NG trade ideas

Long NGNG closed with a solid weekly candle which is indicating bullish momentum. It appears that we're primed to test the .618 level, and if we break through, we're in for a massive move. Breaking that level means shattering resistance and breaching the 200 EMA - all good signs for a rise in NG prices. I’m targeting the $8 zone for taking profits. This chart based off of The Elliot Wave Theory, Fibonacci, EMA’s, MacD , RSI , Momentum, and resistance/support zones combined with patterns.

NEW POSITION $NG Target 10.09 for 23.20% $NG Target 10.09 for 23.20% Or double position at 6.29 That's one heck of a dip right there. I don't love trading gold so I took a smaller than normal position here... but it looks like it has a nice range. — On the far right of the chart is my Average (Grey) Current Target (Green), and Next Level to add (Red) Percentage to target is from my average. I start every position with 1% of my account and build from there as needed and as possible. I am not your financial advisor. NG Technical Analysis and Prediction. AMEX:NG On Thursday May 28th,“Short seller” J Capital (j cap is their hip, self- appointed nickname) published an intentionally provocative report saying to short NovaGold Resources. It included a bunch of attention-grabbing sections (entitled things like Original Sin and Fool’s Gold), very clever... However, a rudimentary background check on Tim Murray and Anne Stevenson-Yang (principals at J Cap) shows that these two have virtually 0 credible finance experience or pedigree, let alone expertise in Alaskan gold mining. In fact, they were previously Cook Book publishers. Tim Murray has gone on record saying: “Equity research is not that different to publishing” and “I’d never really worked in but I had run companies, I knew how companies operated and I had been screwed in business in China every single way possible.” Their website cites zero in terms of track record/past performance, in addition to looking like a 3rd grader constructed it. Yet, nonetheless, the stock dipped over 10% based on their “research”. NG will be setting the record straight next week and responding to their claims. Billionaire Dr. Thomas Kaplan is going to author the response and discredit J Cap with it by the time he is done. Billionaire hedge fund manager John Paulsen bought NG in Q1’20. Over 55% of float is owned by institutional investors. Conclusion: Buy NG at market open on Monday to catch a rally to $10.19 and if it can break $10.19 there is a gap fill up to $10.36, which would indicate a great swing opportunity to $10.65.
