National Bank of Bahrain is engaged in retail and commercial banking services. It operates through the following segments: Retail, Commercial, and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs); Corporate, Institutional, and Investment Banking; Overseas Branches; and Treasury, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, and Investments. The Retail, Commercial, and SMEs segment caters to individuals and commercial enterprises. The Corporate, Institutional, and Investment Banking segment covers governments and corporates. The Overseas Branches segment offers various banking products and services to the group's customers outside Bahrain. The Treasury, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, and Investments segment manages the group's liquidity, interest rate, foreign exchange, market risk and investments. The company was founded in January 1957 and is headquartered in Manama, Bahrain.
