Hello Traders and Investors,
in my opinion, this setup offers a very good trading opportunity as well as a good investment opportunity.
The price is at a strong buy zone. The price has already formed 2 nice weekly hammers. In daily, there was a hammer a few days ago and confirmation by the bullish candle the next day.
The price has been in a range of about $45 to $56 for over a year. If the price leaves this range to the upside, there is a high probability of reaching $65.
However, WBA also offers a good investment opportunity as the dividend yield is over 4% and the fundamentals are also very strong.

Walgreens earnings tomorrow at 7amWalgreens (WBA) Q1 November 2021 earnings are tomorrow 1/6 at 7am. Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) reported Q4 August 2021 earnings of $1.17 per share on revenue of $34.3 billion. Revenue fell 1.4% compared to the same quarter a year ago. The company said in its growth presentation it expects fiscal 2022 earnings of approximately $4.91 per share. The current consensus earnings estimate is $5.06 per share for the year ending August 31, 2022. The setup here leaves little space for much more of an upside move, but also WBA should meet or beat consensus estimates. So I'm neutral leaning bearish at these levels going into earnings. Here's important price levels on the 1 day chart.

Inverse Head and Shoulders on WalgreensThis could take us up to the 88.6% Retracement i would buy half of what I would normally buy here and I'll buy the rest if it pulls back more. Stoploss below the level of the right shoulder. In either case my profit taking level will be the 88.6% Fibonacci Retracement.
$WBA Cheap & OversoldWalgreens Boots is a very stable business with over 9,000 drug store locations across the states giving it low downside risk, valuation is cheap at 14.91 times earnings and a 4.37% dividend yield. Technically speaking price is below the lower Buy Sell Band, Range Strength and Hurst Exponent both indicate price is in a non-trending mode, and the RSI shows it's oversold and currently 6.81% below the 50 day MA making a nice long play here back up to the 50 day MA.

WalgreensI see a possible M pattern forming here. I'm thinking about more people being sick and pharmacy visits over the cold winter season. Walgreens is a great convenience store with solid customer service from my experience. They've been around for a long time. I want to see price retrace the previous high up to 38 - 61%. We are currently in consolidation. However, I believe that since that previous was broken and the current low being higher than the previous, I can see WBA respecting that sentiment on a long term scale. The win goes to the longest holder. On the weekly , we are on the bottom of the Mac D as well and looks to be losing its bearish momentum.
Not advice!
WBA Complete analysis for going longThis is very nice setup with multiple confirmations:
1. It has very strong support level
2. The last time it reached it consolidated into bull flag, than it broke it and had bullish momentum for couple of days
3. Consolidation with 2 trendlines at the same place is broken
4. if it makes new high it can continue expected trend
Walgreens Gonna bring some greens! With the last 4 quarters being profitable, and the down trend broken in December 2020, the stock is finding some upward momentum. The recent bounce from the support at 46.10$, is a good buying opportunity. Must clear hurdle at 50.60$ then will reach 56$
Remember to manage your capital at risk and stop loss ( I usually place it 10% below entry)
