 1M, 1Y). This setting is the default.
• As a multiple of the current chart's resolution, which can be fractional, so 3.5 will work.
• Fixed.
— The HTF used can be displayed near the last bar (default).
— Note that using the HTF is not mandatory. If it is disabled, the indicator will calculate on the chart's resolution.
— Non-repainting or repainting mode can be selected. This has no impact on the display of historical bars, but when no repainting is selected, pivot detection in the realtime bar will be delayed by one chart bar (not one bar at the HTF).
► Pivots
— Three color schemes are provided: green/red, aqua/pink and coral/violet (the default).
— Both the thickness and brightness of lines can be controlled separately for the hi and lo pivots.
— The visibility of the last hi/lo pivots can be enhanced.
— Prices can be displayed on pivot lines and the text's size and color can be adjusted.
— The number of bars required for the left/right pivot legs can be controlled (the default is 4).
— The source can be selected individually for hi and lo pivots (the default is hlc3 and low .
— The mean of the hi/lo pivot values of the last few thousand chart bars can be displayed. Pivots having lasted longer during the mean's period will weigh more in the calculation. The mean can be displayed in running mode and/or only showing its last level as a long horizontal line. I don't find it very useful; maybe others will.
► Markers and Alerts
— Markers can be configured on breaches of either the last hi/lo pivot levels, or the hi/lo mean. Crossovers and crossunders are controlled separately.
— Alerts can be configured using any of the marker combinations. As is usual for my indicators, only one alert is used. It will trigger on the markers that are active when you create your alert. Once your markers are set up the way you want, create your alert from the chart/timeframe you want the alert to run on, and be sure to use the “Once Per Bar Close” triggering condition. Use an alert message that will remind you of the combination of markers used when creating the alert. If you use multiple markers to trigger one alert, then having the indicator show those markers will be important to help you figure out which marker triggered the alert when it fired.
A quick look at the pattern of these markers will hopefully convince you that using them as entry/exit signals would be perilous, as they are prone to whipsaw. I have included them because some traders may use the markers as reminders.
Using Pivots
These pivots can be used in a few different ways:
— When using the high / low sources they will show extreme levels, breaches of which should be more significant.
— Another way to use them is with hlc3 (the average of the high , low and close ) for hi pivots and low for the lo pivots. This accounts for my personal mythology to the effect that drops typically reach previous lows more easily than rallies make newer highs.
— Using low for hi pivots and high for lo pivots (so backward) can be a useful way to set stops or to detect weakness in movements.
You will usually be better served by pivots if you consider them as denoting regions rather than precise levels. The flexibility in the display options of this indicator will help you adapt it to the way you use your pivots. To indicate areas rather than levels, for example, try using a brightness of 1 with a line thickness of 30. The cloud effect generated this way will show areas better than fine lines.
Realize that these pivot lines are positioned in the past, and so they are drawn after the fact because a given number of bars need to elapse before calculations determine a pivot has occurred. You will thus never see a pivot top, for example, identified on the realtime bar. To detect a pivot, it takes a number of bars corresponding to the dilation of the higher timeframe in the current one, multiplied by the number of bars you use for your pivots' right leg. Also note that the Pine native function used to detect pivots in this indicator considers a summit to be a top when the number of bars in each leg are lower or equal to that top. Bars in legs do not need to be progressively lower on each side of the pivot for a pivot to be detected.
If you program in Pine
— See the Pinecoders MTF Selection Framework for an explanation of the functions used in this script to provide the selection mechanism for the higher timeframe.

PivotPoints with Momentum confirmation by PeterOWho wouldn't like to be able to tell when the market actually reverses instead of just faking it? Every trader who has tried pivothigh/pivotlow functions for that, surely bumped into so many meaningless reversal signals, that probably got discouraged with this concept entirely.
Yet, pivot points are very important. Only they need to be confirmed at least a little bit (you'll never know for sure, you understand that right?)
This script enhances pivot-points mechanism with by confirming potential pivot point with actual reversal in momentum. If momentum reversal is also noticed in synch with the pivothigh/pivotlow, then you've got yourself a reversal - marked on the chart with red or green triangle. You can visually compare where those triangles are marked as compared to those small black ones, meaning the standard pivothigh(high,1,1)/pivotlow(low,1,1). Check yourself how many times this method would save us from pre-mature entry. On average 2/3 pivot points are filtered out.
This is a non-delayed confirmation - there is no waiting for another candle to close, just looking to another indicator for a match.Trader needs to take a decision immediately because if he hesitates, he will be late for sure. Also sometimes this script produces signal even before a full pivot-point is formed, as pin-bar analysis is also included here.
What this script IS NOT:
- a complete trading map. Don't take trade on each green or red triangle. You still need to do your homework on market direction, trend, phase, wave, etc. But at least you have the "trigger" part done.
- these pivot points are still not "guaranteed". You never know the future even as close as the very next candle, so the market can continue its trend right after it produces reversal signal. The aim of this indicator was only to filter out those potential pivot points, which didn't really look like reversals.
If you think this method could be improved somehow or would like to share your thoughts or approach, don't hesitate to reach out to me or write down in comments.
P.S. Credit goes to UCSGEARS for his Top&Bottom candle script. Amazing work. I used the momentum calculation from there.
IntraDay Pivot Lines, 30min IBThe script draws critical lines for IntraDay traders:
1) High/Low of the last Month - in Red/Green thick line
2) High/Low of the last Week - in Red/Green
3) High/Low of the first 30minute of the current trading day - in Yellow
4) High/Low of the first 5min of the trading day - in Grey
MultiTimeFrame Fractals D W M [xdecow]This indicator shows fractals in different timeframes. With the possibility of coloring the bars with any combination of current, daily, weekly and monthly timeframes.
The return points are calculated as follows:
high > last 3 highs and close above highest low
low < last 3 lows and closes below lowest high
The direction of higher timeframes fractals tend to be more durable and reliable. This indicator helps to find the fractal alignment of different timeframes, so that you can look for trade opportunities in the same direction as the higher timeframes and improve your chances.

