Major Top for BRK.BAbout every decade BRK.B has a major top. Drawing a fib from the Dot.com correction in 1999 the 2.618 called the top of the Great Financial Crisis in 2007, and the 4.414 called the next major top in 2014. Drawing a fib from the GFC the 2 was almost hit during the top in 2014, and 4.414 called $294 as the next decade's cycle top, which has been rejected twice this year. The four major tops are actually spaced apart by about seven years (1999, 2007, 2014, 2021).
The daily chart has formed a triple top over the past six months. Two shooting star candles confirmed that $294 is seemingly insurmountable resistance, the first on May 10 and the second on November 8. Although this may continue to consolidate for months or longer, the upside is very limited, the opportunity cost is high, and an eventual correction can be expected.
Berkshire Hathaway Triple Witching expires todayBerkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) 12/17 Triple Witching contracts expire today. BRK.B is at all-time highs sitting at a major resistance level. On December 3rd it hit a low of $275.27 and then it has been on a bull run since. This analysis is a contrarian idea that's opposite of the recent price action, based on patterns from the previous four Triple Witching expiration dates 12/18, 3/19, 6/18, 9/17. Now obviously, from the net volume inflow since December 3rd, institutional investors rotated into (value) BRK.B as a capital safe haven from the Omicron market volatility, Triple Witching expiry and FOMC meeting. Is there going to be a net volume outflow today?

Retest after the breakout on Berkshire.Today we will take a look at Berkshire Hathaway's price action .
On this chart, we can see two major technical elements.
1) The current ascending trendline started at the bottom of the pandemic sell-off. While the price stays above that line, we should be open to bullish movements coming.
2) The current consolidation. Those structures are great situations to look for the beginning of new impulses. Berkshire has been moving sideways for the last 280 days, and a few days ago, we saw a new ATH, and now the restest is happening.
That's why I have defined an activation level. IF the price makes a new ATH, I expect a bullish movement towards the fibo extensions. An invalidation level in case that happens is below the current correction around 268.77
In case everything goes as planned, my estimate is a 150 days movement towards the target.
IF the activation level is never reached because the price keeps falling, then that's great "your order, or view" was never executed, and you stayed on the sideway. However, if the price reaches the activation level and goes below the corrective structure, that's why you use a stop loss, and you need to securely leave the market, paying your stop loss (which is never higher than 3% of my trading capital)

Possible Rejection At Top Of Channel Trend LineLooks like we could get rejected here at 295.95
It has stayed in this same trading channel since the 10th of May, so if we do breakthrough make sure to watch for a retest on the top trendline and bullish indications (Bullish Engulfing Candle) for entering a long.
If it breaks down then I would look to open a short position/Put and aim for take profit at the bottom trend line in the channel.

BRK.B LONG POSITIONWe can buy now or hold on to reverse pullback at the neck line (285.0 - 285.50).
The price is probably forming a pattern above 50% fibo...

BRK in range and incertitude for the bullish trendBRK in daily, after a strong bullish trend, it s now in range phase between 272 and 292.
The break of one limit indicate the next direction.
However I see that the movement in weekly became weak, so be careful and wait for more signals.

I keep getting burned a bit, then a lot of my stop losses are being triggered and alerts as well.
Just seems like things are going down for now.

My Father is Charlie Munger...My Uncle is Warren Buffet. This doesn't need a wordy analysis. That'll be disrespectful.
On the 1 hour timeframe, price is simply at a strong support. Very profitable, safe organization. Needs to retrace the previous high. Price broke out of its uptrend and found a solid historical support. Time is champion.
