When both technicals and fundamentals confluence$MP, the rare earth materials company, has reported great quarterly reports in the past year, and this year that proves it is pacing firmly to become a very sound investment in the course of electrification and the global clean energy campaign. After a 55% decline, the price became ripe for a good entry if you missed the train in the first place or add to an existing position. Today, a bounce from the 200 SMA confirms that $MP is on its way to higher targets namely: 39, 48, 64, 69, 89, and 97 in the coming months and years. This is a promising and pretty much a safe bet for those who are patient and want to surf on the wave of electrification regardless of the sector or the companies that fight for it to get a good share of the billions of dollars spent in the next 5 to 10 years. My target for the next 12 months was around $40, but if we continue with the momentum that we have seen in the past few days in the growth stock, we should be there this year. Stagflation Play #2American rare earth materials supplier. The stock's getting a buzzcut, too expensive vs. sentiment atm, but hey nothing's cheap today, and if you're driving an EV in the next couple years, you're rig needs hella strong magnets to efficiently propel that induction motor. I think it ricochets somewhere off $18-20 then somewhere in the $40-$60 come September. Bull thesis is customers locking in orders in the here & now drive up pricing while they wait on semis to fit & finish.

$MP - correction finished?On the technical side, the first 5 wave move from SPAC merger to march 2nd high has retraced more than 50% and bounced off the 150d SMA and EMA....the pattern off the high is a perfect 3 move correction hitting the 78.6% on wave b and the -0.5% on wave c.....on the financial side, they're the only fully integrated rare earth mining and processing facility the western hemisphere, and are looking to cut off north American dependency on Chinese rare earth metals. Looking for 34 > 41 > 45 as wave 1/3/5 targets.

Took A Fresh LookAfter missing some nuances, I took a look at the weekly (Red arrow) along with daily RSI and daily downward trend and have an updated chart. From this perspective, it looks like tomorrow and Thursday are key points. The RSI came right back to the shorter term downward trend and is also bumping against the longer term trend. I am 100% rooting for the long term trends to be stronger than the shorter, on both RSI and the daily chart, but being a newb I just don't know what is going to happen without some news as a catalyst.

MP, TIME TO BUY?Hello fellow traders and investors, here's another trade idea. MP has been a very popular stock and has recently pulled back to the support area, if MP makes a recovery to the take profit area from the 28$ area it offers around a 60 to 70% ROI however from where we are right now it offers a 30 to 35% ROI. I am anticipating it going to the 28$ area. Technicals: The Macd indicates that it's oversold and still in a downtrend The RSI is oversold and tends to get rejected by the trendline The EMA's indicate that it's very close to crossing over When To Buy: When it indicates a reversal, the RSI has to breakout of the trendline, the Macd has to cross it's MA and the EMA's have to crossover. Make sure to wait for confirmation from each of them. I personally think MP is headed for 28$ and then followed by a recovery. When To Sell: I recommend selling in the take profit area. Fundamentals: MP Materials Corp. engages in the production and marketing of rare earth specialty materials. It owns and operates Mountain Pass, an industrial asset, which is the only rare earth mining and processing site of scale in the Western Hemisphere. These rare earth materials are essential for the fabrication of electric vehicles, wind turbines, robots and much more. Now some people are probably thinking well what if we transition to hydrogen cars instead of electric cars well my answer for that is any vehicle like so pretty much needs these rare earth materials. We all know that electric cars or hydrogen cars are going to take over in the next years which means we will need more of these rare earth materials and this is where MP materials really contributes to this. They have a P/S of 44$, a debt/equity of 0.08, a sales growth Q/Q of 100%, an earnings per share growth Q/Q of 2225%, a profit margin of -16% and a short float of 6.72% Rating: 95/100 the technicals are good and so are the fundamentals. I think it's fine that they are trading at an insane valuation because they have tremendous growth and for the profitability, I don't think it really matters because they are a very new company and if you really don't like that just to put it into prospective Tesla didn't turn profitable till like last year so all that to say it's not that big of a deal. And one of my favorite investor Chamath Palihapitiya is also personally invested. And a lot of people are getting worried about the chairman and CEO selling 155$ million dollars worth of stock however he still owns the majority of what he had and he is now still holding around 400$ million dollars worth of stock. NOTE: I am going to look for opportunities to load up a bunch at the 28$ area. I hope you enjoyed this quick analysis and many more to come. New position, MP materials LONG!After due diligence, I really like this company and it' future expansion plans and current execution. My PT is 45-47 so there is a lot of potential with this one. Hoping for more short term weakness to build a position (I am not expecting all my buy limits to get it, but if they do, even better. After position has been built, I'll let them roll until PT is hit. What do you guys think of MP materials? Seeing it from a risk-reward perspective for the long-term I am really liking this company!
