LVS trade ideas
LVS J-hook patternLVS has formed a J-hook pattern with a projected measured move to the 70 area. This ties in nicely with a prior pivot high which might act as a liquidity magnet. Price is squeezing on the daily timeframe, and the Fibonacci EMAs are stacked in their correct order.
There's decent open interest at the 70 call strike for 21st April expiration which is reassuring ...
LVS Bullish inclined naked puts 24 Feb expiryWhats The Plan/Trade/Thought
It looks like in the short term traders will be more concerned about interest rates and the impact it will have. The sentiment now seems to be that recession will be a soft landing. I think we need to trade on this optimism at least for the next month.
Lets look at categories with strong fundamentals where money might flow into given it’s stability
Resorts and Casinos especially LVS is prime because of China opening up. Most of LVS' casinos are based in Macau and one in Singapore. Similar to the travel industry, we should experience once again the spending power of China's tourism force

56.97 is a S&R point. I do feel that the Strike is very close. But with the market's bullish inclination and a key S&R point. We should have some insulation.

LVS - Macau Government Authority just now renewed LVS' license. LVS - Macau Government Authority just now renewed LVS' license to operate- Giving the stock a minimum of $58 price to the Up side. I call this number not because it is fair value, no, but because it is the st number of channel upper boundary. I think LVS os now going back to $90 again or more.
I anticipate these next two years to be a stock rally for all markets. Why? The combinacion of democrats in the White House and Republicans in The House or Representatives historically bears fruit for equities and two arms of government keep each other in check, and industry finally can do better without their interference.

LVS is full of DistributionLas Vegas Sands is experimenting distribution. The target for LVS is 38.15 - 37.49. The upside levels area 39.98, 40.66, and 41.33. The downside is 38.81, 38.15, and 37.49.
We can speculate why the stock ran up today, but at the end of the day I don't care. I care about the price action of 'how the market is reacting' in order to take advantage of what opportunities the market is providing.
In this environment I'm looking for a potential re-test to the upside levels and turning those into short term positions.
LVS Casino stocks, people wont have jobs soon!!Why is LVS rallying with other casino stocks? Great Depression 2 on the horizon, companies have begun laying off and will do so in spades soon. 30 year mortgages went from 3.2 percent to 6.5-7%, gas is $7 a gallon, credit card debt is a record $1.1 trillion soon enough vacations and leisure will cease as necessities will be all anyone will be spending on. Steer clear this sector for the foreseeable future!

We have faith in LVS to make up big groundBased on historical movement, the trough could occur anywhere in the larger red box. The final targets are in the green boxes. The pending top should occur within the larger green box as has been the historical case. Half of all movement has ended in the smaller green box. In this instance, the signal indicated BUY on March 2, 2022 with a closing price of 44.4.
If this instance is successful, that means the stock should rise to at least 44.86 which is the bottom of the larger green box. Three-quarters of all successful signals have the stock rise 5.912% from the signal closing price. This percentage is the bottom of the smaller green box. Half of all successful signals have the stock rise 11.262% which is the end point of the black dotted arrow. One-quarter of all successful signals have the stock rise 21.391% from the signal closing price which is the top of the smaller green box. The maximum rise on record would see a move to the top of the larger green box. These are the same concepts for the levels in the red boxes as well.
The ends/vertical sides of the boxes are determined in a similar fashion. The peak of the rise can occur as soon as the next trading bar after signal close, while the max rise occurs within the limit of study at 35 trading bars after the signal. A 1% rise must occur over the next 35 trading bars in order to be considered a success. Three-quarters of successful movement occur after at least 10 trading bars; half occur within 20 trading bars, and one-quarter require at least 31 trading bars.
The black dotted arrow represents median historical movement. Medians are a good metric, but they are just one of many I use when forecasting future movement.
As always, the stock could decline the very next bar after the signal without looking back (therefore the red boxes would not come into play) or the stock may never decline (and the green boxes may never come into play).
LVS - poised to break up soon?LVS has been forming a base pattern for the last 6 months and with RSI at 60 now, the odds of breaking above the neckline at 45.50 is looking good.
Looking to long if it breaks above 45.50. A strong volume breakup will be a good sign that the trend could be sustainable with intial target of around 56.50.
Initial stop loss @ 42.50.
