The Bovespa Index, also known as Ibovespa, is a benchmark index that tracks the performance of top stocks traded on B3, Brazil Stock Exchange. Created in 1968 with an initial value of 100, it now lists around 90 major Brazilian companies. Ibovespa can be considered the oldest and most traditional indicator of the Brazilian stock market.
