TSMC looks like its found a bottomTaiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is a stock that i would want in my portfolio for the next 5 years. The semiconductor industry looks like a really exciting growth theme with TSMC as one of the leaders in the industry. The stock has done really well over the last year, so the question becomes, the entry point at which one can buy and hold for the next 5 years. The trading signals suggest that the stock is oversold. The DeMarker signal is extremely bullish, supported by the Stochastic Momentum Index. Hopefully we will see a bounce over the next week or so, although it should happen within the next few days. Please note, this idea is shared for educational and discussion purposes only and should not result in speculative investment decisions in any asset class.

TSM possible scenarios...patience will be crucial with TSM... 1.) Scenario that we can looking for setup is "ABCD" pattern where right now we are in (C) point and that is good setup for buy ... but ... 2.) But as we can see with pink color, if price come down on point (A) we will looking, will the price do a "head and shoulder" and than that will be good setup at price by approx. $105.22 3.) And with yellow color we can see If the price come at point (A) and just bounce back in "ascending triangle" and make ATH we will looking for resistance brake and setups for buy. TSMC - Carmakers’ massive chip shortage. Will Tesla be affected?1. The company (TSMC) is working on an atomic scale that no other manufacturer can match, with 20% of its Q4 revenue being driven by 5nm chips. Intel is falling behind the innovative curve that TSMC is setting. Intel is currently working on manufacturing 7nm transistors, putting them at least 3 years behind TSMC’s capability. (src: Yahoo News January 16, 2021) 2. The company (TSMC) released record quarterly results on Thursday with 22% YoY sales growth and 33% YoY EPS appreciation illustrating substantial margin expansion. Its biggest topline drivers of 2020 were smartphones, high-powered computing, and IoT devices. The biggest and baddest chip innovators like Nvidia NVDA, Broadcom AVGO, Qualcomm QCOM, Intel INTC, and even Apple AAPL all utilize TSMC's cutting-edge manufacturing. (src: Yahoo News January 16, 2021) 3. A Year of Poor Planning Led to Carmakers’ Massive Chip Shortage. Near-sighted planning, supply-chain complexities and a tradition of keeping inventories low caused the semiconductor shortage that is now forcing carmakers to idle production lines and straining their relationship with chip manufacturers.
