MICROSTRATEGY CEDEAR EACH 20 REP 1 COM forum
thelogman I was going to ask you your stance this morning, so you made it easy for me thanks. I know this guy in the video is a breathless pumper, but... could he be right?
As for me, I am a MSTR pragmatist. Because of my rather large holding of MSTY, which I used to use for swing-trading and dividend capture, for a little share price gain, but mainly phat income from the divys. For me, I was making dividends and preserving capital on the way DOWN, in early 2025. I was hoping for a large ramp up with Global Liquidity into September, so I could hold shares as they appreciated, but now we know what is happening. The drying up of the MSTR volatility recently makes my swing strategy (pun) have to pivot to: buy and HODL. The now less-than-phat monthly distributions are OK, they were baked into the business plan. The lower vol is less desirable, but not untenable for me. What I am trying to assess, is: regardless of Saylors drunken (again pun) behavior, is the vlogger above right? Are the STR(x) instruments just the tip of the iceberg? Is Saylor a new Steve Jobs, offering people something they don't yet know they need?
It's no secret that I'm not a raging bull on MSTR and never have been. But I also don't believe the story is over yet for MSTR. I think stocks like this take a long time (months and even years) to play out in order to finally reach proper valuation, which I'm assuming will eventually be much closer to spot mNAV than the current premium. I think MSTR still has lots of good days in front of it before that happens. I wouldn't bet against another run at ATHs if BTC gets heated up again during this current bull cycle.
If you're a former bull that has lost faith or turned negative, I'd like to know the reason(s) and what if anything would lead you to go back long again.
In my opinion he must diluate until reach 1,2 times or so. Far more attractive for long term investors...
