Cementos Bío Bío SA engages in the manufacture of cement and ready-mix concrete. It operates through the following segments: Cement, Lime and Others. The Cement segment manufactures and sells cement and ready-mixed concrete. The Lime segment engages in the manufacture and sale of lime, which is used in various processes linked to the extraction of silver, gold, lithium and iodine. The Others segment consists of the general administration services and other results of the parent company. The company was founded by Hernan Briones Gorostiaga and Alfonso Rozas Ossa on December 27, 1957 and is headquartered in Santiago, Chile.
