GDXU`s underlying index, the S-Network MicroSectors Gold Miners Index, is comprised of two established ETFs, namely: VanEck Gold Miners ETF (GDX) and VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ), which primarily invest in the global gold mining industry.
