TSM wave 3 progressing.Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing or TSMC 2330 opened Advanced Backend Fab 6, a packaging and testing fabrication plant located in Zhunan Science Park, Miaoli, northern Taiwan, according to a Thursday press release. The facility, which commenced construction in 2020, was built to mass-produce the company's SoIC (System on Integrated Chips) process technology. The fab has a base area of 14.3 hectares, making it TSMC's largest advanced backend fab to date, the chipmaker said. It is estimated to have an annual production capacity of over 1 million 12-inch wafer equivalent 3DFabric process technology and more than 10 million hours of testing services.

Is it Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co's turn now? NVIDIA vs TSM The Chart for NYSE:TSM is lining up almost identically to NVIDIA prior to its major move higher. - MACD Crossing now - OBV Breaking upwards - RSI 56 level about to be breached Like NASDAQ:NVDA , TSM could rise by 39% to its ATH & appears to be following the NASDAQ:NVDA set up. NVIDIA is the 6th largest company in the world by market cap at present and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. is the 10th largest. It will be interesting to see if the TSM chart will follow the pattern of NVIDIA's. This could be an opportunity for a trade. Please not that the below chart is a monthly chart and thus the trade would require waiting 3 - 6 months to play out. An ideal entry would have been $82 and at present this would place a stop at $90. With ATH at $145 this gives you a Risk Reward Ratio of 3:1 from the current value of $103. Not the greatest or worst RR but the set up just looks so similar its hard not to have a stab

Congress appears to be reaching a deal on the debt ceiling over the weekend. For further confirmation of a trend day, watch for: USI:ADD pinned near +\-2000 USI:VOLD ratio over +/- 3 USI:TICK cumulating past 0 wicking to +/-900 NYSE:FTCH - Farfetch's Q1 Loss Narrows as Sales Increase; Shares Jump Premarket But Wedbush Analysts Remain Unconvinced, price target lifts to $12 from $11. Gapping 4 ATRs in the PM on 1.35 RVOL, so I would expect some consolidation off the open. Doesn't have much for res above so that's why I'm keying in on this name despite the high ATR move, however, it could easily dump off the open and then we would throw this idea away unless we see some convincing buying at an important level like 5.0. Chips: still super strong, looking for retests of the key range BO areas to get long. NYSE:TSM - 91.80 NASDAQ:MU - 66.00 NYSE:GOOS - 2023 Revenue up 31.4% Provides Guidance for increased store growth - goose was a complete loser PD, selling only stop near the close where we saw a nice rally back to 18.33. However, if you look at what goose did pervious earnings was it sold off the entire day, in made almost a complete reversal. . Watching for signs of strength off the open if it can first get over 18.30 and hold. Support 17.50 Resistance 18.30 Inflection 18.30 NYSE:GTES - 12 RVOL PD after a complete flush down the prior day from 13.5 to 111.70 but couldn't get past the 11.70 support. If we can close over the 12 inflection, few min off the open there is potential for a massive relief rally, especially since the vast majority of vol was done at 12, also shown by AVWAP and vol profile. Pay attention to this one if a squeeze is your style of trade. Comment what you are watching!

TSM Outlook: A Sickness in Chips?After taking a look at NVDA and the situation shaping in that chart, I decided to take a closer look at TSM (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing) as a comparison and hopefully get an idea if the bleak outlook of NVDA is more about NVDA in particular or chips in general. It doesn't look nearly as bad but it does not move like NVDA does, which is basically a meme stock at this point. If the next few months play out the way they seem they are going to, it'll basically be in the same position, parabolic trend line broken and steep decent back down to Earth. Can't help but wonder if this chart is spelling out "China Invades Taiwan" like NVDA seems to. Obviously A lot of speculation but something is brewing and the charts don't lie.

The company is expected to report its earnings for the fiscal quarter ending on Thursday 13th of April. The consensus EPS is $1,21 compared to the result for the same quarter last year of $1,40. ‘For the past 3 years the company is growing its financial statements showing more net profit and increase in their total assets. With a relatively low debt to equity ratio (company uses less debt to finance its operations) and also a high current ratio of more than 200% (ability of the company to repay its short term liabilities with assets that currently has) TSM looks like a financially healthy company and is an attractive addition to investors portfolio.’ said Antreas Themistokleous, an analyst at Exness ‘ The technical indicators also show that the share of the company is still in a bullish movement further supporting the argument of an attractive investment’ On the technical side the price is in an effort to regain some ground and reach February’s high near the $100 level. At the time of this report the Bollinger bands are slightly expanding indicating volume building up while the $90 price area consists of a very strong support area on the chart because of the cross between the 23.6% of the daily Fibonacci retracement level, the 20 and 50 day moving averages. The Stochastic oscillator is not indicating any overbought levels just yet so the chances of a further move up are still high. In the case of a move up the first major resistance level could be laying around the $98 area which is the last area of price reaction in mid February.

"Using TSMC as an example for trading explanation" Using a "valid", "stop-loss", "almost daily trading" short-term stock trading strategy for day trading or swing trading, the results are as follows: 1. Use a positive expected value trading strategy and follow discipline to take profit and stop loss. 2. Backtesting shows a substantial performance chart, 46 months, 527 trades, over five years +72%. 3. However, when you factor in the "0.4%" transaction tax + commission fee, you will find that you will lose badly. Why? The reason is simple. 0.4% is very scary. If you trade 100 times, you will lose 40%. Will a person who trades every day trade 200 or even 300 times a year? With 527 trades, your trading cost is 527*0.004 = -210.8%. Adding the +72% performance and subtracting the -210.8% trading cost, you will end up with a result of -100%, losing everything after working hard for four years without making any mistakes. "If you are day trading stocks, I want to tell you to be clear-headed. The trading cost of day trading stocks is so cruel." Choosing the right market, commodity, and understanding the rules of the game are essential! For example: Taiwan's stock trading tax is 0.1~0.3%, and commission fee is 0.1~0.3% The US stock trading tax is 0.00207%, and commission fee is 0.1%~0.5% Unless you are really skilled enough to overcome the trading cost.