[fikira] Harmonic Patterns 2This is "Harmonic Patterns", part 2 Open Source
(in 2 parts, otherwise many lines are gone because the script is too large):
- Crab
- Bat (+ Alt)
- Butterfly
- Shark
A "Pattern" is created by checking 5 consecutive ( pivot ) points, starting with X, A, B, C, and ending with point D.
At point D all 5 points are compared, calculated and verified.
When confirmed, a "Label" will be plotted at point D, together with the "Entry", "Take Profit" and "Stop Loss" price.
The "Entry", "Take Profit" and "Stop Loss" lines will be plotted as well at point D.
Lastly, a "Drawing" automatically will be displayed which makes the "Pattern" visible.
Please do mind, the "Drawing" is calculated differently, the "Drawing" sometimes can be displayed incorrectly
when prices are too close to each other (for example low Satoshi price changes).
THE "ENTRY", "TAKE PROFIT", "STOP LOSS" PRICES AND LINES ARE NOT AFFECTED AT ALL BY THIS, THEY WILL SHOW CORRECTLY!
- 1 "TP point" can be changed ("TP Level 0.618")
- "Labels", "Lines", "Drawings" can be disabled/enabled
- "Labels" can be made smaller or bigger ("Size Label")
- "Labels" can be placed further or closer to the bar ("Distance TP Label" > higher = closer, lower = further)
- "Lines" can be made thicker or thinner ("TP Linewidth")
- "Drawings" can be made thicker or thinner ("Drawings Linewidth")
- "Drawings" are created by comparing with 100 bars back in history (default), should it be (very rarely) a triangle is displayed flat on the left side,
possibly the first point(s) is/are further than 100 bars ago, in this case increase "Period Drawings" above 100.
- Animal symbols can be enabled/disabled
- When several "Patterns" appear on the chart, the oldest ones won't be displayed anymore, first the "Drawings", then the "Lines"
The last (present) ones will always be displayed in total without a problem!
- If you want to see "Patterns" with less correct measurement, change "Error Marge" 0.9 - 1" and "Error Marge" 1 - 1.1"), this gives max. about 10% extra margin
- Added more settings regarding "Drawing Lines"
Thank you very much!

Extrapolated Pivot Connector - Lets Make Support And ResistancesIntroduction
The support and resistance methodology remain the most used one in technical analysis, this is mainly due to its simplicity, and unlike lots of techniques used in technical analysis support and resistances have a certain logic, price can sometimes appear moving into a channel, support and resistances allow the trader to estimate such channel and project it into the future in order to spot points where price might reverse direction.
In this script a simple linear support and resistance indicator is proposed, the indicator is made by connecting past pivot high's/low's to more recent ones and extrapolating the resulting connection. The indicator is also able to make support and resistances by using other indicators as input.
Indicator Settings
The indicator include various settings, the first one being the length setting who determine the sensitivity of the pivot high/low detection, low values of length will detect the pivot high/low of noisy variations, while higher values will detect the pivot high/low of longer term variations.
The figure above use length = 5.
The A-High parameter determine the position of the pivot high to be used as first point of the resistance line, higher values will use oldest pivot high's as first point. The B-High parameter determine the last pivot high. A-Low and B-Low work the same way but affect the support line, a label is drawn on the chart in order to help you determine the position of A/B-High/Low.
Using Other Indicators Output As Input
The "Use Custom Source" option allow you to apply the indicator to other indicators, for example we can use a moving average of period 50 as input
Or the rsi :
Let me help you set the proposed indicator easily to indicators appearing on a separate window, for example the momentum oscillator, add the momentum oscillator to the chart, to do so click on indicator and search "momentum", click on the first result, once on the chart put your mouse pointer on the indicator title, you'll see appearing the hide, settings and delete option, at the right of delete you should see three dots which represent the "more" option, click on it and select "Add indicator on Mom" and select the extrapolated pivot indicator, you can do that by searching it, altho it might be easier to do it by adding the indicator to favorites first, you then only need to select it from your favorites.
You might see a mess on the indicator window, thats because the extrapolated pivot is still using high and low as input, go to the settings of the extrapolated pivot indicator and check "Use Custom Source", it should appear properly now.
Tips And Tricks When Using Support And Resistances
Linear support and resistances assume an approximately linear trend, if you see non linear growth in the price evolution you can use a logarithmic scale in order to have a more linear evolution. To do so right click on the the chart scale and select "Logarithmic" or use the following key shortcut "alt + l".
When applying the indicator to an oscillator centered around zero make sure to adjust the settings of the oscillator such that the peak magnitude of the oscillator is relatively constant over time.
Here a roc of period 9 has non constant peak amplitude, you can see that by looking at the position of the pivots (circles), increasing the period of the roc help capture more significant pivots high's/low's
Conclusion
In this post an indicator aiming to draw support and resistances is presented, the fact that it can be applied to any other indicator is a relatively nice option, and i hope you might make use of this feature.
The code make heavy use of the new features that where integrated on the v4 of pine, such features are really focused on making figures and labels, things i don't really work with, but it is nice to step out my short codes habits, and i don't exclude working with figures in pine in the future.
Thanks for reading !
