NUGO seeks long-term capital growth from an actively managed, concentrated portfolio of 40 to 65 US large-cap companies exhibiting a combination of growth, quality, and value characteristics. Eligible firms with at least $1 billion market-cap are further analyzed based on: earnings growth, cash flow, products and services, balance sheet, return-on-investment (ROI), management integrity, and relative valuation. The fund may have a foreign exposure of up to 20% through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). At times and depending on market conditions, the fund may invest a significant percentage of its assets in a small number of business sectors or industries. NUGO is Nuveens first ETF that is not based on one of its existing mutual funds.
