Can Black Berry Stock ($BB) Re-awake? As Memestocks SurgeBlackberry's stock ( NYSE:BB ) price has fallen by over 90% from its 2021 high, indicating a decline in the company's business. The company's annual revenue dropped from over $1.04 billion in 2020 to $843 million in the last financial year, and it reported substantial losses, with the largest one occurring in 2020. IoT revenue was $66 million, and licensing rose to $15 million. Management expects the loss-making to continue for a while and is working to fix it through cost cuts. The company faces substantial competition from other companies. Blackberry ( NYSE:BB ) and other meme stocks surged by double-digits this week after the return of Roaring Kitty, with AMC and GameStop leading the charge. The stock price has moved sideways in the past few weeks, and remained below the crucial level at $5.80 and the 50-day moving average. If this is correct, the stock will likely jump sharply as buyers target the key resistance at $5.80, which is about 87% above the current level. Smart Phone Adoption Will Drive BB to $1,000+ by the year 2020!Smartphones are here to stay. Don't let the naysayers tell you otherwise! BB launch the first smartphone in 1999 and now in 2008 has become the industry leader!!! The stonk is up 700% in just the last two years. And the only way is up!!! By the year 2020 I predict EVERYONE will have a smartphone. We probably won't even speak to each other anymore. Just communicate in text and pictures. SMCI "But AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII" I've heard of it. I think AI is fun and will become important. I just don't think that's a complete bull argument. It's failed many times. Betting on stocks based on new tech that will become important in the future is something that's been getting people wiped out since the 1920s. It's not a free lunch.

The consensus EPS is $-0.03 against $-0.06 of the same quarter last year. ‘ The company’s poor performance and the negative expectations on their earnings are fully justified if we take a quick glance at their financial statements. The current ratio is at 91% indicating the inability to overcome any short term financial turbulence while the net revenue has been on a steady decline. The total assets as well as the shareholders equity have also been declining and as of 31/08/2023 they lost around 32% and 37% respectively while cash on hand also declined by around 30%. All of these data could potentially be a warning of liquidity problems by the company in the near short term outlook and could possibly indicate that the company might be on the move to get more debt in order to finance its operations. ‘ said Antreas Themistokleous, trading specialist at Exness. From the technical analysis perspective the price has been making some minor gains in the last month of the year in an effort to close the year in a positive outlook. BB BlackBerry Limited Options Ahead of EarningsIf you haven`t bought BB here: Then analyzing the options chain and the chart patterns of BB BlackBerry prior to the earnings report this week, I would consider purchasing the 5.50usd strike price Calls with an expiration date of 2023-10-13, for a premium of approximately $0.15. BB: Is at the PCZ of a Bullish Gartley and a Bullish Deep CrabBlackBerry is attempting a spring-and-back-test-of-spring at the bottom of the range that it's been trading within since 2012, and the level happens to align with the PCZ of a huge Bullish Deep on the left, to which it has reacted once before, and on its way to testing the zone a second time and back testing the spring. It's also formed a smaller, more localized Bullish Deep Gartley with some hidden Bullish Divergence on the MACD. If it manages to get back above $5 and stay above $5 in the active session, we would then have room to see it pump all the way up to $24.89 really fast as that is the next major level above and near the 200-Month SMA, but if things really want to get serious, we could see BB complete a Full Measured move of this range which would take it all the way up to the 50% retrace up at around $45.39

The fake breakout to the upside turned those buyers into sellers as it broke out of the range to the downside. Now buyers are trapped and the false sell pattern on intraday caused shorts to buy, adding more liquidity for smart money as they have massive sell orders to fill.

Does BB hold warnings for tech giants? BB invented the smart phone, and that concept really caught on. But it didn't reflect in the BB stock. BB was once very top of the game. But things changed. One has to wonder if similar fates are in store for mega stocks like AAPL and MSFT. While this seems crazy based on what we're used to seeing from these stocks, it also would have seemed crazy for BB at the time of the high. Look at the final spike out of the high. Scroll your chart so you can only see the last bull candle and the first bear candle, and ask yourself - would this not have looked exactly the same at the high? MSFT: AAPL: Both of these have now made the moves I expected to see in big top in SPX. I'm starting to think it's a lot more possible we might have big highs in now. If we do what we should see is the sell-off continue for a while, a big bull trap and then upon the failure of the next rally to make a new high (Forming a head and shoulders, probably) we enter into a real bear market.

$BB Trend ReversalBlakeBerry Limited is showing a sloped inverse head and shoulder on the daily. Following earnings there was a high volume surge pushing the price higher, maybe selling those patents was a great idea after all... Anyway, this is currently a risky play to enter now as price action is below 200MA. Depending on this coming weeks stock performance I might jump in on some option calls. I do like that the price seems to have stabilized all week around $4.55. My entry would be around $4.35 with a stop loss at $4.15.
