Grupo TMM SAB is engaged in the provision of multimodal transportation and logistics services in Mexico. It provides services related to trucking, third-party logistics, offshore supply shipping, clean oil and chemical products shipping, tug-boat services, warehouse management, shipping agency, inland and seaport terminal services, container and railcar maintenance and repair, and other activities related to the shipping and land freight transport business. The firm operates through the following segments: Specialized Maritime Transportation, Logistics, Ports & Terminals, and Warehousing. The Specialized Maritime Transportation segment provides transportation of bulk liquid products, materials, and provisions for drilling platforms, as well as towing services for ships. The Logistics segment includes trucking services to major manufacturers, including automobile plants, and retailers with facilities and operations throughout Mexico. The Ports & Terminals segment is involved in loading and unloading, storage at maritime port terminals, and shipping agency operations. The Warehousing segment consists of storage and management of the facilities. The company was founded on August 14, 1987 and is headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico.
