BBY: $88 Short Target because Post-Covid Shopping + DemandFirst off, please don't take anything I say seriously or as financial advice. As always, this is on an opinion based basis. That being said, I have a few insights. Best Buy is expected to have a positive continuation of its recent uptrends, and I have it on my watchlist. Currently, I am bullish on the supply and demand curve getting fixated and that it could hit an $88 price target quite soon. I also think it has some long potential as well, so I am ranking this a long.
BBY trade ideas
BBY doughAnalysis done on 25/05/2020
Fundamental
→ 20 & 40 SMA sloping up
→ 20MA > 40MA
→ Low of daily bar touches 20MA or goes below 20MA
→ Close above 40MA
Awaiting buy trigger
→ CCI <-100
Pull trigger
→ Buy 1 bid above previous day high
→ Sell 5 bars later exclusive of initial bar
Stop Loss
→ 50% below price bought
I personally feel that this is a good swing trade; can consider buying 1 bid above previous high and close and take profits 5 bars later.

Shortage of computer monitors in retail stores good for Best BuyEveryone stuck at home for several weeks (months?) working seems to have cause a run on home work (computer monitors for example) and entertainment. Reluctant to ride public transit or go to sporting events or travel, consumers not shy to visit stores carrying what they need to survive at home.
BBY- Pop and drop?RSI from 1 hour to weekly overbought.
Expect to possibly see $93 range before dropping from this parabolic run. ~40% in 3 months. Could be wrong with the signing of Phase one though. On the short list coming up whenever the next correction occurs though.
The bigger they are the harder they fall.
Just speculation not advice.

Best Buy Rallied. Here’s the PullbackElectronics chain Best Buy has been working hard not to become a dinosaur in the retail ecosystem. Following the model of larger rivals like Wal-Mart Stores and Target , BBY has used new services like product support and in-store pickup to keep shoppers in its locations.
The change worked last quarter, driving the stock decisively above $78 for the first time in more than a year. It’s now pulled back and retraced more than half that rally. Still, old resistance could be turning into support as BBY holds $78.
Like IWM yesterday , this level could provide an interesting risk/reward if traders are disciplined enough to cut losses below it. Above $78, trend followers may look to accumulate the retailer – especially with management optimistic about the holidays and new gadgets coming next year.
